Bangalore: The Jan.9 election for PalestinePresidentship to succeed Yasser Arafat, in which Mahmoud Abbas (69) will be the likely winner, is expected to push Palestine into greater confusion and bloodshed.

Abbas statement that the Intifada was a mistake and his order to stop anti-Jew criticism have disappointed the Palestinians. We suspect an intrnational conspiracy.

Palestinians have suffered because of compromise and lost their land bit by bit if not the country itself, to the zionists.

The entire world, the United Nations and the history itself are behind the Palestinians. But the zionist controllers of America, which considers itself as the new ruler of the world, want the Palestinians to compromise and go on surrendering their land.

Merwan Barhgouti, who is now in Israeli jail, is loved by the Palestinians because he is not for compromise while Abbas is liked by Israel because he has already compromised.

Truth comes out on Rajiv murder

Bangalore: The revelation by the CBI that the notorious crook, Chandraswami, a friend of the Chanakya, P.V. Narasimha Rao, had a hand in the murder of Rajiv Gandhi did not come as a surprise to us.

We had revealed the vaidik-zionist conspiracy immediately after the assassination of Sonia Gandhi's husband near Madras on May 21, 1991. DV Editorial of June 16, 1991 revealed the Brahminical conspiracy to hoist the Chankaya as the PM by blocking the chances of Sonia.

Anti-Mandal campaign: In the very next issue (July 1, 1991 p.21), we had directly come to the subject: "Who killed Rajiv & why?" In this we shot down the wild Brahminical media propaganda putting the blame on the Tamil Tigers for the murder to divert attention from real killers.

At the time of the murder, the country's entire Brahminical forces were deliriously campaigning against the Backward Caste reservations announced by the previous Prime Minister, V.P. Singh. For the first time the country was facing an issue-based parliament election with the 85% Bahujans supporting Mandal reservations and the 15% upper caste exploiters going with BJP. Those upper castes with the Congress crossed over to BJP because of Mandal. Since the overwhelming majority were with the Mandal, the upper castes were seriously worried over the country slipping out of their hands.

House arrest of Sonia: To defeat Bahujans and put the country back in the hands of their sworn enemies, BSO wanted a safe vaidik, P.V. Narasimha Rao, who put Sonia Gandhi virtually under house arrest after becoming the PM. To achieve this end the vaidik forces in collusion with the zionist forces hatched a conspiracy to murder Rajiv Gandhi, putting the blame on the Tamil Tigers. DV had said all these things. Truth never comes out in India. It took 13 years to get the first hint. But as the vaidiks are packed in the police, judiciary, bureaucracy and media, it may still be buried.

Jamate-Islami jumps into politics

Bangalore: The Jamate-Islami (JI) decision to get into vote politics is an important development. However, it wants to be cautious, choosing only AP and Maharashtra to launch its new party. JI is India's premier cadre-based Muslim religious organisation with branches all over.

Its Pakistani counterpart has been contesting elections from the very beginning. So too its Kashmiri unit.

But the situation in India is different. (1) The Muslims here are deeply divided. (2) In the last parliament election, Muslims voted for non-Muslim but secular parties. (3) Barring Kerala's Muslim League, no where Muslim parties have been favoured by the Muslims.

JI could have achieved big success if only its leadership had accepted the DV's 25-year-old suggestion for a Dalit-Muslim united front. Instead of joining with Dalits, who are equally oppressed like the Muslims, JI preferred to flirt with "secularists" Ñthe other name for "Socialist Brahmins" Ñbut failed.

JI's new all-India chief, Dr. Ansari, had expressed keen desire for Dalit-Muslim unity but took no practical steps. But the Hindu nazis, the sworn enemies of Dalits and Muslims, are going out of the way to woo Dalits. The elite Muslims and their religious leadership will suffer more and more as long as they do not join hands with Dalits.

Nepal rebels may win: India must not go to save the king

Bangalore: We are getting happy news from Nepal. "The world's only Hindu country" may turn against Hinduism which impoverished the Himalayan Kingdom and handed it over to revolutionary forces (Maoists).

