Lalu agrees to join hands with DV to fight Brahminism

V.T. RAJSHEKAR

Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav and friends,

I am so happy to be back in Patna after 8 years. This is also my eighth visit to this historic city. My first visit was to meet Jananayak Karpoori Thakur, who as a barber was a Bihar's first BC Chief Minister.

Last time I visited Patna at the invitation of Lalu Prasad Yadav he was in jail. For the first time in the history of India, a Chief Minister in office was thrown into jail in his own state. Jayalalita whose multi-crore corruption was proved never faced jail. She is going strong as Chief Minister of TN. So also Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao. Because both were Brahmins. We have in this country one set of law for the Brahmins and other high born people and another set of law for the low born people like Laluji and myself (cheers). This is because the Brahminical people, a mere 15% of India's population, are ruling India. Karpoori Thakur fought these very forces and died and Lalu Prasad is fighting for the past 15 years. Some 25 years back or so Chief Minister Devaraj Urs, hailed as the Father of the Backward Caste movement in Karnataka, sent me to Patna to meet Karpuri Thakur.

This much I can tell you that Lalu Prasad's fight for Justice and Truth will not go waste. He has become the darling of the whole country.

I am never given to exaggeration. I am a journalist and writer deeply involved in this struggle against Brahminism for the past 30 years.

I live in deep South (India) but carefully watching the struggle of Lalu Prasad Yadav is far off Bihar.

I don't have the habit of praising or flattering people. Nor do I belong to any political party. I have been always a bitter critic of men and matter. I call a spade a spade. But I admire Laluji because he brought tremendous social change in Bihar. He made the oppressed people to fight back. He gave them courage. The poor in India rarely get angry. They suffer in silence. Laluji gave them courage and this courage made them fight the oppressor upper castes. (cheers).

I have come all the way to tell you a secret: That secret is Laluji is not a vyakti but a shakti (cheers). He must tour the whole country and show his shakti.

Brahminical forces by tormenting and troubling Laluji will go on making him more and more famous, driving him closer and closer to the hearts of the people. (more cheers)

Political power comes and goes but Laluji's struggle will be for ever remembered.

I can even predict that the more they persecute him closer he will go into hearts of the oppressed Dalits, Backward Castes and Muslims. Only those are remembered in history who suffered and sacrificed for the oppressed like Dr. Ambedkar, Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy, Dr. Lohia, Karpuri Thakur etc. If he launches a struggle for social change, he need not go in search of power. Power will come searching for him. And in ten years he will be the Prime Minister of India (cheers). One more thing: all the greatest revolutionaries of India — Babasaheb Ambedkar, Periyar EVR and Lohia were never Prime Ministers. Yet all of them went into history. During Laluji's 15-year rule Bihar did not see a single major anti-Muslim or anti-Dalit riot. Is it not a great achievement? He brought about a true secular rule. Why the Brahminical media is not admitting this truth?

The upper castes hate him only because he established secularism by giving courage to Dalits, Muslims and Backward Castes. The historic Jehanabad jail break and the killing of the notorious Bada Mishra of the Bumihar army is the proof the caste war which Lalu launched.

I have come all the way from Bangalore to congratulate Laluji and also tell him and all his people of Bihar that Lalu Prasad Yadav might have been defeated in the recent Assembly election but "Laluism" has actually won.

I repeat: Lalu defeated but "Laluism" wins (cheers). (DV Edit Dec.16, 2005: "Lalu loses but Laluism wins: Bihar election proves caste war as only right royal route").

What is Laluism? He strengthened the identity of Dalits, Backward Castes, Muslims and gave them courage. And this courage made them fight the upper castes. Who gave this courage? Laluji. (cheers)

"JUNGLE RAJ" IN BIHAR

We want more such Lalus in the country. If at least half a dozen such Lalus come, India will be a much safer place to live.

Today, this 15% micro-minority Brahminical people are killing and destroying India. We want Lalu to save India.

The Brahminical media goes on making fun of him and says that Lalu converted Bihar into a "jungle raj".

Yes. We admit this charge. But who is making this charge? Our enemies. (laughter)

I have closely examined this charge and found that Bihar indeed was a "jungle raj" even before Laluji took over. The upper caste Brahmins, Bumihars, Kayasths, Thakurs etc., who were ruling Bihar, had made the life of the over 85% of its people miserable and unsafe. Laluji gave them security and courage.

This is his greatest gift to Bihar which our journalists are not able to see. No. They see it but refuse to admit it. (laughter).

ILLITERATE PEOPLE KEEP SECULARISM SAFE

I will give you yet another secret: fortunately these newspapers are read by not even 30% of the Bihar population. Over 70% of the people of Bihar and even outside do not read any paper.

