3% Brahmins ruling W. Bengal suppressing Dalits & Muslims
NANI GOPAL SIKDAR, 8/14-A, R.N. TAGORE ROAD, NABAPALLY, CALCTTA -
700 063
The Left Front Govt. of W.Bengal has completed 30 years in office
and got elected for the 9th time with overwhelming majority. The
reason is simple: the joint electorate system introduced by the “Poona
Pact” (1932) between Gandhi and Babasaheb Ambedkar. Manuwadis are
ruling the state with the help of SC/ST because of this Pact.
Elections were held for 294 seats in which the Left Front (comprising
CPM, CPI, FB and RSP etc.) have won with overwhelming majority.
The Election Commission gave a clean chit to the conduct of election.
In WB, 75 seats are reserved for SC and 17 for ST. The rest (219
seats) are unreserved. A careful examination of the elected MLAs
proves all the castes are not represented. That brings me to the
WB’s population composition.
The total population is 6,80,77,965 of which Hindu-5,08,66,624
and Muslim-1,60,75,836.
Except SC/ST, there is no caste-wise census in India. Of the total
population, 23.6% is SC, 23.6% Muslim and 5.59% ST.
In 1931, the total population of undivided Bengal was 5,01,14,002
of which Hindu 2,15,70,407; Muslims 2,74,97,624; upper caste-31,16,905
of which Brahmin 14,47,691; Baidya -1,10,739 and Kayasth 15,59,475.
The three upper castes were only 6.2%.
That means a mere 6.2% people are ruling this state.
If we look into the list of MLAs of WB you will find only two
castes are ruling the state. There are 44 Brahmins of which 11
Mukherjis, 9 Chakrabortys, 8 Bhattacharyas, 2 Gangulys. They form
20% of the unreserved seats.
All 11 Mukherjees are CPM. Of the Chakrabortys, 2 FB and one Congress,
the other 6 are CPM. Of the 8 Bhattacharys, 6 CPM, one FB and only
one Trinamul Congress (of Mamata Banerji). There are 7 Bannerjees,
all in Trinamul, CPM, Congress and independent. Apart from 44 Brahmins,
there are 21 more Brahmins (with different surnames). You will
therefore find that 64 Brahmins have made a “revolution”.
Of these, 39 are CPM (60%). The Left Front has a total of 53 Brahmins.
Thus 82.2% of the representatives are with the ruling Left Front.
Now there are 233 MLAs with the ruling front. If SC/ST are excluded,
29.2% of the unreserved seats are in the control of Brahmins.
Of 33 cabinet ministers, 16 and out of 11 Ministers of State two
are Brahmins: 48% Cabinet Ministers and 18% Ministers of State.
The state’s 2.8% Brahmins having 40.91% positions in
the state cabinet.
Apart from the upper castes, 40% MLAs are Muslims. Of them three
are cabinet ministers and 2 are Ministers of State. Though Muslims
are 23.6% they have only 18% share.
No ST MLA is given the cabinet post.

In the govt. led by Jyoti Basu there was no OBC Minister. But
of SC 23.66%, ST 5.59%, Muslim 23.6%, Brahmin and other upper caste
6.2%. That leaves 41.9%. Who are they? What is the role of Kaivarta,
Mahishya, Goalths etc? What is the position of Navsakh communities
like Barui, Kamar, Kumar, Malkar, Karari, Kuri, Madhupani, Saldan
etc? Upper castes get irrigated when you talk of of caste, but
they do not think over how 69% of cabinet posts they have captured.
Though forming just 2.8% of the total population, how could the
Brahmins capture 28.8% of MLA seats and 40.9% of cabinet posts?
Because of the joint electorate, W. Bengal and the rest of India
has Brahminical rule. That is how 75 SC and 17 ST MLAs of WB are
nominated and elected by the political parties but not by the people.
Upper caste parties nominate loyal Dalits to reserve seats and
get them elected. The WB Govt. is making merry with the help of
these Bahujans. All this proves that SC/ST people are helping the Manuwadis to
run the Govt. of WB and also the UPA-led Central Govt.
Khairlanji must help eliminate corrupt Dalit leadership
BHIMRAO GANVIR, 196/421 - BHIMASHA, AT/PO RANALA, KAMPTI TQ., NAGPUR
DT. - 441 002
The ghastly murder of four Dalits at Khairlanji on Sept.29, 2006
is shaking Maharashtra and churning the Dalit movement itself.
Now, 42 are under arrest. CBI inquiry started only because of the
mass agitation in Nagpur, Amaravati, Satara, Bombay and throughout
Maharashtra. Jogendra Kawade has resigned his Rajya Sabha seat
as a protest.
*****
Maratha-Kunbi hate Brahmins but love Brahminism
Khairlanji took precious lives of our innocent people but
it also helped convince Dalits that the Hindus will never, ever
change. When the Marathas under the leadership of Purushottam
Khedekar launched their war against Brahmins following the publication
of a Brahmin-inspired book from Pune’s Bhandarkar Institute
(BORI) insulting the great Maratha hero, Shivaji, DV lent full
support. We addressed meetings with Khedekar and even brought
out a reprint of Khedekar’s speech with our foreword (Marathas
Declare War on Brahminism, DSA-2005, Rs.
