Gun-point democracy in Iraq ?
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore
Even an all-out pro-Bush journal like the Economist (Jan.29, 2005) called it "gun-point democracy". President Bush invaded Iraq, ruled by a democratically elected govt., "to restore democracy". But in the process he not only killed democracy but killed millions of innocent Iraqis.

On Jan.30, it held a sham election in Iraq to fool those who are willing to be fooled. The people of Iraq whether Sunni, Shia or even Khurds hate the invading Americans. But Bush says the invaders will not quit even after the "democratically elected govt." takes office.
Is it not clear now that "restoring democracy" is not the intention of Bush?
The countless lies uttered by Bush on weapons of mass destruction, the "barbarity" of Saddam Hussein, "Islamic terrorism" etc. are all before us. While the world leaders failed to tame the Mad Bush, the brave Iraqis gave a slap on his face.

The American wealth and military power has so much overpowered the world that nobody, not even China ÑÊwhich alone has the capacity to challenge America today ÑÊhas the courage to protest. The UN is a silent spectator.

We expect chaos, more chaos and bloody violence to take over Iraq. Perhaps American rulers enjoy such reckless cruelty.

AIDS, a White Western cospiracy?

OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore Our fears that the AIDS disease being a White Western racist conspiracy against Blacks and India's Black Untouchables are shared by a large number of peoples all over the world. DV had some Debate on that.

We now have a report in the Guardian about the American Black fears.

CIA plot
New York Almost half of all African-Americans believe that HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, is man-made, more than a quarter believe it was produced in a government laboratory and one in eight think it was created and spread by the CIA, according to a study released by Rand Corporation and the University of Oregon. African-Americans are 13% of the US population but account for 50% of new HIV infections. African-American women constituted as much 73% of new female HIV cases in 2003. (Deccan Herald, Jan.27, 2004).

Why AIDS is striking mainly the Blacks? Why India's upper caste rulers are so worried over AIDS? Why South Africa, the Continent's most powerful country challenging the White Rulers, is targeted by AIDS heroes? Our people must ponder.

Dalit - Sikh unity to dominate Chandigarh DV workshop
A CORRESPONDENT

Chandigarh "Sikhism on death bed", as highlighted in the Dalit Voice Editorial of Feb.1, 2005, is expected to dominate the Chandigarh workshop of DV family members scheduled for March 11-13, 2005. Our Editor's recent visit to Chandigarh (Jan.19) on the invitation of Jat Sikhs in this connection, the joint meeting he had with Jat Sikhs and Dalits indicate the growing cooperation between the two to save Sikhism from Brahminism.

The Editor in his speech to the Sikh Students Federation at Punjab University on Jan.19 made it clear that "during the worst crisis faced by the different Sikh gurus, it was the Dalits who stood by the gurus, fought with the gurus and died with the gurus".

SIKHISM IS DALIT RELIGION
The English Literature Hall of the university was almost full. Militant Sikh followers of the great revolutionary, Sant Bhindranwale, who is ranked next only to Guru Gobind Singh, cheered the Editor repeatedly.

In a way the Editor created history because he brought together for the first time the estranged Jat Sikhs and Dalits. He demolished the Brahminical barrier built between the two sections. His declaration that "Sikhism is a Dalit religion" and that the "military religion started by the Dalit saints can be saved only by the Dalits", brought tremendous response from the Jats.
There were more cheers when he said

" We are surprised how some upper caste Sikhs now think that Sikhism is their religion. No, Sikhism is the Dalit religion".

Then he added
" We have a great respect for Sant Bhindranwale who stood, fought and died for Sikhism. He was a Jat Sikh but the only person who got angry and killed Indira Gandhi for launching the "Blue Star Operation" (1984) was a Dalit Sikh ÑÊBeant Singh. (cheers).

BRAHMINISM AS ENEMY
He reminded the upper caste Sikhs that it was a Dalit Sikh who avenged the killing of their most revered sant. The Sikhs have to be ever grateful to the Dalits. "Look at Beant Singh and his sacrifice. Does it not prove that Dalit Sikhs loved Sikhism more than the upper caste Sikhs?"

The Editor then asked the Sikhs to identify the enemy. "If you Sikhs want to fight Brahminism, then it is your duty to first identify the enemy. Have you done it? If so, are we Dalits your enemy? If we are not your enemy, why do you torment us? If we are not your enemy then join us in fighting our common enemy".
The last Guru, he said, had left instructions to Sikhs that they should always remain fully armed. A sleeping man cannot be a Sikh. But you Sikhs are sleeping. I find no life in you. We doubt if you are true Sikhs. (cheers).

