Curse of Muslims "kills" killer Sharon
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: War-monger Ariel Sharon's era has ended plunging
the illegally established zionist state of Israel once again in
turmoil. He played all sorts of tricks including the much-publicized
Gaza evacuation, quitting his own hawkish Likud Party and forming
the Kadima Party. Nothing worked. And finally the Israeli Prime
Minister is virtually dead.
Muslims all over the world and Arabs in particular, that too the
Palestinians who suffered so much under this world's supreme terrorist,
are rejoicing over the curse of Allah.
History cannot forgive this merciless zionist killer who took
pleasure in drinking Muslim blood. But alas to the Western Christian
ruling class he was a hero. He dictated terms even to President
Bush and his Administration. What a shame the world's sole super
power is led by a puny Israel. This is because the Jews controlled
not only everything in USA but also in the entire Western world
and even some Muslim countries. President Bush was eating out of
the hand of Sharon.
That is the power Sharon enjoyed. But the same mighty Sharon is
today dying. Muslims did not kill him. He killed himself. The Western-sponsored
Mohmoud Abbas, the newly- elected Palestinian President after the
death of Yasser Arafat, is not liked by the revolutionary Palestinians
who are more in favour of Hamas.
As the Palestinian state and Israel are heading for a general
election we can expect no change. There can never be peace in Palestine
unless the zionists accept the Palestinian rightful, internationally
accepted demand.
Kashmir war: The zionists will never, ever accept Palestinian
demand and the Palestinians will never surrender their homeland
to the alien aggressors. That means Israel and Palestinians will
be back to fighting and endless violence.
If the world's longest lasting war in modern history has to end,
the European Union and Russia must step in now that the zionist
killer Sharon is "killed".
Remember, India's Brahminical ruling class, described as the "Jews
of India", are the great admirers of Israel. They started the Kashmir
war, the world's second longest-lasting conflict. Both the wars
are aimed at persecuting Muslims. Once Palestine is restored to
its legitimate owners, Kashmiris will take over Kashmir.

Saudi Arabia officially sanctions Jihad : Thoughts on revolutionary
Islam
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Here is a warning to those elite Muslims and
their organisations in India seeking "Hindu-Muslim unity", trying
to please their masters by denouncing jehad (struggle)
and also telling Hindus that the Quran does not sanction jehad.
In DV and our books we have repudiated these arguments several
times. Yes, some Muslims to be in the good books of the Brahminical
forces go on denouncing jehad and warn their co-religionists that jehad is
never part of Islam and Quran.
Pillar of Islam: Saudi Arabia, the home of the orthodox
Wahabist Islam and from whom most of these Indian Muslim organisations
get their funds, does not subscribe to this thought.
Saudi rulers have set up a giant printing press in Madina where
10 million beautifully printed Qurans are printed every year, in
40 languages and distributed throughout the world.
Saudi Arabia's officially authorised version of Quran fully sanctions
jehad. This Quran is annotated by Wahabist scholars who assert
that jehad is one of the "pillars" of Islam.
Most Muslims recognise five pillars: the profession of faith,
prayer, alms-giving, fasting and pilgrimage.
Duty of every Muslim: "By abandoning jehad, Islam is destroyed",
says a footnote in the Saudi edition of Quran:
"Jehad is an obligatory duty and he who tries to escape
this duty or does not in his innermost heart wish to fulfill this
duty, dies with the qualities of a hypocrite."
That is how Saudi Arabia had its 15 youths in the Sept.11, 2001
WTC attack on America.
World's tallest Muslim: Saudi Muslim scholars say: When
the faith is under threat and your life itself is in danger, you
have no other alternative but to wage a jehad.
That means you have to kill the enemy before he kills you. Killing
for self-defence is fully legal.
That is how Saudi Arabia produced its most famous citizen, Osama
bin Laden, who is rated by the revolutionary Muslims as the world's
tallest Muslim. The entire zionist and Christian world, plus the
Jews of India, shudder before Osama.
Saudi Arabia has exported hundreds of its young jehadists to fight
zionists and Crusaders. They are found in Afghanistan, Chechnya,
Bosnia. And perhaps in Palestine and Iraq also. Their number is
estimated as high as 30,000. The Saudi Govt. itself does generous
funding for jehadist causes.
Curse of Allah: In our book, Curse of Allah (DSA-1997)
we have given the correct meaning of the term jehad (p.8) which
means war against all kinds of oppression (Sura 2:216, 246 and
262).
Moulana Moududi, the founder of the Jamate-Islami, has written
(1927) a book itself in Urdu, Al-Jihad Fil Islam (concept
of jehad in Islam). This book is yet to be translated to
English.
Brother M.M. Khuraishi, an authority on Islam, has an article
in the same DSA book titled: "Islam does not believe in compromise
with enemy: Jehad is the only answer".
Hamas founder on suicide bomb: Sura-9, Article 24 (Sura
Tauba) gives the fitting reply to all those who argue
against Jihad. It says a good Muslim has to sacrifice everything
including his own life to earn the love of Allah. You have
to choose either your property, comfort and relatives or Allah.
To love Allah, you have to sacrifice everything.
Hamas leader Sheikh Yasin (who was killed by the zionists), an
international authority on Islam, has written a book itself on
jehad which is translated to English. He was the founder of the
deadliest "suicide bomber" which paralysed the cowardly zionists
in Israel and Americans in Iraq. The Tamil Tigers took his book
and founded their suicide bomb squad that became world famous.