5). But the same Maratha-Kunbi leadership is today silent on
Khairlanji. This proves the Marathas are angry only with Brahmins
but not with Brahminism.
They do not support Dalits who are the worst victims of
Brahminism. That is why we have repeatedly said that mere anti-Brahmin
movement will take us nowhere. It has to be anti-Brahminism.
The Khairlanji bloodbath engineered by the Kunbis proves that
they only hate Brahmins but love Brahminism.
Meanwhile, we call upon the revolutionary sections among Dalits
in Maharashtra not to allow the Khairlanji fire to cool down.
Keep the pot boiling so that the corrupt elements in the Congress,
RPI and all other Dalit organisations are eliminated and replaced
by honest, revolutionary leadership. Dalit Voice will
be too glad to sharpen such a contradiction — EDITOR.
WARNING TO SYRIAN CHRISTIANS
How to liberate Kerala from upper caste imperialism ?
V.T. RAJSHEKAR
I thank you for inviting me all the way from Bangalore to inaugurate
your conference on reservation.
I am happy to learn that almost all the important state-level
Dalit organisations of Kerala have joined hands to organise this
conference, which I am told is a landmark event in the history
your state.
We have to thank our Hindu oppressors for giving this opportunity
for us to unite and fight them unitedly.
VARNA YUDHA BEGINS
We request the Hindus, the savarnas, to give us more
and more such opportunities to unite and put up a joint struggle
against our enemy-oppressor.
What is going on today is a varna yudha (caste war). This
war is between the savarnas and the avarnas.
We must welcome such a war. The Hindus are misinterpreting the
word “reservation”. Reservation actually means representation.
We are seeking and fighting for our representation — in
proportion to our population.
In the Supreme Court today there is only one Dalit judge, Justice
Balakrishnan from Kerala who is taking over as the Chief Justice
in the middle of January.
All other judges are savarnas, upper castes, our oppressors.
Even after 60 years of “independence” these savarna serpents
have not given up their poison.
If we ask for our adequate representation in the governance of
the country in proportion to our population, we are perfectly justified.
It is a democratic demand. The Constitution given to us by Dr.
Babasaheb Ambedkar defends our demand.
MERIT, MY FOOT
These upper caste Brahminical people are saying we Dalits have
no “merit”. I have written a book itself on this subject
(Merit - My Foot, DSA-2007). This book has gone into three
reprints and was extensively quoted in a Supreme Court judgment
itself.
What is this great “merit” the upper caste merit-mongers
are talking about? These “merited” people could not
manufacture even a simple shaving blade to this day. I am using
the Gillette blade made in England. (laughter). These
15% micro-minority upper castes are themselves using all imported
things: foreign cars, foreign handkerchief, foreign perfume, foreign
whisky and even foreign wife. (laughter). And yet they
tell us that we have no merit.
I call it Merit — My foot.
This upper caste Brahminical “merit” is taking this
country from the Third World to the Fourth World.
Nothing is made in India. Our cars are made here with foreign
technology including the Maruti car from Japan. Even the Tata’s
Indica and Indigo are not fully indigenous.
Except their bullshit Ramayana, Mahabharata, Manu
Smriti and the Bhagavad Gita, these Hindus have
not produced even a single wholly indigenous thing.
To hell with their merit.
BULLOCK CART
Sorry, there is one exception to the rule. That is our bullock
cart — which again is the invention of the country’s
Bahujans.
The bullock cart is not the invention of the Aryan - savarnas.
It is our invention. (laughter).
The Hindus sitting here may take note of this and contradict me
if am wrong. Please note, these “merited” Brahminical
people are the country’s laziest lots. Every thing is produced
by our people. But they simply sit, eat, drink, sleep and indulge
in sex, sports, murder and gambling and worship their gods which
in fact are their servants. They are good only in making fun of
us. These Brahminical people, a mere 15% of the population, have
destroyed this beautiful country of Budha, Phule, Sri Narayana
Guru, Ayyankali. (cheers).
We have to convert this “reservation war”, we called
it varna yudha, to discipline the lazy savarnas and
warn them.
Do you know these savarnas or Hindus are foreigners?
They don’t belong to India. That is why they don’t
love India.
The Supreme Court has been going all-out to support the Brahminical
people. It is going against the country’s elected representatives
in Parliament. It is even going against the constitution prepared
by the “Father of India”, Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Do you know that the Supreme Court cannot make laws? The law-makers
are our MPs and MLAs.
SUPREME COURT WARNED
The Supreme Court can only interprete the constitution. It can’t
write the constitution. But our Supreme Court and the High Courts
are going beyond their powers. They must be cut to size.
What do the judges of the Supreme Court think of themselves?
I am warning the Supreme Court. Supreme Court is not supreme.
(loud cheers).
The people are supreme. We are the people. If the Supreme Court
goes against the people, we will ask the Parliament to discipline
the Supreme Court.
