India getting ripe for class-caste bloody revolutionOUR CORRESPONDENT Bangalore: Finance Minister Chidambaram, belonging to Tamil Nadu’s money-lending Chettiar jati, is the darling of India’s upper castes (read ruling class). He is doing everything to promote his class-caste. This is natural. But once in a way he speaks out the truth but India’s national toilet papers promptly blackout such inconvenient truth. One such unpleasant truth which this multi-millionaire Chettiar blurted out was published by only one paper, the Hindu (Dec.18, 2007). That means the Chettiar knows the Truth and like all good Hindus he also knows that the Truth should never be said in public: CASTE KILLING INDIAMadras: Union Finance Minister Chidambaram on Dec.17 made a strong case for dismantling “the old hierarchy of caste” that pervaded every aspect of economic activity, and making opportunities equal to everyone. Speaking at the Madras High Court, he said beneath the sheen of India’s current growth rate of 8.6%, “we’ll find that the old hierarchy of caste was being replicated in every aspect of the economy”. India’s growth was hardly inclusive if judged against the ratio of women, Muslims, Dalits across occupations ranging from medicine to law. The mean growth rate was also spatially skewed with some parts of India growing at 10-12% while several others touched a bare 4%. About 1 crore children who reached the age of five in the country every year did not enrol in schools. In UP alone, around 10 lakh children did not go to school and in 10 years the proportion of illiterate and unskilled youth there would touch 1 crore. SAVARNA SERVICESomewhere else he throws around a few interesting figures. The Chettiar said 55% of our economy comprises “service sector” — software, BPO, hotels, finance, banks, airlines etc. This service sector employes only the Brahminical savarnas and so we can rightly call it the savarna service sector. Bahujans are excluded from this sector through the dynamics of manuwadi caste apartheid. Today, this savarna service sector is the biggest sector employing the Brahminical rich and “middle class” parasites. If Mayawati asks for any private sector reservation in this savarna service sector, they will do anything to get rid of her. What about the Bahujan-dominated agricultural sector? This sector is stagnant and it is only a miserable 17% of the economy. In fact, farmers are committing suicide and farming sector is actually shrinking and on the verge of collapse. However, most significantly it is this sinking agricultural primary sector which employs around 70% of mostly Bahujan masses in the age group of 19-24 years. They have very poor education levels of barely SSC level or even below. Most are illiterate. Now the biggest economic problem giving nightmares to the Brahminical rulers is how to take this chunk of 70% of the Bahujan farm illiterates and push them into the manufacturing sector (which is a mere 28% right now) and make manufacturing sector the biggest employer. Obviously, it is simply impossible to take this chunk of 70% of the population and make them skilled fitters and welders all of a sudden because the Brahminical classes themselves kept the Bahujans illiterate deliberately. BRAHMIN SLEEP DISTURBEDThe worst thing is that if this 70% population in the very young and restless age group of 19-24 years is unemployed, they will soon grow angry and simply invade the cities en masse. This is disturbing the sleep of the Bhoodevatas. Add to this, the shortage of women and the consequent sexual frustration which will add fuel to this fire as well as the shrinking water table and desertification of land due to the bad effects of nitrogenous fertilisers introduced during the notorious Tamil Iyer Swaminathan of the Green Revolution fame If and when an economic collapse takes place, all the above mentioned sectors will shrink all of a sudden. The biggest shrinkage and rentrenchment will occur in the savarna service sector. CLASS-CASTE REVOLUTIONThat will step up the caste-class struggle. And that is what we want. That is how we said India has become ungovernable. An anarchic all-India caste-class war may erupt with caste-based ethnic cleansing. By the year 2018 or so, India may become a total anarchy from today’s “functioning anarchy”. The Indian army itself may be affected and may split on caste lines leading to caste-class revolution. We predicted this also long back. However, remember, we cannot underestimate the armed might of the Brahminical state. If we are to succeed and set up a dictatorship of the revolutionary Bahujan socialist masses, we have to answer this fundamental question. To bring down the Brahminical scaffolding, we have to rebuild Babri Masjid, liberate Bodh Gaya, destroy the Brahminical apartheid temple system. That will be a socio-cultural revolution. It is not a purely economic one. KILLLING GIRL CHILD Shrinking female population may force Hindus to keep Dalit sex slavesOUR CORRESPONDENT Bangalore: Due to shortage of women, upper caste Brahminical males are planning to use Bahujan women as “Draupadi”-style sex slaves even as they continue barbarically mass murder their own daughters through female