The Bali Vamsha release ceremony of the book by Dr. A. Salunkhe and an attempt to disrupt its function at Belgaum is already reported in DV (DV Nov.1, 2005 p.21). Since the advent of the Shiva Dharma the people are advised to celebrate Diwali by burning the effigy of Wamana and Bali Puja.

Accordingly, on the day of Bali Pratipada, the reports are pouring in that the people celebrated Diwali by the worship of Bali and by burning Wamana, the dwarf Brahmin who killed India's most famous Dravidian leader, Bali Chakravarti.

Throughout Maharashtra including Vidarbha, for the first time the Budhists and the Bahujans did not celebrate Diwali as usual. At Pune a massive rally was held. From the old house of Mahatma Jotirao Phule, a procession was taken through the important localities to the Lal-Mahal, the old palace of Jeejau, the mother of Chatrapati Shivaji. The procession vehicle was decorated with artefacts from the fields of agriculture. Ambarnath, Kalyan, New Bombay, The Madha Taluq, Bhiwandi, Yavala, Patoda we had similar reports. The burning of Wamana, the enemy of indigenous Indians, must be the highlight of Diwali all over India.

IN DEFENCE OF AHMADINEJAD
Only by "wiping off" Israel can peace be restored in world

The bold statement of Iran's President, Ahmadinejad that "Israel must be wiped off from the map" requires the immediate attention of the Second and Third world countries.

Within hours, Israel tried to mislead the world saying it means genocide of Isralies. It demanded expulsion of Iran from UN membership. The next to react were some members of the European Union. The rest of the world was silent. Silence means consent. European Union's resentment is understandable as Israel is their illegitimate daughter created to pack off Jewish menace from their own countries to be planted on Arab soil so that they may directly attack and kill the Arabs, who in turn may be destroy the Jews. Chase the devil to the other man's threshold.

The silence of the rest of the world is for the reason that they themselves were wiped off from the map earlier by Western imperialists. "Wiping off" does not mean genocide but elimination of the governments or rulers of the "wiped off" countries.

Ancient and great kingdoms and empires like Mughal empire in India, Ottoman Khilafat from North Africa, West Asia and Eastern Europe were "wiped off" by the Western dacoit ruling cliques. In the 20th century, we witnessed very many great "wiping off" processes. The British Empire was wiped off. So also the French and Dutch rule from their colonies. Germany was wiped off creating East and West Germanies, which were again wiped off to create a united Germany. Koumintang China was wiped off and its place taken by mainland China. And in very recent times, the USSR was wiped off giving rise to Commonwealth of Independent States.

Yugoslavia was wiped off giving rise to Bosnia, Herzegovina etc. America and Britain are trying to wipe off Iraq replacing it with two additional southern Shia and northern Kurdistan states. But both are being resisted and being sidelined from their dominance in world politics. The Taliban rule in Afghanistan was wiped off by America, if not actually, at least in American minds. America threatens Syria, Iran and North Korea of wiping off.

Thus, when the "wiping off" has always been a process of history, right from the great Roman empire to the present attempts, what is there to disagree with Ahmadinejad. Yes there are reasons for America and Britain to fear, but not far the rest of the world.

The rest of the world remembers and knows the true state of affairs of Israel, which America and Britain want the world to forget and ignore. America does not have its own history and therefore cannot understand history. And Britain, though has a long history, but it is full of the most shameful acts, which it wants to forget and hide from others. The style of writing histories by British historians is out-dated and disgraceful. They are still in the fools paradise. Being isolated they are incapable of understanding the changed trends in the rest of the world.

However, historians elsewhere know that European Christian nations despatched Jews from their countries to get rid of the Jewish menace. Britain, during and after the Second World War survived with the lend and lease policy of America under which it received great military support. Plus, zionist capitalists and bankers provided funds to fight the war and protect itself.

It is not zionist might, philosophy and political sagacity that created Israel but money provided to the declining beggar nation of "Great Britain".

Indians know very well that rich Indians were begged to contribute to British war efforts and given the titles of Khan Bahadurs and Rao Bahadurs in return. Indians were opposed to contribute to British war efforts from the Indian budget.

After getting an illegitimate state of Israel in Palestine, the Israelis, instead of thinking of living in peace with Palestinians and helping them with their wealth to the prosperity of Palestinians, went on killing them in their own land and expelling them and conquering adjacent lands through the money and might supplied by American Governments and zionist bankers and industrialists everywhere. Money collected by way of interest and exploitative profits on their commodities from the victims was used to kill the victims. But this is not visible to everyone.

What is quite visible is that Israel during its half-a-century existence is responsible for all major wars in the world, such as the two wars on Egypt in 1956 and 1967. The Iraq war of 1991 and the presently going war in Iraq.

It made a pre-emptive aerial bombardment of the Iraqi nuclear installations in 1984. It instigated and abetted the Iraq-Iran war from 1981 to 1988. It is continuously killing Palestinians — men, women and children upon allegations of preparations to kill Israelites.