Justice Balakrishnan must go into this subject. That will be his
first job as the country’s first Dalit Chief Justice. We
have high hopes in him. He cannot disappoint us.
“POONA PACT”
Kerala must be proud because he is the son of Kerala. I learn
he comes from a village about 50 miles away. Son of a poor Untouchable.
The Supreme Court is protecting the micro-minority Hindus. This
is because the Supreme Court does not know the philosophy behind
the reservations.
During the British rule the country was divided into three important
sections: Hindus, Muslims, Dalits.
On Aug.15, 1947, the Brahminical people became the rulers of India.
The Muslims got their homeland in Pakistan. The third important
section, namely the Untouchables, got their reservations, which
are our human rights. It is the result of the “Poona Pact” signed
in 1932.
Does the Supreme Court know this Supreme Truth? This Constitutional
Truth that reservation is our human rights which we inherited when
India became “independent”?
Did these judges read the “Poona Pact”? This Pact
between the “nation of Hindus” and the “nation
of Untouchables”?
No power on earth has the right to undo the facts of history.
If the Supreme Court interferes with history and tries to snatch
our human rights, we have to wage a war against the Supreme Court
also. Supreme Court is warned. Please don’t tamper with
the lives of the people who form a third of this country’s
population. (cheers).
KERALA CASTE COMPOSITION
And in this war the entire Parliament and all other elected representatives
will be with us.
The Supreme Court is warned.
So the Varna Yudha has begun. We are ready for this Yudha.
Are the cowardly Hindus, the grass-eating papans, ready
to fight with our beef-eating people with steel muscle?
Are you ready? (loud cheers).
Having said this much on reservations, I have to speak something
on Kerala and its peculiar and also wonderful caste composition
to teach a lesson to the savarnas of Kerala.
Before going into the subject, it is very essential to understand
the caste statistics of Kerala which the mere 18% savarnas are
controlling and making us dance like monkeys.
All of you are very familiar with the caste statistics. Yet it
is my duty to repeat them. Correct me if I am wrong. These statistics
are becoming more and more important as every caste is strengthening
its identity to make its presence felt in politics which
is becoming totally caste-based.
The following is the caste statistics which you may take down
for further discussion later.

A simple glance at the caste statistics will convince how easy
it is to finish the Brahminical people of Kerala who come to
a micro-minority of mere 12%.
Nobody will give you these caste statistics also and place before
you this interpretative analysis. Because they are explosive.
WARNING TO SYRIAN CHRISTIANS
These caste statistics are like atom bombs which if handled properly
will simply explode and finish the Brahminical people who are just
18% of the Kerala population.
I will give you the details. The figures may be slightly this
way or that way. But by and large my figures are fairly accurate.
Out of the 25% Christians of Kerala, Latin Catholics are 6%.
Dalit Christians 10% and Nadar Christians 2%.
Out of these, Dalit Christians, Latin Catholics and Nadar Christians
are oppressed people.
They will never go with Syrian Christians because all these three
sections say they are exploited by the Syrians. They will come
with us. They are our people.
That leaves the mere 7% Syrian Christians who— forgetting
their noble Christian mission, directives of their Holy Bible
and the sufferings and the sacrifices of their great Jesus Christ
for the oppressed— are going with our savarna oppressors.
Does their Bible tell them to go with the exploiters or the exploited?
Syrian Christians sitting here may take note. (cheers).
Can such a people who have forgotten their mission, their Bible
and their Jesus Christ be called Christians? (more cheers).
GREAT ROLE OF CHRISTIANS
Christians had civilized Kerala. We admit this fact. If today’s
Kerala is the country’s most advanced state it is because
of Christians.
They have forgotten all this and the services of their great ancestors
and today they are going with our oppressors.
Christianity came to Kerala to liberate the oppressed.
But today the owners of Christianity, meaning the Syrians,
have themselves become oppressors. This is one of the greatest
tragedies of history.
THREE OPPRESSORS OF KERALA
The Syrians have forgotten the Christian theology and they have
manufactured their own “Syrian theology”.
We are sorry to tell them that if they don’t quickly correct
themselves they will come to grief soon.
In Kerala, wherever we go we hear complaints only against three
sections: Nairs, Brahmins and Syrians.
The Nairs are 8%, Brahmins 2%, Syrians 7%: Total 17%.
That means the exploiters, our oppressors, are a mere 17%. In
this 17%, certainly there are some right thinking, kind hearted
people. What can this mere 17% micro-minority do against the formidable
83%?
The other three communities are: Muslims 25%, Ezhavas 30%, OBCs
3%.
TWO BIG NATAK COMPANIES
That is why these 17% micro-minority Nairs, Brahmins and Syrians
have formed their two big natak companies called LDF and
UDF. Both these “Fs” are two sides of the same coin.
(laughter).
If one is defeated, the other will come to power. But the defeat
of one “F” does not mean the defeat of Nairs, Brahmins
and Syrians.
These three oppressors (Brahmins, Nairs, Syrians) are controlling
both the “Fs”. Unless you throw both the “Fs” into
the Arabian Sea, we cannot get liberation. (loud cheers).