According to one report the bloody nine-year-old Maoist fight against the oppressive Nepali royal family and the feudal elements supporting it has brought 68 of Nepal's 75 districts under the Maoists. And they are likely to win.

There are also reports that the sinking king is seeking Hindu India's support fearing defeat at the hands of rebels. We are opposed to such an Indian intervention in the internal affairs of Nepal.

The king of Nepal and his feudal henchmen who rule the country are not only corrupt but anti-people having sucked the country dry. They are supported by India's Brahminical Social Order in their game of blood-sucking. The Maoist revolt is the result of such a prolonged dissatisfaction which resulted in a civil war killing about 10,000 people.

Don't call Dalits as naxalites: When rebels are about to win if India sends troops it will be clearly considered an anti-people intervention on behalf of the corrupt king and his feudal political supporters. Neighbouring China also will not like India meddling in Nepal. Delhi may say that it is intervening to prevent the Maoist infiltration to India. But if Maoists or naxalite influence grows in India it is because of the anti-people policies of the Indian ruling class.

India's naxalites are mostly Dalits and Tribals who are the landless starving masses. To dub them naxalites and shoot them is part of the ruling class conspiracy.

What is a important is the removal of the despotic king and his henchmen and holding of democratic election. India should do that.

DV's 12-point charge-sheet against Kanchi swami

Rajshekar, Editor of Dalit Voice, who presided over a meeting called by the People's Equal Justice Forum in Bangalore on Dec.5, 2004, read out the following charge-sheet against the Kanchi swami, Jayendra Saraswati, who is facing several charges of murder, sex scandals, financial irregularities etc. before the judiciary in Tamil Nadu and now confined to the Vellore Central jail:-

Govt. take over of Kanchi mutt: (1) The Kanchi swami is a notorious Hindu nazi and his activities in the last couple of years have brought great distress to Dalits, Muslims and Christians. He has been using his religious institution to spread disaffection among different castes and communities and generate violence in the country thereby weakening the unity and integrity of the country. Huge amount of money given by the devotees has been misused for anti-social activities. Hence the Tamil Nadu Govt. must take over the Kanchi mutt and all its activities by appointing an administrator.

Killing of a Brahmin: (2) The Kanchi swami says he is a great Hindu and a follower of the Manu Dharma Shastra. But he murdered a Hindu only. The victim was not only a Hindu but a Brahmin of his own Iyer subcaste. And that too a great devotee of the Shankar Mutt. Earlier, the swami got another Brahmin stabbed with the intent to murder him. How can such person be called a Hindu swami?

Why Bangalore Papatti not criticised: (3) The arrest and imprisonment of Kanchi swami was done on the orders of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalita, who is not only a Brahmin but a great devotee and also follower of the Kanchi swami. Every step she took to ban conversions, promote vaidik interests in TN was done by her at the behest of Kanchi swami only.

But the pity is neither the people nor the media criticising the Kanchi swami arrest are holding Jayalalita responsible for his existing plight. Why they are silent on Jayalalita is because she is a Brahmin.

Kanchi not a recognised peetha: (4) The historical fact is that Kanchi is not among the four recognised Peethas established by the Adi Shankara. No less a person than the Shankaracharya of Dwaraka Peetha held a press conference at Varanasi on Dec.3, 2004 and said the Kanchi swami was not a Shankaracharya and now that he was facing very serious criminal charges of murder, sex scandals, financial irregularities etc., he must give up the title of Shankaracharya.
Jayendra's great escape: (5) Jayendra Saraswati's latest shocking activities which took him to jail did not come as a surprise to the followers of Kanchi.

On 23/8/1987 Ñ 17 years agoÑ when his senior Chandrashekar Bharati Swami was alive Ñ Jayendra Saraswati was suddenly found missing from Kanchi which he left without informing even the senior swami. He left his danda and kamandal, an action strictly prohibited under the Shankar Mutt rules, and after some days the news came that he was found at Talacauvery, Kodagu dt. of Karnataka. R. Venkataraman, then President of India and a devotee of the mutt, sent his wife Janaki in a special plane to Bangalore to bring back the swami. Janaki found the swami in Talacauvery in the company of one woman Usha who is also connected with the latest murder case and facing police investigation. And also implicated in a financial fraud in Andhra Pradesh.