These people, who were kept illiterate by the very same upper caste rulers, fortunately remain pure and uncontaminated. We thank the upper castes for keeping them illiterate.

Today, secularism is safe in Bihar and India because of these illiterate people. And to these people Lalu is a real hero.

It was Laluji who stopped the Advani Rath Yatra and drove him out of Bihar. What a courageous work he did. Did anybody had this courage? Lalu is ridiculed because he is India's greatest advocate of secularism and social change. That is why the poor and the oppressed people all over India love him. That is why the Brahminical toilet papers of India refuse to give him a good press for 15 long years. (cheers).

SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR OF GEORGE FERNANDES

What shocked me is the behaviour of George Fernandes, a bogus Lohia socialist. Instead of supporting Laluji, he brought about division between Lalu and Nitish Kumar. (cheers).

George Fernandes and myself belong to the same native place in the west coast town of Mangalore. Once upon a time we were close. But once this Roman Catholic started flirting with India's Hindu terrorist party, BJP and RSS, I kept myself away. Even his own Christians today hate him. Poor man is today isolated. Suffering. History will soon throw him into dust bin (cheers). He is being removed as president of JD(U) Party also shortly. He has to pay for betraying Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and embracing the serpent. George Fernandes is India's biggest bogus socialist.

NEVER POUR MILK TO SERPENT, KILL IT

Remember: Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy warning: Never pour milk to the serpent. Kill it wherever you find it. George Fernandes thought of pouring milk to the serpent. Serpent made him famous. Gave him power and wealth.

The serpent was waiting. After making full use of George, it finally did bite him. (loud cheers).

Another bogus fellow produced by Bihar is Ram Vilas Paswan. Also once my friend. Serpent made him half dead.

Lalu Prasad Yadav never poured milk to the serpent. Rather, he tried to kill the serpent wherever he found the serpent. That is why he has become the darling of the whole oppressed masses of the country.

Unless we destroy this serpent (Brahminism), India will not be safe. (cheers).

India is today witnessing a major caste war — between the 15% upper caste haves and the 85% Dalits, Backward Castes and Muslim havenots. Victory is ours. This is sure.

What is going on in Karnataka, my state, is also a caste war. H.D. Deve Gowda represents the Brahminical people. Bihar is the biggest battle ground of this caste war. We must intensify this caste war.

It is in Bihar that Budha launched India's greatest "caste war" against Brahminism. Laluji must continue it.

Bihar is India's most important state. Because it is the land of Budha, Mahavir, Asoka, Mourya, Guru Gobind Singh, Karpuri Thakur and now Laluji (cheers).

Laluji should not confine himself to Bihar. He must tour the whole country. I will arrange this tour. He will be surprised to find millions of his admirers.

NEED FOR MEDIA

But we need a media of our own to reach our message to the masses. Without a media of our own we can't fight this powerful enemy. Today we are not able to win because we have no media and the Brahminical people have a monopoly over the media. I have said this to Laluji when I last met him in the jail. He promised but forgot the promise.

In every state, every district the caste war is going on. In Karnataka, the current political developments are nothing but a war between the ruling upper castes and the lower castes.

Slowly but surely the "low caste" Dalits, BCs and Tribals are realising the importance of strengthening their "caste identity".

DV COMPLETES 25 YEARS

Our identity is our caste, rather the subcaste. Caste is our real nation. I have written a book itself on this subject. All the upper castes who went up and became the rulers did so only by strengthening their castes. But when Lalu Prasad Yadav strengthened the Yadava "identity", he was called a casteist.

But Atal Behari Vajpayee is not called a casteist, Jagannath Mishra is not called casteist. (laughter).

I have written a book itself on this subject, Caste — A Nation Within the Nation. Its Hindi translation is getting ready for publication. When it is ready, Laluji must release it in Delhi.

NITISH AS PRISONER OF MODI

Dalit Voice has completed 25 years. We are going to celebrate our silver jubilee in Delhi. We want Lalu Prasad Yadav to inaugurate the celebration.

Dalit Voice has become India's oldest and the largest circulated journal of India's oppressed masses. It is published in six languages including Hindi from Delhi.

We have also published over 100 books in English, translated to every language in India and outside. Brahminical people hate DV and that means it is loved by all the victims of Brahminism.

I was arrested four times, put in jail in Chandigarh, passport impounded for 20 years — all for my writings and speeches. For supporting revolutionary leaders like Lalu. There were two attempts on my life. But I don't care. I am not afraid of speaking out the Truth and supporting Justice.

If Lalu Prasad and Dalit Voice join together, we can shake the whole country and bring a new hope to the hungry millions. (loud cheers).