What then is the solution?
PROBLEM WITH EZHAVAS
It is possible to defeat this micro-minority of Syrians, Nairs
and Brahmins if the Ezhavas and Dalits — these two communities — join
hands immediately.
Once the two come together the Muslims will join immediately.
Dalit Christians, Latins, Nadar Christians, Adivasis will follow.
The unity of all oppressed becomes the Bahujan Samaj of Budha.
I have discussed this formula with the top experts among Muslims,
Dalits and Ezhavas in Kerala.
My close friend, Janab Abdul Nasser Madani, was given this formula
long ago. For your information it was I who inaugurated his party
at Calicut.
Why both the LDF and UDF are against him and keeping him in the
jail? It is because he is trying to implement the above formula.
Muslims are ready, Dalits are also ready to accept this formula.
The only problem is with the Ezhava leadership.
I don’t see any problem from the masses of Ezhavas. They
are also ready.
Brother M.S. Jayaprakash, the topmost Ezhava intellectual, is
sitting here on the stage. He has endorsed our line of approach.
Ezhavas must become proud of their caste and their guru. They
must cast their vote to their caste.
E.M.S. COUNTER REVOLUTION
I will repeat: Vote for your caste. This rule applies to all castes
and communities.
Kerala was about to see such a revolution of the oppressed castes — Ezhavas,
Dalits, Muslims.
Fearing such a unity of the oppressed it was E.M.S. Namboodidipad,
the “Modern Shankara” and the notorious Brahmin
marxist leader, who launched a counter-revolution. He criticised
all caste movements, particularly of the powerful Ezhavas who formed
the single largest group comprising 30% of the population. His
counter-revolution made the Ezhavas, Dalits and all other oppressed jatis to
hate their own jati.
Kerala would have seen a powerful cultural revolution long back
but EMS killed it with the help of the Brahminical media which
projected him as a great revolutionary. He destroyed all caste-based
movements but strengthened Nairs and his Brahmin jati and
made them lead the marxist movement which came as a curse to all
the oppressed jatis.
Our people—the oppressed Ezhavas, Dalits, Muslims —must
get out of the marxist parties and strengthen their respective jatis.
Once such a powerful combination of all the Bahujan castes takes
shape, there is no need for us to fight the three oppressor castes —namely
Nairs, Brahmins and Syrians. They will catch the first flight to
America and run away. (laughter).
They are cowards. They dare not fight us. We have the courage
and a body of steel.
And both the LDF and the UDF — the two “Fs”— will
fall like a pack of cards when we the avarnas unite.
Kerala will be liberated. (cheers).
My simple formula for the liberation of Kerala from savarna fascism
may not be liked by those Dalits with political ambition. Particularly
those Dalits imprisoned in savarna naxalite parties.
Thank you for your patient hearing. But don’t forget the
caste statistics. Write these figures on the walls of your houses.
Teach it to your children.
Bring out pamphlets in Malayalam on the “liberation formula” which
I placed before you.
With great pleasure I inaugurate the seminar and launch the Varna
Yudha. We will win. Thank you, Jai Bhim.

BOOK REVIEW: “DEVELOPMENT REDEFINED”
Dalits need cultural empowerment
DR. BHARAT JHUNJHUNWALA, LAKSHMOLI, PO MALETHA VIA KIRTI NAGAR, TEHRI
GARHWAL - 249 161
Many schemes have been launched by the government for the welfare
of Dalits since “Independence”. The Community Development
Scheme of the 50s, Garibi Hatao of the 70s and Employment
Guarantee of the present time were all designed to do this. But
the Editor of Dalit Voice, V. T. Rajshekar, says in his
recent book, Development Redefined, that the real objective
of these schemes is to strengthen the upper castes and make rich
richer since the village power structure remains skewed in favour
of the rich under these poverty alleviation schemes. On the Employment
Guarantee Scheme, he says it is destined to fail like its
Maharashtra predecessor because the poor Dalits lack the mental
capacity to benefit from such schemes:
“A culturally deprived person cannot make use of an economic
scheme brought to his doorstep for his benefit. A dog that has
been starving for many days will only start vomiting if given a
heavy meal. This is the case with today’s Dalits. They are
like that starving dog. The caste system has made them a no-people.
If government pours money on removing their poverty, it will be
like pouring water on the Sahara Desert.”
Little attention is paid to social and cultural empowerment of
Dalits and hence they remain backward, says he. Efforts must be
first made to culturally empower the Dalits and raise their mental
capacity to benefit from such schemes. Economic welfare of the
Dalits cannot be secured without their cultural uplift. Rajshekar
is right. A Dalit cannot benefit from easy loan from the bank if
he lacks the capacity to buy a buffalo and sell the milk. A concept
in economics is of “absorptive capacity”. An internet
café is not successful in a village because the village
does not have the capacity to absorb such a facility. A small town
cannot absorb an airport. A doctor prescribes drugs according to
the body weight of the patient. Similarly, economic schemes must
be made keeping the capacity of the Dalit beneficiary in mind.