foeticide. They think this is their god-given birthright. So we may expect an all-India caste war to break out very soon over shrinking water table and shrinking female population. When the Bahujans start retaliating, the savarnas will have to summon their only sons to perform their last rites, so that they can attain their moksha. According to a Brahmin reporter, Vineeta Pandey, in the DNA a crisis is brewing within the Brahmins. Gender testing machine: To stop doctors from indulging in female foeticide, the govt. is planning to award life imprisonment to those flouting the law. During a meeting of the Central Advisory Board, the Union Health and Women and Child Development (WCD) ministries toyed with the idea of increasing the present penalty of a maximum of seven years to life term. “Female foeticide should be treated as a crime and not just a social evil. State action must be primarily corrective, preventive and punitive to correct the crime,” said a WCD ministry official. The govt. is also planning to keep an eye on the income and tax returns filed by doctors and ultrasonologists. “The income of genetic counselling centres should be cross checked with the number of ultrasounds conducted by them so that unreported ultrasounds can be tracked. There should be a firm crackdown on offenders with exemplary punishments,” said the official. Clinics should maintain all records of ultrasounds and submit all information required under Form F. Meanwhile, it has proposed a ban on home gender testing kits, which are being openly sold in Indian market. Sexual slavery in India: These kits are being sold by doctors who conduct online sex determination tests in connivance with laboratories in the US. The gender determination of the foetus is conducted through a blood test as early as five weeks. The result is known within three days by mailing the test to labs in the US. Pre-natal sex selection in India is leading to skewed sex ratios resulting in a greater demand for young women trafficked from “lower castes” and abroad, who are then forced into household sexual slavery, a UN body has said. In households that cannot afford more than one woman, she is often referred to as a Draupadi and is sometimes forced to provide sexual service not only to her husband but also his brothers and male relatives, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has said. Hindu meaning of non-violence: There are between 40 and 50 million ‘missing’ girls-children who were never born because they were either aborted or killed soon after birth. The Hindus, meaning the 15% upper caste rulers, have advertised that their religion of Brahminism (disguising as Hinduism) is the only one in the world noted for ahimsa (non-violence). Delhi doctor’s crime: Indian women are killing unborn daughters to have more boys, the BBC Asian Network says. The Oxford University study suggests 1,500 girls are missing from the birth statistics in England and Wales from 1990 to 2005. It shows the proportion of boys compared with girls born to Indian-born mothers has increased since 1970s. To see how difficult it is to find a doctor willing to carry out the service, the BBC sent a British couple to one of Delhi’s top gynaecologists, Dr. Mangala Telang. Dr. Telang, an IVF treatment specialist, has practised in some of Delhi’s top hospitals. Her clinic would offer ultrasound scans to determine the sex of a baby — even though a sign in the waiting room clearly said it was illegal. Secret filming shows that within minutes, he agreed to perform the scan. She warns the couple not to tell anyone about what they were doing as it was illegal. An estimated 7 million girls have gone missing from India’s population over the last 25 years. Some of them will have been killed after they were born, or allowed to die within their first few days. But most of them will have been aborted. Brahmin Prachanda betrays Nepal revolutionOUR CRRESPONDENT Bangalore: We have already reported how the Brahmin Prachanda pimped Maoism and betrayed the revolution. But may be the truth bears repetition. Dalit Voice was the first and only journal to successfully predict that Prachanda will betray Maoism. The French Maoist Party has already denounced Prachanda as a revisionist. We not only predicted this before the French Maoist Party, but also said this openly and criticised Prachanda by name. A report from Outlook magazine talks of Prachanda’s love of designer labels and the good life : * Has put on 15 kg, gels his hair, sports a Stalinesque moustache and loves his blazers * Wears a Rado watch (worth Rs 2 lakh only), is driven in a Pajero, loves designer shades * Drinks two pegs of Scotch whisky every evening. Cannot resist fried chicken. * Appointed his son to the party’s regional bureau. His daughter too holds a key post. * A borderline hypertension case, he suffers from a persecution complex. Excessive drinking: It was a little less than two years ago Prachanda, chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M), came out of the bush, riding the crest of a popular wave that compelled King Gyanendra to retreat behind palace walls and restore democracy. Since then, Nepal has changed remarkably. But so