I have spoken a lot because the subject of Bihar and secularism — that too in the context of "Laluism" is too provocative.

Before closing I want to assure you that the Nitish Kumar Govt. won't last long. It will collapse, caught in the crossfire of its own internal caste contradictions. Nitish is a prisoner in the hands of Brahminical forces.

Sushil Modi, the Marwadi Bania imported from Rajasthan and the agent of Hindu terrorist RSS, will not allow Nitish to work. He will block every Nitish move for social change.

Brahminical people have been complaining that Laluji destroyed law and order. But did Nitish succeed? Kidnapping and murders have increased. The masses of Bihar will soon regret, repent and come back to Lalu. He can recapture their hearts by making some corrections.

HOLD JATI CONFERENCES

He must hold conferences of different jatis, particularly the Most Backward Castes and Backward Muslims.

Once he completes such conferences of different jatis, he should launch an agitation for reservation for MBCs and Backward Muslims — in proportion to the population of each jati.

QUOTA IN HIGHER JUDICIARY

He should also launch an agitation for reservation in High Courts and Supreme Court. Supreme Court is not supreme. These judges think too much of themselves. In what way they are superior to govt. servants? (cheers).

Judges must be also elected like MLAs and MPs. Lalu must launch an agitation for this.

Once Laluji launches such agitations, all the MLAs who went over to Nitish will come back. Laluji has nothing to fear. We assure the full support of Dalit Voice in launching the long awaited caste war in India.

In India, caste is class. All the poor people are "low castes" and all the rich people are upper castes. Exceptions may be there. But exceptions prove the rule.

All these Maithili Brahmins with tomato colour are upper castes and born rich. India's road to socialism lies in caste war.

LALU MUST JOIN HANDS WITH D.V.

Laluji's political power and mass appeal combined with Dalit Voice strategies and tactics, we can throw out Brahminism in 10 years. I am closing with a warning to the Brahminical rulers of Bihar and India. These rulers are talking of 7% GDP, 8%GDP. They are saying "India shining". They say India is going to become a super power. Nonsense.

All this is bullshit. India is not shining.India is stinking. India is sinking. (cheers).

Just less than 15% of the overfed urban-born are talking and boasting while the rest of India is sinking, starving, stagnating. (more cheers).

I am warning you: the upper caste life is not safe. Remember that.

If the upper caste rulers go ahead with their present agenda, they will be converting India into a huge battle ground. We are ready for a fight because we have nothing to lose. It is the Maithili Brahmins, Sushil Kumar Modis, Thakurs, Rajputs, Kayasths who stand to lose (loud cheers)

Are you ready for fight? We are ready. India will witness a bloody caste war. We need it. We are waiting for it. We are itching for it. (prolonged cheers).

Our people have nothing to lose. It is the ruling class haves who have everything to rule. Our people have lost everything. Remember that.

UPPER CASTE LIFE IS NOT SAFE

They say the Brahminical people are the "most brilliant" and "merited" people. Nonsense. If you say you have the brain, then you will be able to make out and foresee what is happening. Your life itself is not safe. Our people do not mind dying. It is you who love your life and property. If you want to protect your life and property, then have wisdom and come to terms with us. Together let us build this country.

A mere 15% of the "brainy people" cannot make India a super power when the 85% robust rustics are pulling it back.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's experiment in Bihar has to be followed all over India. I have come all the way from Bangalore to congratulate Laluji and assure him that Lalu may be defeated but Laluism has actually won.

THREE DANGEROUS SECTORS

Before I conclude I have to warn Laluji and you about the three dangers facing India and secularism. They are:

(1) Media, (2) judiciary and (3) bureaucracy.

The 15% upper castes because of their early education went into these sectors and monopolised it. They are not only using it for their benefit but also using it to persecute us.

These three upper caste institutions are not only harming secularism but slowly destroying India's parliamentary democracy itself.

We have to educate our people on the dangers posed to the country by these three institutions. We have to correct them and take over them.

Thank you for your patient hearing and particularly to Laluji for agreeing to sit through my speech and carefully listening to it and also agreeing with every point I made.

Speech on the "Future of secularism in India" delivered on Jan.23, 2006 at Patna's (Bihar) A.N. Sinha Institute as the chief guest for the Karpoori Thakur birth anniversary function. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Railway Minister, inaugurated it.

Janab Abdul Bari Siddique, president of the Bihar unit of the RJD Party, presided.

The speech was effectively translated to Hindi, sentence by sentence, by Harivansh, chief editor of the Hindi daily, Prabhat Khabar, published from Patna and Ranchi. The hall was jam-packed and people were standing. Patna's entire news reporters and TV channels were present and there was a wide coverage with front-page reports and pictures in the national media.