The Dalits are pushed into greater debt and misery by ‘development’ since
this is not taking care of just as a heavy dose of drugs causes
harm to a young patient. Dalits take loans for purchasing a buffalo
but spend the money in buying liquor or purchasing a motor cycle
since they do not have the mental capacity to do business. They
are thus pushed deeper into the pit of indebtedness and poverty,
courtesy ‘development’.
Rajshekar gives the example of the BJP which, he says, focuses
entirely on social, cultural and religious issues. Are the bosses
of the BJP fools to ignore economic programmes and concentrate
only on Babri Masjid, cow slaughter, astrology, religious conversion,
promotion of Sanskrit language, etc., he asks. The BJP knows
well that India’s problem is not economic but social and
cultural, he says. Likewise he says focus of Dalit empowerment
should be on social and cultural side. The point is well taken.
The question is how this is to be done?
Caste history: It is necessary to raise the self-esteem
of Dalits through glorification of their caste history. The recruits
to the army are taken to ‘Motivation Centres’ where
they are shown photographs of past victories of their Regiment
and artefacts associated with it such as rifles and dresses. The
new recruits develop a sense of pride in the attainment of their
regiment. It is seen that Dalits establish statues of Dr Ambedkar
holding the Constitution in one hand. They pride themselves on
having produced such a great person amidst them. Likewise they
should be told about the glories of attainments of their caste
and sub-caste. The Maharashtra Govt. has published the collected
works of Dr. Ambedkar. Similar publications of the attainments
of the many subcastes should be undertaken.
Many Dalits have reached positions of eminence like Dr. Ambedkar. There
are many such professors, doctors and lawyers among Dalits whose
attainments should be highlighted and publicized. The Government
honours NRIs and PIOs during the Pravasi Sammelan every
year. Special efforts must be made to honour Dalit achievers here.
These measures will create self-confidence among the Dalits that
they can reach such positions.
Reservations failed: Rajshekar writes:
“The upper castes are socially and culturally rich people.
They know who they are. They know the purpose of life. They have
their religions, mutts, temples, scriptures, textbooks, clubs,
media, housing colonies and banks to empower and entertain them.”
There is a need to similarly create institutions for the Dalits.
This writer had an occasion to visit some forest areas of Udaipur
in Rajasthan. The Adivasis had their system of worship. There was
a Bhagat in the village. He kept a dhuni burning
day and night. They had their idols. They have their scriptures
in the form of folk sayings and songs. These can be collected and
published.
The Prime Minister and President of the country routinely visit
Wardha and pay respects at M.K. Gandhi’s hut. They can similarly
pay obeisance to Adivasi Bhagat. The folk sayings of Dalits and
Adivasis can be collated and published. Projects can be made to
write critique of the texts of other religions from the Dalit standpoint.
Debates can be organized between priests of various religions and
Bhagats. This will help both Dalits and upper castes to understand
each other and also help develop self-esteem among them.
It is time for the country to take stock of the situation. Reservations,
land reforms and concessional finance have improved the lot of
a small section of Dalits while majority continue to feel helpless
and remain outside the development circuit. Schemes made for the
economic empowerment of weaker sections are routinely appropriated
by the local power structures. It is necessary to complement economic-
with cultural empowerment for this to succeed.
A mere 2% Jews hold neck of USA forcing war on Muslims
PROF. JAMES PETRAS
Introduction: Many Jewish writers, including those who
are somewhat critical of Israel, have raised pointed questions
about our critique of the zionist power configuration (ZPC) in
America and what they wrongly claim are our singular harsh critique
of Israel. Some of these accusers claim to see signs of ‘latent
anti-semitism’, others, of a more ‘leftist’ coloration,
deny the influential role of the ZPC arguing that US foreign policy
is a product of ‘geo-politics or the interests of Big Oil.
With the recent publication of several widely circulated texts,
highly critical of the power of the zionist ‘lobby’,
several liberal pro-Israel publicists generously conceded that
it is a topic that should be debated (and not automatically stigmatized
and dismissed) and perhaps be ‘taken into account.’
The main claims of ZPC deniers take several tacks: Some claim
that the ZPC is just ‘another lobby’ like the Chamber
of Commerce, the Sierra Club or the Society for the Protection
of Goldfish. Others claim that by focusing mainly on Israel and
by inference the ‘Lobby’, the critics of zionism ignore
the equally violent abuses of rulers, regimes and states elsewhere.
This ‘exclusive focus’ on Israel, they argue, reveals
a latent or overt anti-semitism. They propose that human rights
advocates condemn all human rights abusers everywhere (at the same
time and with the same emphasis?). Others still argue that Israel
is a democracy – at least outside of the Occupied Territories
(OT) – and therefore is not as condemnable as other human
rights violators and should be ‘credited’ for its civic
virtues along with its human rights failings. Finally, others still
claim that, because of the holocaust and ‘History of 2, 000
years of persecution’, criticism of Jewish-funded and led
pro-Israel lobbies should be handled with great prudence, making
it clear that one criticizes only specific abuses, investigates
all charges – especially those from Arab/Palestinian/United
Nations/European/Human Rights sources — and recognizes that
Israeli public opinion, the press and even the courts or sectors
of them may also be critical of regime policies.
