Christian scholars predict Islam will defeat Christianity
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The world-famous London Economist,
a Christian journal, in its Christmas special issue has published
a special article, “The Battle for the books”, (Dec.22,
2007 p.75) saying:
“Many Christian scholars predict that Islam will overtake
Christianity as the world’s largest religion by 2050”.
The Economist is not only Christian, pro-West and pro-American
but also anti-Muslim having supported the American war against
Iraq and the zionist occupation of Arab Palestine. The frank admission
of victory to Islam in the current Christian war against Muslims
by the world’s most prestigious journal is of great historical
importance. The weekly predicts that the current “Battle
of books” will “spark some of the fiercest conflicts
of the 21st century”. Secondly, “the Bible and the
Quran will continue to exercise a dramatic influence over human
events, for both good and ill. The twigs of the burning bush are
still aflame with the fire of god”.
It says the Quran is a mere four-fifths of the length of the New
Testament; but some Westerners find it an even more difficult
read.
The Quran is not only the most widely read book in the Islamic
world but also the most widely recited (Quran means “recitation”).
CONVERTING MUSLIMS
Why are today’s Christians and Muslims proving so successful
at getting the Word out? And who is winning the battle of the books?
This needs to be kept in mind when considering who is winning
the battle of the books.
The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas has even
created a masters degree to train missionaries in the art of converting
Muslims. Some Evangelicals produce counterfeit Qurans that are
designed to plant doubt in Muslim mind.
The Christians entered the 21st century with a big head start.
There are 2 billion of them in the world compared with 1.5 billion
Muslims. But Islam had a better 20th century than Christianity.
Many Christian scholars predict that Islam will overtake Christianity
as the world’s largest religion by 2050.
But two things are certain in the battle of the books The first
is that the urge to spread the Word will spark some of the fiercest
conflicts of the 21st century. The area that is being most heavily
fought over—Sub-Saharan Africa— is a tinder box
of failed states and ethnic animosities. The second is that the
Bible and the Quran will continue to exercise a dramatic influence
over human events, for both good and ill. The twigs of the burning
bush are still aflame with the fire of god, the Economist concludes.

Govt. cheats Dalit Christians
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The Manmohan Singh Govt. had already cheated
the Muslims through the Sachar Committee report. Now, as expected,
it has cheated the Dalit Christians through the Misra Commission
report. The govt. on Jan.23 told the Supreme Court that it needed
time and the court granted eight weeks. The typical Brahminical
trick is to set up a committee whenever there is any problem. It
said the Scheduled Caste Commission was studying the Misra Commission
report which had recommended reservation to Dalit Christians and
it needed time to study it.The SC Commission contributed its share
of the mischief when it agreed with extending reservation to Dalit
Christians but this reservation should be within the 15% share
of Scheduled Caste quota. The Supreme Court had ruled that the
50% over-all quota should be maintained — though there was
no basis for such a ruling. Tamil Nadu Govt. has already violated
this ruling and is having a much larger quota. In some states there
is even 100% reservations. Sovereignty lies with the people —not
the Supreme Court. If the judiciary goes against the people such
a judiciary has to be made to bow before the people. (Judicial
Terrorism, V.T. Rajshekar & Iqbal Ahmed Shariff, DSA-2006).This
is first time somebody (Center for Public Interest Litigation)
has challenged the mischievous Presidential Order of 1950 which
deprived the Dalit converts to Christianity of their right to reservation
though Dalit converts to other religions like Sikhism, Budhism
were getting reservation. That is how we in DV often said that the
Brahminical rulers have bent the very constitution of India to
deny justice to a large sections of the oppressed. Here, in this
case Dalit Christians.
Did Jews kill world famous chess player?
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The world famous American chess player, Bobby
Fischer (64) died under mysterious circumstances at Raykjavk, capital
of Iceland, on Jan.17, 2008. The cause of the death is not given.
According to a New York Times report published in Deccan
Herald (Jan.19, 2008), he was an “iconoclastic genius
who was one of the greatest chess players the world has ever seen”.
An American citizen, he escaped from his country after he criticised
Jews and declared the “Jews were bent upon destroying him
personally and the world in general”.
Himself a Jew, he ran from country to country to escape death.
Finally Iceland allowed him entry and he settled down there till
his death. In 1999, he gave a radio interview in Philippines where
he “remarked angrily and profoundly about an international
Jewish conspiracy which was bent upon destroying him personally
and the world generally”. The report called him the “most
powerful American player in history”.
Clinton’s nasty behaviour
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: As the innocent American citizens are relieved
over getting rid of the zionist-controlled Republican Party and
its disastrous President George W. Bush, and over sending a Democrat
into the White House, the discredited ex-President Bill Clinton,
the philandering husband of Hilary Clinton, suddenly entered the
scene and his tactics are upsetting all calculations and particularly
alienating the Blacks and young people.
Clinton’s behaviour at his wife Hilary’s election
campaign has upset the Democratic party leadership because his
all-out attack on the party’s powerful Black candidate Obama.
Democratic voters are already divided on racial lines. If this
happens both Hilary and Obama, the Black candidate, may lose and
the Whites may consolidate behind a Republican who may get elected.