Fall of George Fernandes
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Here is a warning. Anybody trying to bum-lick
Brahminism may get temporary fame, name and plenty of cash. M.K.
Gandhi is the best and the most famous example of this treachery.
But even the Mahatma was not spared. He was mercilessly shot dead
by the very same people whom he tried to please to become the "Father
of the nation".
Though the Mangalorean Roman Catholic, George Fernandes, cannot
be compared to the Gujarati Bania, he did a lot to promote Brahminism.
The fellow is now repenting and slowly fading away — discarded
by the very serpents to which he poured gallons and gallons of
milk.
Kicked out of JD(U): "George, the giant killer", as he
was once lionised by the Manuwadi media, is today
ignored by this very media — though journalists say he is Delhi's
richest politician. He is being kicked out from one place after
another. Soon he will be out as the president of the JD(U) party
in which he used to play havoc. His greatest crime was to engineer
a split between Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar in Bihar. Today,
even Nitish does not want him after having suffered under George's
dictatorial regime. Sharad Yadav is going to take over as JD (U)
chief. Even the BJP-RSS no longer wants him.
The 76-year-old "Lohia socialist" became a stooge of the Hindu
terrorist party, BJP, and the errand boy of Vaidik Vajpayee who
used him to do all his dirty tricks. Not only he forgot all his
socialism but betrayed his own Christian community when it was
attacked right and left by the Hindu terrorists. Even the Mangalorean
Catholics boycotted him. Such is the disgrace he is facing today.
A living death which we will not wish even to our worst enemy.
Meanwhile, the govt. has started probing his scams committed as
Defence Minister. He is already disgraced along with his Malayali
Nair friend, Jaya Jetly, in the Tehelka exposure. Poor man is today
miserable. He underwent a major surgery. With health failing, deserted
by friends and party men, betrayed by the Brahminical people whom
he bumlicked, George Fernandes cuts a sorry figure. This is a warning
to all those fellows trying to imitate him for quick name and fame.

DV wins : Dalit quota categorisation
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The Dalit Voice demand for "categorisation" of
Dalit reservation appears to be getting Govt. of India's approval,
according to a Times of India report (Jan.12, 2006).
New Delhi: The Centre is considering enactment of a law
which will empower state govts. to divide Dalits into sub-categories
based on how they have benefited under the quota regime. The
move, however, runs the risk of annoying the "elite" among Dalits
and may also lead to political consolidation of subgroups.
The move is inspired by widespread concern about Dalit groups
cornering reservation benefits. It will also seek to get around
the Supreme Court Constitution Bench order last year which held
that state governments did not have the mandate to divide Dalits
into categories on the basis of how they have benefited from
reservations. The top court also ruled that such a move would
be in conflict with the Constitution. The Cabinet Committee on
Political Affairs may take up the matter including the suggestion
that a law be brought to amend the Constitution to empower states
to divide the schedule of castes which faced untouchability.
It is also proposed that the law under consideration be put under
the 9th Schedule to render it immune from legal challenge. (Times
of India, Jan.12, 2006).
This is what DV has been consistently arguing and the Editor's
award-winning book, Caste — A Nation Within the Nation, has said
this in detail. When we complain that Brahmins and other upper
castes as creamy layer among Hindus have knocked off all the benefits,
what right the Dalit creamy layer has to deny the benefits of reservation
to those left behind in the race?

EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE SCHEME BOUND TO FAIL
Waiting to swallow Rs. 30,000 crores ?
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The ever-hungry upper caste stomach is waiting
to swallow the over Rs. 30,000 crore National Rural Employment
Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) — the UPA Govt.'s flagship programme.
We have predicted the failure of this scheme in the DV of Dec.1
2005 editorial itself: "DV extends caste identity to economic
planning".
Our prediction is based on the failure of the Maharashtra Govt.'s
EGS. The following report confirms our statement:-
Big failure
New Delhi: The constitution of a high-level monitoring
mechanism to implement the NREGS by the Prime Minister comes in
the wake of the experience of the Maharashtra Employment Guarantee
Scheme. Over its 30-year existence it has become a synonym for
leakage of public funds to the local bureaucracy and politicians.
The Maharashtra EGS has also not led to any perceptive reduction
in deprivation in rural areas. Incidentally, this has not helped
stall the heavy migration from villages of the state to cities
like Mumbai. (Economic Times, Jan.2, 2006).
In our Editorial, we demanded a switch from the "poverty yardstick" to "caste
yardstick" for better implementation of all development schemes.
We are coming out with a book itself on the subject which has
received wide support from political leaders, agricultural experts,
planners, bureaucrats, Dalit activists, farmer leaders etc.
We suggest DV members to hold seminars on the subject in their
respective areas once the book comes out.

Hated Patnaik Govt. must go
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Orissa with a huge Tribal and Dalit population
is ruled by a very small minority of heartless upper castes (Hindu) — Patnaiks
(Kayasths) and Brahmins. The latest tragedy, the brutal killing
of 12 Tribals in the police firing on Jan.2 at Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur
dt. — is yet another proof of their heartlessness personified in
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Naveen, son of Biju Patnaik, is an American-educated dandy, who
does not even speak his native tongue. But the Patnaiks permanently
rule the most backward east-coast state with the blessings of the
Pandas (Brahmins) controlling the famous Puri Jagannath Temple
(DV Edit Aug.16, 1997: "Editor visits India's biggest mental hospital").
Dalit failure: The Brahmana Jati Party BJP is supporting
the Patnaik's party (Biju Janata Dal) and together they are exploiting
the mineral-rich areas inhabited by the innocent, illiterate, starving
Tribals who are reduced to skeletons. The firing took place as
the Tribals were demanding rehabilitation following their eviction
from their mineral-rich homeland.
Orissa is one of the Dalit Voice strong holds in the country.
The Editor had visited the state twice. Hundreds of our members
have become conscious and alert after getting educated in the DV
philosophy. But why they did not join the Tribal agitation? This
question needs answer.
Tribals are also our brothers. As Orissa is a Tribal-majority
state, their support will be a great asset for the more conscious
Dalits. They should not allow a Brahmin like B.D. Sharma to exploit
the situation. Nor should they leave it to political parties. The
Kalinga Nagar explosion should have been exploited by the DV family
members to bring down the oppressive Naveen Patnaik himself. A
wonderful opportunity was lost.
But more opportunities will come when the Dalits must pounce and
together with Tribals must "hit to kill" the oppressors. The joint
operation with Tribals should begin right way.

People above the Constitution & Supreme Court
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The ruling class of a country sets up institutions
to serve its interests and frames the Constitution to protect those
institutions. That is why the chief draftsman of the Constitution
of India, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, when charged in Parliament itself
that he made the Constitution, became furious and declared that
he would be the first to burn it. The Constitution of India did
so much harm by calling Untouchables Hindu who are not Hindu and
were never Hindu, as per Dr. Ambedkar.
If the Constitution is to be venerated and its criticism is blasphemous,
why then it was amended over 100 times? Every amendment of the
Constitution came after the oppressed Dalit-Bahujans protested
against the Supreme Court decisions and its interpretation of the
Constitution proving that the courts are not on the side of the
oppressed.
The Indian Constitution may look a shade more pro-poor than its
US counterpart. If India's Supreme Court is so kind-hearted, why
this clamour to put reservation in the 9th Schedule?