These objections to treating the Israeli-Palestinian-Arab conflict
and the activities of zionist lobbies as central to peace and
war serve to dilute, dissipate and deflate criticism and organized
political activity directed at the ZPC and its directors in Israel.
The response of the critics of Israel and the ZPC to these attacks
has been weak at best and cowardly at worst. Some critics have
responded that their criticism is only directed toward a specific
policy or leader, or to Israeli policies in the OT and that they
recognize Israel is a democracy, that it requires secure borders,
and that it is in the interests of the Israeli ‘people’ to
lower their security barriers. Others argue that their criticism
is directed at securing Israeli interests, influencing the zionist
lobby or to opening a debate. They claim that the views of ‘most’ Jews’ in
the US are not represented by the 52 organizations that make up
the Presidents of the Major American Jewish Organizations (MAJO),
or the thousands of PACs, local federations, professional associations
and weekly publications which speak with one voice as unconditional
supporters of every twist and turn in the policy of the zionist
state.
There are numerous similar lines of criticism, which basically
avoid the fundamental issues raised by the Israeli state and the
ZPC, and which we are obliged to address.
The reason that criticism and action directed against Israel
and the ZPC is of central importance today in any discussion
of US foreign policy, especially (but not exclusively) of Middle
East policy and US domestic policy making is that they play a
decisive role and have a world-historic impact on the present
and future of world peace and social justice.
We turn now to examine the ‘big questions’ facing
Americans as a result of the power of Israel in the US.
U.S. HAS NO FREEDOM OF PRESS
Critical study of the lead up to the US invasion of Iraq, US involvement
in providing arms to Israel prior to, during and after Israel’s
abortive invasion of Lebanon, US backing of the starvation blockade
of the Palestinian people and the White House and Congress’ demands
for sanctions and war against Iran are directly linked to Israeli
state policy and its zionist policy-makers in the executive branch
and US Congress. One needs to look no further than the documents,
testimony and reports of AIPAC and the presidents of the MAJO to
observe their claims of success in authoring legislation, providing
(falsified) intelligence, engaging in espionage (AIPAC) and turning
documents over to Israeli intelligence (now dubbed ‘free
speech’ by liberal zionists).
If, as the overwhelming evidence indicates, the ZPC played a major
role in the major wars of our time, wars capable of igniting new
armed conflicts, then it ill behoves us to dilute the role of the
zionist/Jewish lobby in promoting future US wars. Given Israel’s
militarist-theocratic approach to territorial aggrandizement and
its announced plans for future wars with Iran and Syria, and given
the fact that the ZPC acts as an unquestioning and highly disciplined
transmission belt for Israel, then US citizens opposed to present
and future US engagement in Middle East wars must confront the
ZPC and its Israeli mentors. Moreover, given the extended links
among the Islamic nations, the Israel/ZPC proposed ‘new wars’ with
Iran will result in global wars. Hence what is at stake in confronting
the ZPC are questions which go beyond the Israeli-Palestine peace
process, or even regional Middle East conflicts: it involves the
big question of world peace or war.
Without the bluster and public hearings of former Senator Joseph
McCarthy, the Jewish Lobby has systematically undermined the principal
pillars of our fragile democracy.
While the US Congress, media, academics, retired military and
public figures are free to criticize the President, any criticism
of Israel, much less the Jewish Lobby, is met with vicious attacks
in all the op-ed pages of major newspapers by an army of pro-Israeli ‘expert’ propagandists,
demands for firings, purges and expulsions of the critics from
their positions or denial of promotions or new appointments.
In the face of any prominent critic calling into question the
Lobby’s role in shaping US policy to suit Israel’s
interests, the entire apparatus (from local Jewish federations,
AIPAC, the MAJO etc) go into action – smearing, insulting
and stigmatizing the critics as ‘anti-semites’.
By denying free speech and public debate through campaigns
of calumny and real and threatened repercussions the Jewish Lobby
has denied Americans one of their more basic freedoms and constitutional
rights.
JEWS FUNDED DEMOCRATIC PARTY VICTORY
The takeover of Democratic campaign finance by two ultra-zionist
zealots—Senator Charles Schumer and Israeli-American Congressman
Rahm Emanuel— ensured that every candidate was totally subordinated
to the Lobby’s unconditional support of Israel. The result
is that there is no Congressional debate, let alone investigation,
over the key role of prominent zionists in the Pentagon involved
in fabricating reports on Iraq’s “weapons of mass
destruction”, and in designing and executing the war and
the disastrous occupation policy. The Lobby’s ideologues
posing as Middle East ‘experts’ dominate the op-ed
and editorial pages of all the major newspapers (Wall Street
Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post)
and all major TV networks (CBS, NBC,ABC, Fox, and CNN) and their
radio affiliates. The Lobby has played a prominent role in supporting
and implementing highly repressive legislation like the Patriot
Act and the Military Commission Act as well as modifying anti-corruption
legislation to allow the Lobby to finance congressional ‘educational’ junkets
to Israel.