“Jews of India” get closer to Jews
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: “Jews of India” collaborating with
Jews — highlighted so often in DV quoting from the “national” toilet
papers itself — got a big boost when India launched an Israeli
satellite at Sriharikota, near Madras, on Jan.21 to spy on Iran.
The Hindu (Jan.22) quoted a leading Israeli daily, Haartez,
that the spy satellite, called Tecsar, would “boost intelligence
gathering capabilities regarding Iran”. The satellite can
send photographs of Iranian communications so far not available
to the zionist state. It helps Israel “to keep an eye on
the Iranian nuclear programme”. The Hindu report
quoted an analyst saying the Islamic world would see it “as
a sinister tie-up between Israel and India”.
The launch of Israeli spy satellite is yet another proof of the
Govt. of India’s increased collaboration with Israel, hated
by the entire Muslim world and condemned in the United Nations
by all justice-loving countries.
But the same Indian Govt. did not have a word of condemnation
when the zionist state launched a blockade of Gaza violating all
international norms to starve the 1.5 million Palestinians to death.
Except a mild protest by the manuwadi marxists (CPM),
none else protested in India. Only the Asian Age made
a banner story headlined, “India launches Israeli spy satellite”.
India’s pro-American Prime Minister wants to please his
American bosses who are great supporters of the zionist state.
A visiting Israeli diplomat Nirod Barkan admitted in Delhi on Jan.22
that India was more helpful in isolating Iran than China (Asian
Age, Jan.23).

LETTERS TO EDITOR
J.N. Sudhakar, Cancer Research Student, Taichung, Taiwan:
I ama Dalit student, doing PhD in cancer biology here. I am a regular
reader of Dalit Voice in internet. I read some of your
books. I want to order a set of books from DSA and I want to subscribe
to DV. Wish to become even a life member. I am very much impressed
by DV, it has totally changed me. Here many Indian tells me that
I talk like a revolutionary. All this is because of DV. (sudhakarjns@yahoo.co.in)
So happy to hear about the DV impact on you while India’s
ruling upper castes hate DV and do everything to shut our mouth.
Justice and Truth are never appreciated in Hindu India. If you
are a bum-licker of the Brahminical parasites, you are praised,
paraded and called a genius. As a country, we are slowly dying
but the Brahminical toilet papers make the unthinking English-reading
population (just 3%) float in 9 to 10% GDP clouds — EDITOR.

Samuel Hudson Daniel, Student, Ottawa, Canada: Finally,
we found someone who speaks the truth. I salute you for your courage
and bravery. I wish to know how I can subscribe to your magazine.

Just as you are surprised by our truth-telling paper, we are surprised
there is someone appreciating our courage to speak out the truth.
We had to suffer a lot for speaking truth. Write more about yourself
and how being young student you are in a position to assess our
work. May be because you are a Christian and have a better value
system — EDITOR.