Finally this meeting of Sikhs and Dalits took place today and together we will have to fight the enemy.
Concluding, he said

" If you go through Sikh history, it is clear that Dalits took part in Sikh revolution in a big way. The people who are now called Dalits were originally Budhists. That is why they only were capable of launching Sikhism after the fall of Budhism. Throughout the Sikh struggle they fought shoulder to shoulder with the 10 gurus. Not only we fight Brahminism but also the Dasam Granth manufactured by Brahmins. Together we shall make history. " (loud cheers).

The Editor's speech to the Sikh Students Federation and later the meeting of Dalits and SSF leaders that took place at Ambedkar Bhawan has given a new hope to the sinking Sikhs.

During the forthcoming Chandigarh workshop the union of two mighty forces is expected to take a definite shape.

Editor visits Chandigarh jail

A correspondent

Chandigarh After about 20 years, Editor V.T. Rajshekar visited the Burail jail here on Jan.20, 2004, accompanied by a DV family member, Sardar Fateh Jung Singh, a Dalit Sikh. The Editor was here to address the militant Sikhs of the Sikh Student Federation at the Punjab University.

The Editor's arrest in 1986 created history. He was arrested for writing an Editorial in DV on the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by a Dalit Sikh, Beant Singh, who was a bodyguard of the PM. He felt so upset when his "nation" of Sikhs was unjustly attacked, killing thousands of Sikhs in the "Blue Star Operation". It was a Brahminical war on the brave Sikhs led by Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale who was killed inside the Golden Temple, the Akal Takht demolished by the army. This was the first time the Govt. of India was using army to fight its own citizens.

Hindu war on Sikhs Dalit Voice has announced four documents in its possession written by eminent non-Sikhs on this "Hindu war on Sikhs". (Photocopies may be ordered Rs. 150).

The Editor like millions of other concerned Indians felt so upset by this Hindu war and wrote a master piece editorial which was reprinted by Sardar Sukhdev Singh, a noted Chandigarh Sikh journalist in his weekly paper, Dignity, which led to his arrest under TADA (Terrorist Act). When he went in appeal to the Supreme Court, the police had nothing to defend their action except arresting our Editor, the real author of the Dignity article.

The arrest made our Editor darling of the entire Sikhs inside and outside India.
Chandigarh jail yatra The Editor has written a whole book, Chandigarh Jail Yatra, (pages 150) on his dramatic arrest at Bangalore, brief stay in Chandigarh jail and the whole interesting story surrounding it. But unfortunately the document still has not seen the light of the day for want of money.

The arrest made him the hero of whole Punjab. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, then general secretary of the Akali Dal who later became a Union Minister in the BJP-led Govt., had met the Editor in jail and after thanking him for coming to the support of the Sikhs in their critical hour of distress, he offered to get him elected to Parliament from any seat in Punjab.

All the important writings in Dalit Voice relating to the Sikh struggle for self-determination were later published as a document Birth Pangs of Khalistan (pp. 40) which is dedicated to the martyred Sant Bhindranwale whom the Editor had met in Delhi in 1982.

All the copies of the document are sold out like hot cakes then itself. Only a photocopy is now available. Rs. 65.

Sikhism is actually dead The Editor earlier met two important Jat Sikh leaders who were with him in the jail. One is Major-General Narinder Singh who is about 80 now and a top Sikh leader of Punjab. He is a very sad man today. He told the Editor "it is wrong to say that Sikhism is facing slow death. Sikhism is actually dead and gone. The Akali Dal which is in the grip of Hindu nazis has deliberately killed Sikhism. The Golden Temple itself is popularising the Brahmin-manufactured Dasam Granth and the chief priest Vedanti has given a directive that no Sikh should criticise it." The other Sikh jailmate of the Editor is Rajinder Singh of Shiromani Khalsa Panchayat.

Brahminical people killed Sikhism just as they did with Budhism. The Editor also met his old friend, Sardar Gurtej Singh, who resigned as IAS officer from Andhra Pradesh to devote himself to Sikh affairs and later became a professor of Sikhism. Brother Gurtej also spoke about the pathetic state of Sikhism.