HOMELAND SECURITY CHIEF IS ZIONIST
The head of Homeland Security with its over 150,000 functionaries
and multi-billion dollar budget is none other than zionist fanatic
Michael Chertoff.
The biggest threat to democracy in its fullest sense of the word — the
right to debate, to elect, to legislate free of coercion — is
found in the organized efforts of the zionist lobby, to repress
public debate, control candidate selection and campaigning, direct
repressive legislation and security agencies against electoral
constituencies opposing the lobby’s agenda for Israel. No
other lobby or political action group has as much sustained and
direct influence over the political process — including the
media, congressional debate and voting, candidate selection and
financing of congressional allocation of foreign aid and Middle
East agendas as the organized ZPC and its indirect spokes-people
heading key Congressional positions. A first step toward reversing
the erosion of our democratic freedoms is recognizing and publicly
exposing the ZPC’s nefarious organizational and financial
activities and moving forward toward neutralizing their efforts.
CONTROL ON U.S. FOREIGN POLICY
Intimately and directly related to the loss of democratic freedoms
and a direct consequence of the Jewish lobby’s influence
over the political process is the making of US Middle East policy
and who benefits from it. The entire political effort of the lobby
(its spending, ethnic baiting, censorship and travel junkets) is
directed toward controlling US foreign policy and, through US power,
to influence the policy of US allies, clients and adversaries in
Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The recently victorious Congressional Democrats repudiate their
electorate and follow the advice and dictates of the pro-Zionist
leadership (Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Rahm Emmanuel, Stephan Israel
and others) by backing an escalation of troops and an increase
in military spending for the war in Iraq.
Bush follows the war policy against Iran proposed by the zionists
in the American Enterprise Institute, repudiating the diplomatic
proposals of the bi-partisan Baker Commission.
No other organized political action group or public relations
firm acting on behalf of the Cuban and Venezuelan exiles or Arab,
African, Chinese or European Union states comes remotely near the
influence of the zionist lobby in shaping US policy to serve the
interest of Israel.
While the Lobby speaks for less than 2% of the US electorate,
its influence on foreign policy far exceeds the great majority
who have neither comparable organizational nor financial muscle
to impose their views.
Never in the history of the US republic or empire has a powerful
but tiny minority been able to wield so much influence in using
out nation’s military and economic power and diplomatic arm-twisting
in the service of a foreign government.
RUSSIAN JEWS
The question of the power of the lobby over US policies of war
or peace, authoritarianism or democracy and over who defines the
interests served by US foreign policy obviously go far beyond the
politics of the Middle East, the Israeli-colonial land grabs in
Palestine and even the savage occupation of Iraq. The playing out
of zionist influence over the greatest military power in the world,
with the most far-reaching set of client states, military bases,
deadly weapons and decisive voice in international bodies (IMF/World
Bank/United Nations Security Council) means that the Lobby has
a means to leverage its reach in most regions of the world. This
leverage power extends over a range of issues, from defending the
fortunes of murderous Russian-Jewish gangster oligarchs, to bludgeoning
European allies of the US to complicity with Israel’s ethnic
cleansing of Palestine.
JEWISH THREAT TO U.S. SOVEREIGNTY
The ZPC represents a basic threat to our existence as a sovereign
state and our ability to influence whom we elect and what agendas
and interests our representatives will pursue. Even worse, by serving
Israeli interests, we are becoming complicity with a state whose
Supreme Court legalizes political assassinations across national
boundaries, torture, systematic violations of international law
and a regime which repudiates UN resolutions and unilaterally invades
and bombs its neighbors and practices military colonist expansionism.
In a word Israel resonates and feeds into the most retrograde tendencies
and brutal practices of contemporary American politics. In this
sense the lobby through its media, Congressional influence and
think-tanks is creating an Israeli look-alike. Like Israel, the
US has established its own Pentagon assassination teams; like Israel,
it invades and colonizes Iraq; like Israel, it violates and rejects
any constitutional or international legal restraints and systematically
tortures accused but untried prisoners.
FORCING WAR ON IRAN
Because of these fundamental considerations, we cannot oblige
our Jewish ‘progressive’ colleagues and compatriots
and refrain from confronting the zionist lobby with force and urgency.
Too many of our freedoms are at stake; too little time is left
before they succeed in securing a greater military escalation;
too little of our sovereignty remains in the face of the concerted
effort by the lobby and its Middle Eastern ‘expert-ideologues’ to
push and shove us into a new and more devastating war with Iran
at the behest of Israel’s pursuit of Middle East dominance.
No other country, abuser or not, of human rights, with or without
electoral systems, has the influence over our domestic and foreign
policy as does the state of Israel.
No other lobby has the kind of financial power and organizational
reach as the Jewish lobby in eroding our domestic political freedoms
or our war-making powers. For those reasons alone, it stands to
reason, that we American have a necessity to put our fight against
Israel and its lobby at the very top of our political agenda. It
is not because Israel has the worst human rights agenda in the
world – other states have even worst democratic credentials – but
because of its role in promoting its US supporters to degrade our
democratic principles, robbing us of our freedom to debate and
our sovereignty to decide our own interests. The lobby puts the
military and budgetary resources of the Empire at the service of
Greater Israel – and that results in the worst human rights
in the world.