All these prove that Jayendra Saraswati is a notorious fellow. By observing the unethical behaviour of this swami, the senior swami was so upset and died early because of the worry caused by Jayendra Saraswati.

Hindus refuse to support BJP: (6) The RSS-BJP and other Hindu nazi outfits are saying that the arrest of Jayendra Saraswati was a grave insult to Hindus in a Hindu country. But the Bharat Bundh call they gave was a total flop. That means the Hindus of India fully approved of the punishment given to the swami and that all these Hindu nazi outfits have no support of the Hindus themselves.

The total failure of the bandh will also prove that Dalits, Backwards and Tribals who are dubbed Hindus, do not like being called Hindu as they are the original inhabitants of India.

Racist swami: (7) The jail authorities revealed the "racist mind" of the swami. As per his desire his food is being cooked by a Brahmin and that his guard is also a Brahmin constable. The jail rules are laid down by the law of the land but the Kanchi swami being a Brahmin and a casteist, he wants freedom to practice casteism and untouchability even in the jail Ñ though untouchability is a crime under the Constitution.
What is more objectionable is the state which is duty bound to enforce the constitutional ban on untouchability, which is the other name for racism, is bending backwards to violate the Constitution by permitting the swami to continue his touch-me-notism in the jail even when he is accused of a heinous crime.

Non-Brahmin swamis say no: (8) In Karnataka, except some Brahmin swamis, Lingayat, Jain, Budhist, Kuruba and other swamis did not condemn his arrest and jailing Ñ except one or two. This is happening all over the world. It means the overwhelming Hindu religious leaders have approved the punishment meted out to him.

Not only that. No other Shankacharya of the recognised four peethas came in support of him. The Dwarka Shankaracharya expressed his happiness over the arrest.

Surrender of title: (9) Kanchi swami's followers themselves have demanded that in view of the very serious nature of the crime, he should voluntarily step down, surrendering his title which itself is without historical proof.

Warning to VVIPs: (10) The Kanchi swami's arrest is a warning to the President, PM and other dignitaries of the land that they should stop sitting under the feat of swamis who commit all sorts of crimes with the help of their religious garb.

Arrest of Sai Baba: (11) Now that the Kanchi swami was arrested on murder charges, we demand the similar arrest of the Satya Sai Baba also for his alleged murder of some six followers in his own bedroom in Puttaparti, some years ago.

Party of murderers: (12) The Hindu nazi party headed by RSS-BJP has come out in full defence of the Kanchi swami despite the grave charges including murder. They are saying that in view of his "eminent status", he should be exempted and treated separately. But the same party supported the Govt. of India move to send troops into Golden Temple and kill a more revered Sikh Sant Bhindranwale. It also engineered the demolition of Babri Masjid and consequent killing of hundreds of Muslims. In the Gujarat Genocide, the party was directly involved in the killing of Muslims.
This proves that the RSS-BJP is a party of murderers and that is why it is giving all-out support to Kanchi swami.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF A VAIDIK BLOOD FEUD
Is it a Vaishnava conspiracy to silence Kanchi swami ?

Bangalore: The arrest and detention of the Brahmin swami, Jayendra Saraswati, by the Brahmin Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu might have surprised many DV readers.
Some might have even suspected our oft repeated statement that Brahmins never go against Brahmins but they only stage mock fights, shadow boxing and when they fight, they mean only to dupe the non-Brahmins.

These doubts will be clear if they know that what is visible is only the tip of the iceberg. Many highly guarded secrets will be out by knowing a simple fact that though the Bangalore Papatti and the Jayendra Saraswati are both Brahmins, the former is a neo-Vaishnavite and Jayendra is a Shaiva. The Vaishnava-Shaiva rivalry is very ancient and very deep. Jayendra wants to become a central point but the Vaishnava Brahmins are very much opposed to this.

Babri dispute
Some six months back he had made an adverse comment on the workings of the famous Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. The Vaishnava Hindu nazis had retorted: "Being a Shaiva you have no right to comment upon a Vaishnava temple".