While the rest of the world believes in catching suspects and putting them on trial, Israel simply bombs the suspected hideouts from its helicopters. It has the audacity to build concrete wall between Palestinian and Israeli populations depriving the Palestinians of their livelihood by moving from their homes to their work spots, Palestinian peasants deprived of their lands and converted into daily wage labourers and through this wall even they are deprived of their daily wage. A very cruel process of slow and invisible genocide.

All these crimes against humanity are known to everyone, everywhere. The Americans and the British know better, but condemning Israel outrightly boomerangs upon them politically. Financially also they will suffer as they fear that zionist bankers and industrialists may shift their establishments from their countries to others.

Further, the rulers fear that the zionist news media has kept in reserve pictures and statements of every thing they did and said including their lies and exaggerations and private affairs in their bedrooms which they will explode if they say a word against Israel.

They are afraid that their fate will be like that of Kennedy who was assassinated, Nixon who was Watergated and Clinton who was Lewinskised by a sophisticated Jewish prostitute, Monica Lewinsky, who had kept her panties for years smeared with Clinton's semen. Such records of all the American and British leaders and would be leaders are in stock with the zionist media controllers.

The graph of Israel's crimes is very high up. Bush also appears to be fed up with zionist excesses. He also spoke of wiping off of half of Israel by saying that he wants to see the independent state of Palestine and Israel side by side. And since then clippings of his mis-statements and lies are being shown in zionist- controlled media — BBC, CNN and Fox News.

The American and British rulers are helpless. Only second and third world countries can do with Israel by "wiping off" Israel from the map. Even many of the minor parties in Israel are fed up with these crimes of the dominant ruling Likud Party of Israel.

By "wiping off" Israel from the map, not only that the peace in the world can be restored but also the suffering of innocent Jews of Israel, who were all misguided to go to Israel on the false propaganda that Palestine is an unpopulated land since Jews are a people without land, they should go to the land of Palestine which has no people.

It is these innocent Jews who are dying in Israel and not their zionist masters. Ahmadinejad's statement requires very serious consideration in the interests of the world peace and peace of innocent Jews of Israel and the Palestinians.

The report said one Mewa Lal of Pandeypur wanted to make an unlawful entry into Goverdhanpur on Dec. 8, 2005 to incite violence by starting rath yatra on Nov.27, 2005 in Chittorgarh, mobilizing support for his unlawful actions by travelling through Jaipur, Mathura, Agra, Gwalior and Kanpur and ending the march at the Guru Ravidass Temple, Govardhanpur on Dec.8, 2005. The organizer of this yatra is supported by Vishva Hindu Parishad. His entry will disturb peace. The District Magistrate, Varanasi, must act. Many devotees from Canada and other parts of the world have been visiting this temple and participating in the celebrations organized by Sant Niranjan Das of Dera Bal, Jalandhar, Punjab (www.chetna. net ).

The position of Dalits in Pakistan is exactly like that in India. Dalits of Pakistan should be helped and news and information be shared. I read in the Dawn about the rape of teenage Dalit (Meghwar) girl in Chhor near, Umerkot, Sindh, Pakistan. Two people raped her in her house but culprits not yet arrested. The police and local administration are bribed by the culprits. The local feudals are supporting the culprits. This is the practice all over Pakistan. (khanji1970@yahoo.com).

I was with a group of doctors in the Punjab conducting medical camps around the locations of our schools. I actually got to read your articles firsthand from a copy of Dalit Voice (DV Nov.1, 2005: "Dalits unmask ugly face of Hindus"), sitting on the table in a Dalit leaders home in the Punjab. Thank you very much for the publicity you have given to our efforts in Washington. It certainly is a long road ahead of us, but I'm hopeful that things can change and people will listen. We got a nice response for our first hearing and I am positive that we will have more reaction in response to our future plans in Washington. We also got a good grounding on India's internal affairs and foreign policy and about USA and other international affairs which no paper gives. We are very thankful to you. I want to study your internationally acclaimed book, Caste — A Nation Within the Nation (Books for Change, Bangalore, 2004). JNU Dalit students meeting was good. About 50 students from some 15 universities were present. Girl students actively took part in discussions. It was very exciting. It was the first such national convention of Dalit students who shared their experiences of caste atrocities with anger and dreams of common vision values and objectives. Many topics were discussed — formation of self-image, Dalit student politics, human rights violation of Dalits, language problem, need for national platform of Dalit students participation and representation in decision-making process of Dalit women etc. A national Dalit students forum was constituted to promote and develop Ambedkarites in colleges and universities. It is clear that Dalit students of the country are very much aware of the existing unjust and undemocratic social order, structure and control and state organization we have taken oaths to change this social order. I also found some internal conflict and contradictions among Dalit students of JNU.