Democratic, just and peaceful responses to the big questions that
face Americans, Europeans, Muslims, Jews and other peoples of the
world passes through the defeat and dismantlement of the Israeli-directed
ZPC in America. Nothing less will allow us to engage in an open
debate on the alternatives to repression at home and imperialism
abroad.

Need to study zionism
Some DV family members may be wondering why we are “overdoing” with
Jews. We had answered this question in our monograph, Brahminism
in India & Zionism in West (DSA 2006, Rs. 25). The zionists
are the sole cause of the world’s longest lasting war on
Palestine and the entire Middle East conflagration. America,
its entire Christian citizens and President Bush are nose-led
by Jews. Saddam Hussein was hanged because he resisted the zionists
whose blood brothers are strangulating us in India. Hence the
need to criticise Israel, the zionist lobby by making an indepth
study of the problem — EDITOR.

The “Jews of India” and the little known
horrors of their Holocaust
V.T. RAJSHEKAR
Abstract of the paper sent to Iranian Govt.-sponsored international
conference on
Holocaust at Tehran in Dec. 11, 2006.
1. The world knows a lot about the Holocaust, though it
is very much exaggerated if not a bundle of lies. But what the
world does not know is about the more deadly and the more ancient
3,000-year-old Holocaust created by the “Jews of India” who
have kept it a top secret buried under mountains of lies called
Gandhian non-violence, justice and truth.
2. As representative of the slaves of India, called the
Black Untouchables forming 20% of its 1,200 million population,
and the worst victims of its religion called Hinduism, we want
to reveal some best kept secrets of the “Jews of India.
3. India is ruled by Brahmins who are just 3% of its population.
Similarly, America is controlled by its 3% Jews. Both the Jews
and Brahmins ethnically belong to the same stock, originated from
the same area in Middle East and both have the same genetic characteristics.
That is why we called them the “Jews of India”.
4. The world knows nothing of this most horrendous and
the longest lasting humanitarian disaster they created in India.
History says the Brahmins came to India over 3,000 years ago, destroyed
our glorious Indus Valley Civilisation, then killed Budhism and
systematically enslaved the indigenous people. Ever since they
entered India, they have been ruling us, perpetrating the worst
kind of violence against its people. So much so India is struggling
as a Third World country even after 60 years of “independence”.
5. The world’s most populous country after China
has become the tail of America, by systematically fighting and
killing Muslims (20%), Christians (2.5%) and Sikhs and persecuting
its Untouchables, Tribals and Backward Castes — thereby converting
India into the world’s most violent country.
6. Surprisingly all these crimes of the “Jews of
India” are totally suppressed by the media they control and
their religion of Hinduism, the other name for Brahminism, which
itself acts as opium to drug the suffering victims to sleep. If
the Palestinians are victims of violence of Jews, we the Black
Untouchables are victims of nonviolence of the “Jews of India”.
7. Hence the “Jews of India”, who are now in
full collaboration with the Jews and their Zionist Israel, are
more dangerous than the Jews. The world must wake up to this deadliest
enemy in disguise and take steps to save India.
8. What should come as the greatest shock to Middle East
is the Jews who control the US economy are deliberately squeezing
America by killing the dollar and then preparing to shift their
entire capital to India by linking up with the “Jews of India” to
control the Middle East and its oil and further enslave India.
And also tackle China.
INDIA SHINING
Scourge of poverty
One-third of India’s rural population or over 200 million
Indians survive on a paltry Rs. 12 a day. The urban poor, according
to a report, fare slightly better as 30% of them live on Rs. 19
a day. The national survey brings to light such gloomy realities
about the country’s poor. It is not merely poverty but the
staggering socio-economic disparity that prevails in India which
is heart-wrenching.

Dalits left out
Bangalore: The Scheduled Castes and Tribes in Karnataka
are about a decade behind the rest of the population in human development
attainment. The development process, to a considerable extent,
has bypassed SC/STs”. It is for the first time that an HDI
and GDI ranking has been offered for SC/STs.

Muslims rank below Dalits
Muslims constitute only 1.3% of students studying in the IIMs
across India. In IITs, out of 27,161 students enrolled in the different
programmes, there were only 894 Muslims. The share of Muslims in
post-graduate course is just about 4% but it is even lower in under-graduate
course at 1.7%. Against 376.7 lakh graduates in India, only 23.9
lakh are Muslims. In case of diploma and certificate holders out
of total 40.5 lakh persons, 2.7 lakhs are Muslims. The representation
of Muslims in the top medical colleges is about 4%. In the data
made available by 129 universities (out of around 300 universities)
and 84 colleges (out of over 83,000 colleges), the committee found
that Muslim students in under-graduate courses are about 9%, significantly
below those of both the SCs/STs and the OBcs in the country. The
status of Muslims in post-graduate course is one out of 20 students,
below the share of OBCs, SCs and STs.