Of all the godmen, it was Jayendra who mediated between the hard-core Vaishnava Ramjanambhoomi promoters and the soft-peddling Muslims in order to bring about a negotiated settlement of the contentious Babri Masjid dispute. At that time, he was not told that being a Shaiva Brahmin he had no right to interfere in the mater related to the Rama temple, and Rama is an avatar of Vishnu and hence a Vaishnava. The Vaishnava Brahmins were not happy with the Kanchi fellow's meddling. However, they did not express resentment but carefully watched the Kanchi's moods and movements.

We may recall that 2-3 years back when there was an earthquake in Himalaya regions many Shaiva priests of Ayodhya had said it was the result of Shiva's stamping of his foot at Kailas out of anger for the destruction of over 1,000 Shiva temples in Ayodhya to build the extended Ramajanambhoomi complex. This was kept hidden for long. The fact of many smaller temples being bulldozed had come, but these were Shiva temples was known only then.

Shaiva swamis out of Babri dispute
These secretly guarded truths took over a decade to come out. In their zeal of anti-Muslimism, both Shaiva and Vaishnava acharyas had come together to demolish Babri Masjid and once the object was achieved the Vaishnava swamis ditched the Shaivas by demolishing Shiva temples. The Shaiva Shankaracharyas became cautious but it was too late.

The only thing they could do was to slowly dissociate themselves from the Ramjanambhoomi movement. The Dwarka swami was the first, followed by the Puri swami. But the Kanchi swami being a South Indian and hence more cunning than the others started a secret campaign to mobilize all the four important Shankaracharyas to stand up for the common cause of protecting the Shaiva Brahminism from Vaishnava Brahminism. He too started feeling that Muslims are a strong wall against the attacks of Vaishnava Brahmins is against the Shaiva Brahmins.

Vaishnavas in the Hindu nazi camps started feeling very uncomfortable. One by one, the Shaivites in their camp ÑÊShankar Singh Waghela, Venkatagiri Gowda Ñ rebelled. Shaiva Uma Bharti is becoming the greatest headache. Vaishnava Brahmins found to their discomfort that in spite of a Vaishnava M.K. Gandhi having been projected to promote Vaishnava Brahminism, the leadership was taken over by Shaiva Brahmins throughout with the exception of Morarji Desai and P.V. Narasimha Rao, both Vaishnavas, to become Prime Ministers. Nehru, Indira Gandhi and even Vajpayee are Shaiva Brahmins. Narasimha Rao is the only Prime Minister who in spite of all possible crimes was never criticised by the Brahmin media while there were criticisms of Nehru, Indira Gandhi and even Vajapyee.

The Shaiva Shankaracharyas had a solace that the top leaders are their people. And they got alarmed, when Shaiva Vajpayee was sought to be replaced by Vaishnava Murli Manohar Joshi and even Vaishnava Lal Krishna Advani in spite of the latter being a Sindhi Khatri. They felt assured that a Khatri Vaishnava is better than a Shaiva Brahmin, just as a Vaishnava Gandhi was in spite of his being a Vaishya.

Shiva as original god
The Shaivas in the Hindu nazi camp are very uneasy. They have been tolerating only with the fear that their mutual animosity, if exposed, will be disastrous to Brahminism and Brahmins of both varieties.
The original Indian religion was Shaivism based around the worship of a single, formless, shapeless god Shiva. The uncultured Aryans conquered India through treacheries. But on the cultural front they had to yield and adopt the Shiva cult just as the Roman conquerors of Greece had to yield to Greek thoughts. But the Aryan arrogance and treacheries devised a convenient means to culturally subdue the Indians. They divided godhood into three pieces respectively for Creation, Sustenance and Death and allocated the portfolios of Creation and Sustenance to Brahma and Vishnu but Shiva was provided the tragic, unwanted, horrible portfolio of death and destruction and made him a dweller of graveyards. They allocated a fair semi human shape to Vishnu and Black human shape to Shiva. With base of the drama they went on building myths and stories which need not be repeated here. They went on using the stories of Ramayana written by shudra Valmiki (hunter caste) and the Mahabharata by Shudra Vyasa (fisherman caste) to attract people.

