Hate-monger heads World Bank
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore: The new emerging Dictator of the world has given yet another proof its hate-mongering by appointing the hated Paul Wolfowitz as the next President of the World Bank.

Paul Wolfowitz, as already mentioned several times in DV, is a Jew and the principal controller of the Bush Administration policies and the architect of the attack on Iraq. Though he was the Deputy Defence Secretary under Donald Rumsfeld, he virtually controlled the White House.

By further elevating Paul Wolfowitz, President Bush has given ample indication of his foreign policy which means more wars against Muslims, Blacks, Chinese and other oppressed of the world so that America becomes the sole dictator and owner of the world. Will the world accept hate-mongers?

Please read our Editor's latest book, Shape of the Things to Come, (DSA-2005, Rs. 50) for elaboration on this point.

Or is it the other way? Was Wolfowitz kicked upstairs to get rid of the chief obstacle? Now that Bush has four more years to go he wants to be trouble-free.

" Art of Deceiving" guru floored
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore: A rich man's guru, who is lately trying to strengthen the ruling upper caste, is three times "Sri" Ravi Shankar of the "Art of Deceiving" fame, a Bangalore Brahmin. He is the latest menace as the other and the more famous Satya Sai Baba is ageing and dying without lifting his own immediate surrounding even by an inch. Fortunately Ravi Shankar is deceiving only his jatwalas and other over-fed upper castes who have plenty of time, money and hence too willing to be fooled.

The other day in Delhi at the India Today conclave on Feb.26,2005 the "laughing guru" fell flat unable to fight back the noted poet Javed Akhtar's boxers and bouncers.

Top crook: Brahmins produce lots of "spiritual men" to fool the rich and make money. Ravi Shankar has emerged as a top crook with the support of the big publicity his jati cronies assure in their "national" toilet papers. Much of the press reports boosting this guru are found to be false or exaggerated but none bothers about them.

The Asian Age Delhi correspondent Kounteya Sinha says:
Talking on "spirituality ÑÊhalo or hoax", Akhtar took on "modern age gurus" from the word go. Taking a direct dig at Ravi Shankar by saying "that spirituality should be more than teaching the rich how to breathe", the poet claimed that "modern day-gurus have opened a chain of ashrams where the restless elite buy spiritual fast food".

Claiming that "spirituality was the tranquiliser of the rich", Akhtar also took the example of unhappy rich wives who needed a shoulder to cry on after being ignored by husbands "who were either busy with work or with other women". "So they seek the help of modern age gurus, who promise to rid them of all miseries. The spiritual get-togethers today are nothing less than points of contact and network building exercises for the elite. Like all corporate hunches found on a golf course don't necessary love golf, similarly, all those found at spiritual get-togethers aren't necessarily spiritual", he said.

Pointing out that people must think with their brains and see through the garb of these gurus, "who themselves claim to have achieved nirvana but can't promise to take you there", Akhtar added: "spiritual leaders need to do more than teach about cosmic consciousness. Where are the spiritualists when there are communal tensions? How many have taken Dalits to a temple where they are not allowed to enter? Gautam Buddha, Krishna and Kabir had all raised their voices against social injustice".

Akhtar said: arms, drugs and spirituality were today the world's three biggest industries. "Most of the modern day gurus have affluent clientele that provide him power, status and money. In return, the rich get a crash course in spirituality, nirvana and cosmic consciousness in four easy lessons."

Promotes Hindu nazism: We can do nothing with these modern gurus. Over 85% of India's population is untouched by their spiritual charm.

However, Ravi Shankar not only sells his "spiritualism" to the sex-starved upper caste women but subtly indulges in promoting Hindu nazism. In Bangalore, he has established a multi-million dollar empire employing Brahmin boys and girls.

But the oppressed world of India doesn't take him seriously. He fools only those willing to be fooled.
He has chosen some Brahmin ex-journalists for public relations who have done excellent job. But such godmen come and go, raising lot of dust but wihtout raising the level of humans even by an inch.
This is called "Art of deceiving". We wish such frauds all success.

