Brahminical caste culture unites with American imperialism

PROF. O.K. YADAV, 512 - CHANDANWASI APTS., SECTOR-10, PLOT-8, DWARKA, NEW DELHI - 110 075

Culture is nothing but class and/or caste culture. It is the ideological reflection to the politics, economics and social relations, religious, racial expressions of a society and its stages of growth during a particular period. Imperialist culture is the reflection of imperialist rule in totality to partial, direct or indirect. In this category falls the culture embodying a slave ideology.

This is the Era of imperialism and American imperialism is all-dominant in the world. It has the hegemony throughout the world. The hegemony is political, economic and military. It has allied and collaborated with all the reactionary forces and their cultures. In this culture fall all cultures embodying a slave ideology.

BAHUJAN CULTURE

In India, Brahminical culture — a despotic caste culture — is also an ally of imperialist culture.

On the other hand, there is the people’s culture, the culture of the toiling masses of India. It is the Bahujan culture. There has been continuous struggle between the two for the last many centuries. Dr. Ambedkar calls it the struggle between Budhism and Brahminism. The former represents the people’s culture. Its clarion call has been Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya. It is based on the principles of “democracy, equality, fraternity”. This has been also called Shraman culture.

Cultural nationalism embodies the existence of a group, separate from others having specific values, history, roots, intellectual traditions, lifestyles, racial, languages and emotional attachments, castes, creed etc. Cultural nationalism can be used like a doulbe-edged sword. It can play a democratic and revolutionary role. On the other hand, cunning, despotic, fascist, reactionary clique can use the emotions to create havoc and even massacre of humanity or other nationalities. History is the evidence to such cruel happenings.

BLACK STRUGGLE IN U.S.A.

In USA, cultural nationalism played a democratic, humanitarian and revolutionary role. Cultural nationalism was founded on the belief that the Blacks and Whites have separate values, histories, intellectual traditions and life-styles and in spirit two Americans — one Black, one White exist. Thus the realization of cultural nationalism links led to the unity of Black Americans to get united for their national liberation and abolition of slavery in US. In this case the minority nationality was enslaved and suppressed by majority. Ultimately they were victorious.

In South Africa, the indigenous Blacks were a huge majority. But the minority White racists defeated them and started ruling the country. The South African Govt. practiced the Apartheid policy where a privileged minority group against the majority exercised a deliberated system of racial discrimination in all spheres. The Black cultural nationalism was created and developed on the belief that they have separate values, traditions, history and hence a nationality. The Blacks started a united resistance struggle.

In the above-mentioned two cases, cultural nationalism did play a revolutionary role. On the contrary, cultural nationalism can also play a reactionary anti-people and fascist role. The case in point is Germany. Hitler and nazis propagated Aryan cultural nationalism’s supremacy and established a fascist despotic rule. Jews were considered the main hindrance in Germany’s growth. Though they were German citizens they were called non-Aryans, hence Backwards and impure. This frenzied Aryan national cultural supremacy led to the militarization of Germany and to control and rule the whole of the world. This led to the World War-II. The destruction of human beings, materials and earth.

ARYAN VS. DRAVIDIAN

India has a unique case of cultural nationalism despite its multi-cultural, multi-lingual, multi-religion, multi-racial and varna/caste-divided society and country. The cultural struggle is not yet over. The struggles and wars between the Aryan invaders and indigenous people such as Nagas and Dravidians had been in the pre-history period where Aryan culture started dominating but other cultures did not vanish rather they are thriving in large areas. After the emergence of Brahminism, it has taken many forms — ideological, religious, social etc. In reality, at the root of this clash of cultures has been the contradiction between working communities and the parasitic classes.

Basically, the Indian society is a varna/caste-divided society, where supremacy of Brahmin has been established. A Brahmin has the absolute monopoly over knowledge. He has the control over the cultural and social functioning of the society. As regards the production activities it is parasitic class. Opposite to this and at the lowest level, the Untouchables are not considered even human beings. Shudras have been divided into many castes and subcastes. But it is these shudras, who are toiling the masses of this society and the real producers. Dalits are the real proletarians.