Nam Seungwoo, Seoul: I am a staff reporter of a South Korean
newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, based in Seoul. It is the national
daily with circulation of 2.2 million copies a day and is the most
influential and popular media in South Korea. I am planning to
cover Dalit issues. I want to know the struggles of Dalits in 21st
century. I think India’s economic development is helping
some Dalits earn more money. So I hope to get some good cases of
successful Dalits who broke the thick wall of caste with their
effort and help of other people. Could it be possible for me to
get the cases if I visit India? Also I hope to know if it would
be possible for me to visit Dalit Voice office too.
India is the founding father of racism and since centuries there
is no change in the condition of our people. Nor there is any chance
in the near future. Foreign journalists are simply misled by Brahminical
ruling class propaganda. India’s problem and particularly
that of Dalits is not poverty (economic). It is social and cultural.
You must visit India to know the Truth. The Bible says: “Know
the Truth and Truth shall make you free”. We also worked
as reporter in India’s largest selling English daily for
25 years before starting Dalit Voice. Before coming please
make a study of India for which we will supply you all the literature — EDITOR.

Rajat Agarwal, Delhi: You are by deed and nature a gentleman.
Indeed it was a pleasure to meet you in Delhi. It gave me inspiration
to work harder towards eradication of caste system, that forms
the very basis of most of the evils in our society. Today with
the growth pegged at 10% a year, is it worth celebrating, when
over 300 million souls are without a square meal a day? Are we
really not making a society of few haves and major havenots? At
the same time, our views diverged, you believe in the communist/Soviet
era system of transformation, equating by force, breaking the current
society by a revolution. I believe that communist system of societal
transformation has never worked and in a very complex society,
where your “nation within nation” theory is more relevant
than communist theory of creating uniform society by force. I stand
for free market coupled with free press and democracy till the
last level. We both have the same objective.. Fortunately the free
market, with free press and universal democracy will be the only
key towards eradicating the caste-based inequalities. You referred
to “contradictions” (as mentioned by Chairman Mao),
which I got a chance to read the part of book on the internet.
I can just say that if contradictions meant dying of 15 million
Chinese during cultural revolution under Mao then that is not justifiable.
Your views are more equipped towards “reconciliation of contradictions”,
which by nature means that the ever so many contradictions that
exist in Indian caste society will always survive, few contradictions
will die, new will come with time. What “reconciliation of
contradictions” would do is taking the downtrodden along,
equating opportunities and creating a just society. I agree with
you that 15% of the upper caste cannot be erased. Similarly 20%
of the Muslims cannot be ignored. Thus what is really needed is
defining the “reconciliation of contradictions”, allowing
all contradictions to survive (even when we want them to eradicate,
it won’t happen) and this is possible only through free market,
free press and universal democracy. Simultaneously your thoughts
on the Indian PM’s visit to China. Sir, I am the next generation
of reformist. You like it or not. Your dreams for making a just
and equitable society are also our dreams. But the major difference
lies in the prism we see the world. The new generation of reformists
are more open to criticisms and analogy. We are convinced that
trade is the mantra for more equal world order. Unlike
the yesteryear thinking that reflects a hyphen and feels elated
by equating US or West only with exploitation and ignoring the
extremes committed by China or in Soviet era, in their factories
and fields. And forgetting that so-called friends, like Iran or
Libya, are nothing more than banana republics, creating fanatic
society to preserve their perverse rule. Well, I will not go into
that debate. Your generations advocacy of revolutionary methodology
has become outdated. The new generation which includes your son
and people like me will contribute towards changes without compromising
the basics.
Your statement on our recent Delhi meeting shows you are an honest
intellectual which is the most important criterion to take you
into confidence. However, there are some minor differences which
can be resolved once the basic intellectual honesty is assured.
(1) Free market, free press and democracy will succeed only when
the people are free. When over 75% of the people are hand-to-mouth,
they can be simply manipulated by the haves. That is how the Indian
democracy has failed. Upper castes (who are all educated) don’t
go to vote. The poor do vote but their votes are purchased. That
is why each state assembly candidate needs Rs. 1 crore. Voters
can be simply purchased. You talk about “free press”.
We worked in the same “free press” (Indian Express)
for 25 years and can tell you it is totally pro-upper caste, anti-Dalit
and anti-Muslim. (2) “Contradictions” have to be resolved — not “reconciled” as
you have stated. You will understand this great law once you read
Mao’s book we posted. Read it a couple of times. (3) We treat
all people as humans and do not divide them into Muslim, Christian
etc. They are all citizens of India and the constitution gives
all equal powers. No Dalit in India has any complaint against Muslim
or Christian because they all are our brothers. They fled away
seeking free air under a liberating religion. Prejudices against
any sections comes out of hatred. Hate can never construct society — EDITOR.