When Manuwadis became Manav-wadis
Lucknow: It may seem like a reversal of roles but in UP the Bahujan Samaj Party has launched a massive exercise to win over Brahmins while the Congress has started making efforts to woo Dalits in the state. The party apparently feels that Brahmins in UP at present are at crossroads. They are disillusioned with the BJP, disenchanted with the Congress and disappointed with the Samajwadi Party, which in any case has been showing a clear preference for Thakurs rather than Brahmins.

BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Misra, who is the Brahmin face of the BSP and has been entrusted the responsibility to bringing Brahmins closer to the BSP, says:

" We want to broaden the BSP's base and for this we will first hold Brahmin jodo sammelans at district levels and then Ms. Mayawati will address a state- level rally in Lucknow where thousands of Brahmins will join the BSP".

Brahmin-Dalit-Muslim front: The BSP is aware that if it can weave the Brahmin-Dalit combination for the next elections in UP ÑÊAssembly or Lok Sabha, whichever is earlier ÑÊMuslims would also align with the party in a big way.

" It is something like having a minimum guarantee which can bring you big loans. If we have Dalits and Brahmins on our side, Muslims would naturally swing over to us", says a party MP. (Asian Age, March 8, 2005).

Another report said Mayawati held a press conference at Allahabad hailing Brahmins as manav and not Manuvadis. She is really propagating Dalits and Brahmins against OBC. BSP held a Brahmin conference at Allahabad on Feb.20 hailing the Brahmins for being at the forefront of social change in the country and representing manav vad (humanism) not Manuvad.

The Brahminical toilet papers are happy over Mayawati's praise for Brahmins. Dalit writers in Brahmin papers are encouraged to support the Brahmin-Muslim-Dalit combination. But they do not know that the clever politician in Mayawati is only fooling the Brahmins to get over her temporary crisis. It is a political strategy ÑÊEDITOR.

When Dalits disobeyed FINAL WORDS of their Father

THREE COMMANDMENTS OF
DR. AMBEDKAR:
EDUCATE, AGITATE, ORGANISE
V.T. RAJSHEKAR

The "Three Commandments" of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, has a long, long history. It was published in Dalit Voice three times ( latest on Feb.16, 2005, p.21) during its 25-year-old life. Then we brought out its reprint also as a pamphlet thrice, every time printing 3,000 copies. Many language journals translated and published the same.

The rampant distortions found in the order of the "Three Commandments" have been now corrected. DV was the first in the country to point out this widespread mistake and correct the same. But our happiness is limited only to owning this pride but then begins our misery Ñ rather the sorrow.
Sorrow because the educated people among Dalits have betrayed the community. This sums up the sorrow expressed by our Father who died a sad man because of this.

The worst crime of our "educated" lot is their failure to realise the significance of the "Three Commandments". Having committed this worst crime, it became easier for them to commit the second crime of allowing Brahminism to swallow Ambedkarism. The second crime led to the third and the final one. Babasaheb had said: "Untouchables are not Hindu but a separate element ". And that is how Untouchables allowed themselves to be considered Hindu.

Though no caste or community in India had such a super-genius as its Father, we did not realise his greatness. We need not read any book. We need not listen to anybody else for guidance. Our Father had given us wholesome, fool-proof guidance. If we have failed, it is our fault. It is our duty to admit that we have failed.

Did not our Father speak of the "Three separations" from Hindus? Did he not say that Dalit self-determination means "separate electorate, separate settlement and religious separation?

All these costly lapses after lapses were caused by our fundamental failure to follow Babasaheb's "Three Commandments". Having slipped and fell in our very first step, we could not get up. And then we went on from one blunder to the other until we allowed ourselves to be swallowed by the Enemy ÑÊBrahminism.

This is 4th reprint of the "Three Commandments".