Shivaji had sex with mother? Book banned
A CORRESPONDENT
Bombay: The police seized 24-copies of James Laine's Epic of Shivaji
from publisher Orient Longman on Jan.10 after the Maharashtra Govt.
banned the book.
This is the second book by the American author banned in the state.
His book, Shivaji: Hindu King in Muslim India, was banned for remarks
against Shivaji and his mother. The second book calls Shivaji an
Oedipal rebel.
Laine said Shivaji had an illicit relationship with his mother.
Epic of Shivaji was published in 2001 before the Shivaji: Hindu
King in Muslim India was banned. (Hindu, Jan.11, 2006)

LETTER TO EDITOR
Lynda Lee Osborne, 1111-Greenhaven Drive, Atlanta - 30317, USA:
I am excited to have come upon the Dalit Voice as I have long been
interested in the struggles of Black people throughout the African
diaspora. I shall thank Brother Runoko Rashidi, who has done extensive
work in the area of African presence in Asia as well as my professor,
Dr. Asa G. Hilliard, for leading me to your website. I am an elementary
school educator here and a masters degree student at Georgia State
University. I am studying in a program concerned with the education
of Black children and combating the injustices that prohibit and
discourage educational excellence for Black children within US
hegemonic paradigm. Recently, I began a quarterly newsletter designed
to explore issues related to the education and preservation of
African peoples and the African worldview. In this we highlight
examples of African-centered institutions as well as programs whose
intent is to educate our children in a way that aids in the liberation
of Black people everywhere across the globe. I would like to know
more about Dalit education within India's current Brahminic paradigm.
Perhaps you may know of some resources that may be helpful in my
research, as I would like to include a piece in my next newsletter
that deals with Dalit education i.e. its historical precursors,
its current status and/or any particularly revolutionary educational
models that specifically serve the cause of Dalit liberation. I
wish Dalit Voice and my sisters and brothers in the struggle great
hope, fierce perserverance, eternal wisdom and the strength of
our ancestors in our push for liberation. We shall not be moved
or conquered. I am greatly disturbed to hear of the worsening condition
of Dalit suffering in India, although I am not surprised at all.
Such is the burden of knowing what I know about racism and its
many global manifestations — within such a paradigm things always
tend to get worse, even when these things are disguised by the
oppressors. Thank you for providing resources for my edification
on Dalit struggles in India. I am also concerned about your disappearing
Black contacts in the US. I can tell you that I am in solidarity
with my people in India that suffer and there are many more people
here who are also in solidarity with the struggles of Black people
in this world. I can assure you, brother, that I shall do all within
my power to use my resources to edify others here about the racism
(casteism) in India. Our struggles are many but we must be unified
to impart change. And the change is coming for the sands of time
are blowing and people have long grown weary of oppression. Our
time is now and our destiny has already been seasoned with victory...
we must all wake up and seize our human birthright to freedom.
I shall seek out your book (Dalit: The Black Untouchables of India)
to learn more. My professor is also going to share some works by
Dr. Ambedkar with me next week. (lyndalee@netscape.com).

Shame on Hindus who oppose reservations Upper caste admirers of
America must learn from US law on reservations A must book for
critics of reservation
DIVERSITY IN AMERICA
Peter H. Schuck (Prof. of Law, Yale University)
As in India, USA too has powerful opponents of its affirmative
action. Yet the policy survived so long because the White Western
American Christian rulers had a heart which the Hindus lacked.
Even political parties, govt. and courts support the reservation
policy to lift its 20% Blacks.
Because it wants to pay for persecuting its Black citizens for
250 years.
But in India our savarna racists persecuted the Untouchables for
thousands of years and yet do not repent even today.
They are turning more and more racist.
India's reservation policy is confined only to education and employment
in govt. sector though its implementation is very poor. But in
US, banks and other lenders must reserve funds in all loans and
financial transactions, housing projects etc.
Yet the US White rulers admit their affirmative policy did not
lift the Blacks to the desired level. But in India the Hindus not
only refuse to implement the constitutional mandate but do everything
to sabotage it.
The court itself is against it.
The author, an authority on the subject, rubbishes the "merit" theory,
which our Hindu critics often advance, and says merit is humbug
(read DSA book Merit, My Foot).
Corporate interests in US have faithfully implemented the affirmative
action. But here the private sector is refusing to accept reservation.