It is learnt that the Brahminical people have set up one Wirsa Singh, a Brahmin-turned Sikh, with headquarters in Delhi and millions of rupees at his command to destroy Sikhism. DV will be too happy to receive any reports on the machinations of this Sikh saboteur. Already Arya Samaj, Radho Swami, Nirankari etc. have divided the Dalits. Dasam Granth has come to finally kill Sikhism.

Vaidik threat to kill Editor
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore A vaidik admirer of the Hindu nazi leader, Pejawara Swami, has given a call to his jati people to murder our Editor, V.T. Rajshekar.

His email of Jan.27, however, does not disclose his name or address Ñamply proving the cowardliness of such hate-mongers who always use innocents to do their heinous crimes of which history bears enough testimony. The message runs like this
From fwipl@lycos.com

The fortnightly issue of Jan.31 of Dalit Voice is a nonsense written against Great Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt. He is a living legend. It is our luck that we have seen him in our life time. He is like a God Krishna's messenger. Whoever talks rubbish of him is like telling to Lord Krishna. The result for such people is well known from the Mahabharata. The same fate of Dhuryodhana, Shakuni, Shishupala and Dantavakra will be awaiting those modern-day Rakshas. Pass on this message to the writer of fortnightly issue of Jan.31.

He is referring to the DV Editorial of Jan.16-31, 2005, "...Slap on the face of Pejawara Swami".
The names he quotes from the Mahabharata are of those killed by the vaidiks. It means our Editor also has to be killed.

History says the Rakshas, the original inhabitants of India, protested against the reckless killing of cows and burning of precious food by the invading vaidiks in their yagnas and yagas. The history has hundreds of cases of vaidiks resorting to mass murders and mayhem. (K.S. Bhagavan, Violence in Hinduism, DSA, 1986). On one side the vaidiks fool the world saying that their Hinduism is the only non-violent religion in the whole world and on another side they resort to reckless killings.
The latest vaidik threat to kill our Editor is yet another proof that Hinduism is the world's most violent religion.

Editor not afraid of death But the Editor is not afraid of death. He has already faced two attempts on his life. Plus innumerable vaidik punishments.
Everybody including the author of the email has to die one day or other. Is it not better to die as a hero for a great humanitarian cause like that of the poor and oppressed Backward Caste shepherds (Kurubas) whose greatest saint Kanaka Dasa was insulted and his monument destroyed by the Pejawara?

Verdict of history The Pejawara Swami's action of demolishing the Kanaka Gopura is criticised not merely by our Editor but by the very Govt. of Karnataka itself and the entire people of Karnataka Ñ barring some lunatic fringe of the vaidik hate-mongers.

Sitting outside India, it is very easy to sound heroic and get claps from the wicked and the crooked. If the vaidiks think that by killing people and destroying precious property they can govern India they are mistaken. History has already pronounced its verdict on these hate-mongers.

How DV suffered under mother tongue mania
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore We have been the greatest advocates of English from the very beginning Ñ facing terrible criticisms from Dalits who have been made addicts of their mother tongue. DV has suffered a lot because of the language problem which the vaidiks fully exploited to their advantage. Vaidiks have no love either for their mother tongue or their "motherland". They love only that which brings them profits. They have their own toilet papers to propagate their falsehood. We have our little Dalit Voice which our own Brahminised Dalits hate. DV is the worst sufferer because of this mother tongue mania. Even such a great scholar in Tamil, Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy, asked our people to dump all Indian languages including his own ancient and rich Tamil in the Bay of Bengal and take to English. But how to convince our people?

Supreme Court is not supreme

OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore We are not able to understand what type of a judiciary we have in India ÑÊparticularly the Supreme Court which went out of the way to grant bail to the notorious Kanchi Frankenstein, Jayendra Saraswati. It has one set of laws for the Brahminical rulers and another to its victims. The different judgments of the Supreme Court have proved that its upper caste judges are all-out to preserve and perpetuate the country's Brahminical rule. We have said this many times. It is high time our Parliament amend the Constitution to cut down the Supreme Court's powers and pack the higher judiciary with judges from SC/ST/BCs and Muslim/Christian/Sikhs ÑÊBahujans. The Supreme Court must be told that it is not above the country's Constitution. The corruption in the higher judiciary is admitted by the Supreme Court itself. Just because the judges take advantage of the provision that "motives should not be attributed to any given judgment", we cannot allow such a state of affairs to continue for long at the cost of the country. The Manmohan Singh Govt. and the Union Law Ministry must know that Madani's is the one single case in India where justice is denied, delayed and destroyed just because he is an honest but revolutionary Muslim .