Islamic kick
These fooleries were effective in those regions of India which are now in Pakistan. The Vaishnava cult developed in those regions full scale and with the first kick by Islam the entire Vaishnava cult collapsed. But in the rest of India, they could not create worshippers of Vishnu, the fair god, and therefore used regional myths and provided avatarhood of Vishnu to different regional mythical personalities like Rama, Krishna, Vamana, Parsurama. In the tribal regions where they could not provide human mythical personalities they provided animal avatarship of Vishnu like fish (matsya avatar), pig (varaha avatar), tortoise (kurma avatar) etc. They called this as Dashavataras (ten avatars).

However, they created only nine avatars so far, and kept the post of the tenth avatar vacant to fill up as and when needed. Some gave this portfolio to Budha to drag back Budhists. Some attributed this to Gandi. However, there is no consolidated opinion, as many feel that keeping this post vacant is more advantageous. The believers of these myths are Vaishnavas. The rest are Shaivas.
The Vaishnavas grew in large numbers in the North-Western regions of India which are now in Pakistan where Vaishnavism collapsed first before Islam and later before Sikhism.

Maratha move to quit Hinduism
In the rest of India over 90% of the so-called followers of Hinduism are Shaivas like in Bengal, Assam, Kashmir, Orissa and the whole of South India including Maharashtra where the Marathas have now decided to quit Hinduism and convert to Shiva Dharma or Shaivism. The matter in this case ought to be not conversion but reversion.

The Vaishnava Brahmins have taken all opportunities to perpetuate Vaishnava dharma as it is better capable of exploiting the people than the Shiva Dharma.

They used the peaceful and tolerant atmosphere of Akbar's days to propagate Vaishnavism through Meera Bai. Among the Shaiva Rajputs in Rajasthan, Chaitanya in Bengal, Tulsi Das in UP and a Shudra Kanakadasa in South India. For his services, Kanakadasa was provided with a gopur in the Udupi Krishna (Vaishnava) temple. But recently this was demolished and agitation is going on by the Kuruba caste to which Kanakadasa belonged.

Babri Masjid
This also is an aftermath of boldness of the Vaishnava Brahmins which also might have frightened Kanchi Shankaracharya and other Shaivites.

In the second half of 19th century with the establishment of British might in India, the Vaishnava Brahmins again attempted to promote Vaishnavism through the Arya Samaj, Brahmo Samaj, Prarthana Samaj etc. on the cultural and religious side. And through the Congress, Hindu Mahasabha, etc. on the political side. And after "independence", Vaishnavism is being promoted through RSS, BJP on the political side and on the cultural side through VHP, ISKCON (Krishna cult), Ramjanam Bhoomi (Rama cult).

With the demolition of Babri Masjid, Vaishnava Brahmins felt reassured against Muslims and that is how they are now after the greater and more potential Shaivas.
Adi Shankara philosophy

The Shaivas are alarmed. They recall to their minds that long back Budha was allocated the tenth avatar in the eighth century and Budhists of South India were sought to be dragged under Vaishnava Brahmins. A young Shaiva Brahmin by name Adi Shankara from Kaladi in Kerala got cautioned and borrowing Greek philosophy from Syrian Christians and the concept of the oneness and omnipresence of god from Muslim sufies, he philosophised the Shaiva Brahmin concepts for the first time. This is called Advaita.

He made three-pronged efforts by projecting the Advaita concept where the bhoodeva aspect of Brahmin was diluted, saying that god is one and present in everyone. Through this he intended to prevent Dalits and Shudras from converting to Islam where Islam was the earliest to come and being adopted by Dalits and Shudras.

By destroying Budha Viharas right under his nose and killing Budhists, he prevented them from going under Vaishnava Brahmins (Violence in Hinduism, Prof. K.S. Bhagawan).
By establishing four mutts in four corners of India Ñ Sringeri in Karnataka, Dwarka in Gujarat, Puri in Orissa and Badrinath in the Himalayas Ñ he sought to protect Shaivism against Vaishnavism. For this reason, he is called the Adi Shankara (original/earliest) Shankara. Adi Shankara lived from 788 to 820 AD.