Dr. Bhim Singh, RJD leader and DV family member, delivered the welcome speech.

The Editor later had an hour-long meeting with Laluji and he agreed to join hands with DV to save India from Brahminical imperialism.

A church for each caste ?

RAJU THOMAS, POST BOX - 2296, MADRAS - 600 023

This refers to Brother Xavier Gnanaraj article on caste war in Madras church (DV Jan.16, 2006 p.22). "Caste war" is going on in all the churches all over India except one church: the church of the Knananites because no non-Knananities are in their church. Why not we apply DV's "caste identity" theory even for the church also? Each caste should have a separate church. Pastors/bishops etc. should be from own caste and that only will sustain. Your theory has a long history in India, originally initiated by the late Dr. Donald McGvran, California, USA. This will solve all problems within the church. DV theory will attract every segment of India and you will see the miracles. Only those who do not have brains can oppose your theory. I have much more to add to the caste war in the Madras CSI diocese.

BINYAMIN CHRISTY, 5 - WAZIR HASSAN RD., LUCKNOW - 226 001

My response to your speech "War on church if it rejects Dalit liberation" (DV Jan.1, 2006 p.22). I am a Dalit Christian from Gujarat. Over 80% of Indian Christians are Dalits. So the Indian church is a Dalit church. It is our misfortune that 80% of Christians are in the hands of upper caste converts who are a micro-minority in Indian Christianity. Brahmins (3%) are ruling over 85% of OBCs, shudras, Dalits and Tribals. I want all Dalit Christians to fight the church leadership. Leadership is not given but taken. We want Dalit leadership in our church. We are the church and must take over the church from its Brahminical leadership.

TN Dalit leader backs DV's caste-based planning

DALIT TEACHER FROM MADRAS UNIVERSITY, MADRAS, (ADDRESS WITHHELD)

Puthiya Thamizhagam leader Krishnaswamy, a great friend of the Editor of Dalit Voice, has defended caste-based economic planning as suggested in the DV Editorial of Dec.1, 2006: "DV jumps from social to economic". On Jan.24, he called for a separate annual budget, such as the railway budget for the Dalits to ensure that the funds allotted for their welfare were utilised properly. He told the press that out of the Central Govt.'s total expenditure of Rs. 5,14,343 crores, only Rs. 6,253 crore was spent for the welfare of the SC/STs. This constituted just 1.25% of the total expenditure. Even this amount was not spent entirely by the states. Similarly, the "Special Component Plan" of the Centre for SC/ST was only on paper. If there was a separate budget for them, the state would be committed to spending the allotted amount.

LETTERS TO EDITOR

Mohammad Bashir, Executive Director, Kashmir Information Centre, PO Box 2292, Islamabad, Pakistan: We have a completed record of Dalit Voice issues from 2001. We maintain this record in proper hard-bound files, separately for each calender year. This may perhaps be one of the authentic and well-kept records of DV outside India. We value your endeavours and are saving it for future reference for the researchers and historians. We have also good collection of your books. Your two books — Brahminism - Father of Fascism, Racism, Nazism and Dalit - The Black Untouchables of India —were serialized in our magazine, Kashmir Mirror. Most of our readers liked them. Some of them even requested for photocopies. We very much like to have your award-winning book, Caste - A Nation Within the Nation.

**************

Dr. Parvez Khan, (muslim_bahujan_sikh_unity@ yahoo.com): I just read your book, Why Godse Killed Gandhi? (DSA-1997). I was shocked by the wealth of information which I received from it. I learnt a lot about this event which I did not know in the past. It is a very informative book. But I disagree on the point of your opposition to the creation of Pakistan. You say that the Indian Muslims are now regretting the division of India into two separate countries regarding which I know nothing. If the Indian Muslims do believe it is up to them but in Pakistan we still believe that the partition of India was the need of time and a separate homeland for the Muslims had to be created to save them from the terrorism of Gandhi and his Hindus. It is also not true that the Congress wanted the division of India and Jinnah Sahib was not in favour of it in the beginning. Aesha Jelal's book, The Sole Spokesman, to which you have referred is totally false and fake and is not based on facts. Aesha Jelal for the sake of obtaining her Ph.D. wrote a false historical thesis to please her Hindu professor and get Ph.D. degree. If Ayesha had not written her "Gandhi lies" according to the wishes of her Hindu boss, she would not have received her Ph.D.. This phenomenon is widespread in the Asian faculties of most EU universities which are headed by the Gandhi fans and who never miss the opportunity of distorting the historical truths.