Brahminism stands for despotism, inequality, exploitation, repression, inhumanity, casteism, slavery and collaboration with imperialism and whatever is hateful in a civil society. Shraman culture stands for democracy, fraternity, brotherhood, equality, humanism and whatever is good for the vast majority.

BABRI MASJID DEMOLITION

So, cultural nationalism is nothing but Brahminical cultural nationalism. This is being propagated against religious minorities especially Muslims and Christians and in a veiled way against SC/ST/BCs.Most of Indian Muslims and Christians are converted from Dalits. Cultural nationalism seeks to establish the rule of 15% of the upper caste as against the 80% original inhabitants.

When the Mandal Commission came out in favour of reservation for OBCs, Brahminical people directed L.K. Advani to start the rath yatra for the construction of Ram Mandir by demolishing Babri Masjid. This yatra created anti-Muslim riots in all the places this yatra passed through. In the name of Rama, BJP was able to form govts. in some states, especially in UP where the agitation for the construction of Ram Mandir was centered.

On Dec.6, 1992 on the death anniversary of Babasaheb, the Hindu nazis demolished the Babri Masjid at Ayodhya.

Cultural nationalism, therefore, means consolidation of fascist Brahminical forces to rule this country on the lines of Manu Smriti. When the Hindu nazis came to power, they planned to amend the Constitution. But they could not succeed because of the people’s resistance. But the attacks on Christians and Muslims increased. The heinous murder of Graham Staines and his children and the attacks on sisters and nuns in various parts was sufficient indication of fascist repression. Things came to head when thousands of Muslims were killed and burnt alive in a state-sponsored genocide in Gujarat.

Cultural nationalism as propagated in India by the Hindu nazis is more dangerous in nature and more heinous than Hitler’s nazism in Germany.

As the Brahminical cultural nationalism surged ahead American imperialism is fast spreading its tentacles in India. Liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation (LPG) have hit the toiling masses hard. Toiling masses are mostly SC/ST/BCs and religious minorities. LPG is to help upper classes/castes, the main component of Brahminism. Public sector enterprises have been disposed of at a throw away price to the private sector. Most of the public sector units have been fully or partially privatised. In PSUs there is reservation of jobs for SC/ST/BCs but not in private sector. So in the days to come the job opportunities for the deprived will be very limited.

RULE OF UPPER CASTES

With liberalisation, FDI inflow has increased at faster rate. MNCs collaboration has also multiplied manifolds. Number of Special Economic Zones are increasing fast. All these will badly affect the working classes. The policy of hire and fire and contract job system will be the order of the day. In this system only the upper class/castes will be the beneficiaries.

Most of the institutes of higher learning are in private hands and very costly. In this case also the weaker sections are losers. By becoming member of WTO, Indian working people are losers, especially in agricultural sector. Thousands of farmers have committed suicides and there seems no end to this malice.

The New World Order and the New Economy is increasingly dominated by “knowledge capital”. The main struggle or the principal contradiction at the world level is between the two cultures — the imperialist culture of enslavement and people’s culture or the culture of toiling masses. In this situation, imperialism, fascism and zionism find its best natural ally in the Brahminical or Hindu nazi culture.

WORLD’S FIRST DESPOT

Brahminism was the first system in world which established despotism in Indian village. This despotism included all aspects of life and was spread over to all the parts of the ancient Indian society. Brahminism also means the production and control of knowledge. Besides untouchability and exclusion has been the root of Hindu Social Order.

The American Neocons talk of “clash of civilization” and practise social/racial Darwinism. On the other side the revolutionary organisations of the great shraman tradition is gripping the toiling masses all over the world. In this period of globalisation, cultural nationalism is also taking the world form. Fighting the rapid cultural nationalism of India, the toiling masses are fighting the battle against imperialism’s slave culture. In this struggle Bharat is to play a leading role. The toiling masses in India are continuously fighting the fascist culture.