Madhwacharya mischief
Since then more vigorous efforts have been made by the Vaishnava Brahmins against the Shaiva Brahmins.

A Vaishnava, Madhwacharya repudiated the teachings of Adi Shankara in the 12th century. Another Vaishnava Ramanuja also came forward to promote neo-Vaishnavism in Tamil Nadu. All these areas were and are the heartlands of Shaivism. On the northern side, the most important Shiva centre in Gujarat next to Dwarka was the Somnath temple. This got destroyed by the Vaishnava Brahmins through Mahmood Ghazni. From 13th century to 20th century as India was ruled by Muslims and British and both adopted the policy of noninterference in religions there was peace. The Vaishnava Brahmins could not play any mischief. But after "independence" other outright non-Brahmin (non-vaidik) religions like Islam, Sikhism, Christianity have been tamed and Budhism, Jainism and Veerashivism were swallowed. The onslaught now is going against Shaivism of which Shiva is the central point. Secret planning is already made and slowly executed. The Kanchi swami has realised this and became cautious.

The rebellions by non-Brahmin Shaivas in BJP has become alarming. The Vaishnavas feared that the greatest schemer is the Kanchi swami and therefore before he becomes a focal point, he should be nipped in the bud.

The two vaidik mantras of sama (false praise) and dana (gifts) have not tamed him and therefore the other two mantrasÑbedha (character assassination) and danda (beating) must be together applied.
So the Aryavarta Vaishnava Brahmins conspired with the South Indian neo-Vaishnava, Bangalore Papatti, to put a dam before the deluge starts. Many South Indian Dalit and Shudra scholars are well aware of this Shaiva-Vaishnava contradiction but we are not sure of such knowledge of the North Indian Dalits and Shudras.

Dedication to N.K. Sharma
However, we had a regular contributor and friend, N.K. Sharma from Delhi, whose number of articles relating to these conflicts and contradictions were published in the early days of DV. We do not know about the whereabouts of Brother Sharma, an Andhra Dalit. However, we take this opportunity to remember him and dedicate this piece to him.
Both the castles of Brahminic Vaishnavism and Shaivism are built upon sand. Both require to be demolished. This contradiction must be properly utilised. Dalit Voice cannot be wrong. It is possible that suddenly they may drop all charges against him after an assurance of silence an submission. A vaidik empire built on fraud

The question whether the Kanchi Mutt was established by Adi Sankara himself is a controversial one. It is generally accepted as tradition that Adi Sankara, the famous Advaita philosopher, founded four mutts in the four corners of India at Sringeri in the South, Puri in the East, Dwaraka in the West and Badrinath in the North.

Tradition also holds that he ascended the famous saravagna-pitha (throne of omniscience) in Kashmir and he finally passed away near Kedarnath. However, the Kanchi mutt claims that Sankara established a fifth mutt in Kanchi, with jurisdiction over the recognised four Mutts and that Sankara ascended the sarvagna-pitha not in Kashmir but at Kanchi. The Mutt also claims that he passed away not in Kedarnath, but at Kanchi.

Some historians claim that the Kanchi Mutt was established much after Adi Sankara's time, some time in the 19th century, and that the history of the Mutt has been invented. They argue that it is only in 20th century chronicles, which were compiled after Chandrasekharendra Saraswati became the Sankaracharya, that the history of the Kanchipuram Mutt finds mention and that history preceding the 19th century has been rewritten. The Mutt claims, instead, that the Sankaracharya did spend his last few years at Kanchi, established the Mutt and that Sureswaracharya, Sankara's prime disciple, was placed in charge of it. Interestingly the Sringeri Mutt ÑÊone of the undisputed original Mutts Ñ also claims Sureshwaracharya as its first pontiff. There is also controversy surrounding the time when Sankarachari lived. The records at the Mutt say he lived around 500 BC but historians place him around the 8th century AD.

Judgements from the High Courts and Supreme Court have repeatedly observed that the Sankaracharya established only four mutts.

A 1933 Bombay High Court judgment stated "it is not disputed that the religious reformer Sankara, about the eight century AD, established four mutts or monasteries for sanyasis and ascetics in the north, south, east and west of India.