has Prachanda. Abnegation no longer seems to be his personal philosophy, empathy with the masses isn’t his defining personality trait and that endearing quality of altruism has ceased to be his life’s leitmotif . The change in Prachanda has manifested even physically—his makeover is so drastic his comrades from those early years in the bush might even fail to recognise him. The ‘Che of Nepal’ has, in the last 20 months, gained 15 kg in weight, sports a Stalinesque moustache and gels his hair. He keeps it tightly combed back, and he constantly and consciously runs his fingers through it in public. Perhaps Prachanda has gained weight because his life in Kathmandu bears little resemblance to the 23 years he spent underground, shifting from one hideout to another under the cover of darkness. He, no doubt, still bustles around in the city, but it is now in an air-conditioned Pajero, escorted by a fleet of cars, reportedly commandeered from their owners. You could say the paraphernalia is required for security reasons. But then, as some Maoist leaders ask, of what purpose is the Rado watch (worth Rs 2 lakh) that he sports? Or, for that matter, the blazers and designer shades he wears , in sharp contrast to the threadbare dress of Maoist cadres? Perhaps the Rado watch symbolises the dramatic change in the quality of time for Prachanda. He was always known to love his liquor, his indulgence at times embarrassing his comrades. Late Nirmal Lama, who was with Prachanda in a communist formation before the CPN-M was formed in 1995, once said in an interview, “I do drink sometimes but my comrades are known for excessive drinking.” His remark was widely perceived as a jibe against Prachanda, who has now shifted from the local brew to two measured pegs of Johnny Walker (Red Label) every evening. INDIA SHINING India starved of power New Delhi: Against a target of adding over 10,000 MW of electricity generating capacity during the first half of 2007, only 2,645 MW has gone on stream. And even this capacity had been slated for commissioning the previous year. India’s track record in adding capacity continues to be abysmal. Its target is to add about 78,000 MW in the Eleventh Plan (2007-12) and industry representatives point out, with a mixed feeling of awe and despair, that China added more than this figure in a single year. The reasons for capacity addition targets not being met in the previous plan periods — limited equipment manufacturing capacity, delays in obtaining various approvals, including environment and techno-economic clearance — still remain, despite the greater degree of preparedness Ministry now exhibits. Capacity constraints in equipment manufacturing are the main reason for the delays in capacity addition. The public sector BHEL still remains the country’s largest equipment supplier. We regularly read your Dalit Voice website. We studied your books and columns. We are also regular reader of Dalit Voice through the net. To spread Babasaheb’s thoughts among Pakistani Dalits, we are publishing a trimonthly, Dalit Adab (Dalit literature). In 2007, we brought out three issues of Dalit Adab. This is a serious beginning of the first step (Educate) as suggested by Babasaheb. Our aim is to recognize the “Dalit identity” and to create awareness of agitation for social political and human rights of Pak Dalits. Our rulers may not be Brahmin but there is no major difference in the conditions of Pakistan and Indian Dalits. Because a feudal class is playing the role of Brahmins here. Housing, bonded labour issue, social inequality are the major problems facing us. Hindu leadership and Sindhi nationalism supported and donated by Ram Jethmalani are the other two problems facing our people. As in India, our Dalits are also not following the “Three Commandments” of Babasaheb. Our “middle class leadership” and the many “letter pad organisations” have failed because they did not follow the very first commandment: Educate. Besides, many NGOs are playing Dalit card to confuse the Dalits. In these conditions we are publishing the Dalit Adab without any help or donation from any source. In the first issue of March 2007 we published the translation of “Ambedkar thought” translated by Kurshid Qaimkhani (a noted Gyspy writer and scholar). He is also translating Dr. Kancha Ilaiah’s book, Why I am Not a Hindu? I translated your booklet, When Dalits Disobeyed the Final Words of Their Father, and published it in two parts in Dalit Adab without your permission. We hope you will not mind it. We are publishing this magazine in Sindhi because the majority of Pakistan Dalits are from Sindh province of Pakistan. In the next issue, we will publish your interview and first part of your book, Aggression on Indian Culture. We are working exactly on your lines and that is why we are facing many problems (financial etc.) But with our dedication to Truth and Justice we will succeed. We only need your support. We want to translate your books and publish it in Dalit Adab. We need a full set of your books. We wanted to meet you at Lahore when you came to Pakistan but failed because we too were celebrating the birthday of Babasaheb at the Hyderabad Press Club (Sindh).