Bahujans can rule if they break with Brahminism & join Muslims

USMAN KHALID, DIRECTOR, LISA, 3 - BLACKLANDS DR., HAYES, MDDX, UB4 8EU, UK

India is seen as a Hindu country. It is now slowly dawning on the world that it is not true. The upper castes or Hindus are only 5 to 6% of the population with shudras another 10%. The Muslims are 15 % with Christians and Sikhs 2.5% each. The Bahujans meaning the majority indigenous people (Scheduled Castes 20%, Scheduled Tribes 10 % and OBCs 30 %) who are neither Hindu nor Muslims are 65%.

Wherever the Bahujan castes have united consolidating their “ethnic identity” their vote bank has been the decisive factor in elections. But the Bahujans lacked an international agenda. They confined to social uplift with the primary aim of more reservations — share in education and employment in proportion to their population.

Brahmins have clear agenda: But Brahmins, the real rulers, have a very clear domestic as well as international agenda. They have organised two political parties: the Congress and the BJP — both sides of the same coin — with the same agenda but somewhat different constituencies. That enables them to give appearance of a difference, which is in methods only. The BJP is overtly committed to Hindutva — meaning establishment of Brahminical rule — as its agenda. The Congress pursues the same agenda more discreetly. On the domestic front, the objective is to keep the Bahujan and “faith minorities” (Muslims, Christians and Sikhs) supporting their ‘unity’ agenda as loyal sons of ‘mother India’. On the international front, India is aggressive towards it neighbours and chooses its friends carefully. It was the Soviet Bloc in the past but it is Israel and the countries under its influence now.

Muslim as target: In practice, the unity agenda has been pursued by victimising the Muslims. They are an easy target. Since the Muslim-majority provinces of British India are Pakistan and Bangladesh now, the Muslims in the rest of India are spread out thinly. Muslims in India have been continuously sidelined and reviled as Pakistani agents or worse. Now that Islam is declared by the sole super power to be ‘fascist’, the Muslims are demonised as ‘terrorists’ and victimised with abandon to cheers from America. The Muslims in India feel really and truly afraid. For decades, they thought that being critical of the “Two-Nation Theory” and of Pakistan, they would earn the some space in India. The Congress Party took full advantage of that and ruled India for 30 years as it could rely on the Muslim bloc vote. With the rise of the openly hostile BJP to power, the Muslims wondered what would earn them some space. Fortunately, this occurred at a time when Bahujan castes had become aware of their vote banks and were ready to embrace the Muslims. In UP and Bihar, Muslim vote has been decisive when it was not split. In Bengal and the South the Muslims found space in the Communist Party and in ethnic parties respectively.

Brahmin agenda: The combined vote of Muslims and Bahujan castes is massive and yet it is the Brahmin agenda that continues to be implemented. It is because the Bahujans have no agenda other than ‘rightful share in education and employment’. With the West having turned against Islam, the Muslims of India now have a clear international agenda. They are anti-imperialist i.e. anti-America and they vociferously oppose the US occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq. Since the Bahujan — who are at the bottom of the social pile — are naturally anti-imperialist, the alliance of Bahujan and Muslims in India is natural. Suddenly, it has dawned upon every one in India that the country has three times more Muslims than the Brahmins and other upper castes. And it is the Brahmin who made them Untouchables. The Muslims have more right to Bahujan support (and vice versa) than the Brahmin. It had been possible in the past to cajole the Bahujan into supporting the agenda when ‘Socialist India’ which was a leader in the Non-Aligned Movement. The Bahujan cannot support the agenda of Imperialism: of the USA in alliance with India and Israel.

The Muslims in India feel more confident and the Bahujan are considerably more politically aware. Anything is possible. History of the sub-continent is moving in the direction that would force the Bahujan to break their links with Brahmanism and stand up both domestically as well as internationally against forces of Imperialism. If India moved in that direction, India would be the country with the second largest Muslim population. An India that is not inimical to Islam and where Muslims are in the mainstream would open unprecedented opportunities to the Bahujan majority. They would be able to realise their goal of social equality by escaping from the prison house of their geography and the polity of Brahmanism. The conversion ceremony at Nagpur on Oct.14 last is only the beginning.

LETTERS TO EDITOR

Ali Turgiev, 29-Rusakovskaya Street, APT.176, Moscow, 107113, Russia: Your statement regarding the origin of the Brahmins is very interesting because as a matter of fact at least part of them, those of Aryan origin, came from the northern circumpolar zone, as the work of B.G. Tilak suggests. I believe that Professor Wirth held the same opinion. My interest in Brahmins is due to the fact that they elaborated and passed down through many generations a highly sophisticated system of religious and philosophical beliefs, what Guenon called Primordial Tradition. I know that many Brahmins helped Dalits. Tilak, whom I mentioned, Nehru and many others were Brahmins by birth but they struggled for the freedom of India and the abolition of the caste system. I am on the board of a journal, Holy Mountain, which publishes texts on the tradition and we may translate part of the materials you sent and make them available to the Russian readers. I am a Muslim, Ossetian by ethnic origin, Russian citizen, and I am interested in traditional religions and whether they have any common source. Also, I am interested in the origin of languages; it seems that there indeed existed a common language thousands years ago.

****

Your statement on Tilak and Nehru are factually wrong. Tilak was the founding father of India’s Hindu terrorist party. Nehru too was the enemy of the indigenous people. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the greatest leader of the India’s Untouchables and also India’s tallest intellectual leader, has identified Tilak, Gandhi and Nehru as the enemies of the indigenous people who form 85% of India’s population. You are misled because you go by the history written by our Brahminical enemies who distorted history. They “struggled for freedom” so that they would be free to exploit us. Neither Tilak, Gandhi or Nehru ever spoke a word against the caste system. Rather they were the greatest pillars of caste system and its defendants. Please don’t misguide your students. “Know the truth and truth shall make you free”. This is what the Bible says. Who told you that India had a common language. Which was that language? Are you referring to Sanskrit? Nonsense. Being a Muslim, you should be a truth-seeker — EDITOR.

Dalit Sahitya Akademys best-selling book answering every question

THE BOOK & THE AUTHOR

This is a guide for all human rights fighters. The ruling class in every country has met with defeat or facing defeat. Those upholding imperialism, capitalism, feudalism, nazism, racism, zionism are all dead or dying. Even communism has collapsed. But India’s ruling class propounding Brahminism (Hinduism) is reigning supreme. This is because the oppressor in every other society has been identified, fought and eliminated. But the oppressor in India has never been identified. Nor it is identifiable. Even a microscope can’t spot it. The secret of its success lies in its unique control over the brains of the entire population of India. It confuses everybody, makes one section of the ruled cut the other’s throat and in the prevailing confusion loots everybody. This rare gem of a Ready Reference is meant to clear this confusion and guide India’s persecuted nationalities to put up a joint fight.

The author is a reputed scholar, writer and journalist of India (formerly of the Indian Express) noted for his original thinking in a country where its entire intellectual class is either confused or corrupted. Editor of the world famous journal, Dalit Voice, noted for its razor-sharp language and prophetic pronouncements, he is also the author of about 100 books.

A fiery speaker and a prolific writer, he was subjected to continuous state persecution which made him a hero in the hearts of India’s persecuted. A marxist-turned Ambedkarite, he is the father of the Dalit-Muslim unity and also the union of the Afro-Americans with India’s Black Untouchables to make them the future world leaders.

Every effort is made to shut his mouth, ban his books, curb his travels (passport impounded from 1996 to 2005) just because he is becoming India’s most militant human rights fighter.
