Hinduising non-Hindus?
A CORRESPONDENT
Madras: A report says one of the first things the DMK Govt.
did after coming to power was to ensure that priesthood in Hindu
temples was no longer the preserve of Brahmins alone. Now, caste
is no longer a barrier to become a priest leaving the Brahmins
in TN silently fuming once again. From now onwards, anybody who
undergoes training in the “holy texts” can become a
priest. “Only people trained in Agama rules and
who know the Vedas and Sanskrit, if all the poojas are
performed in Sanskrit, can go inside and do poojas. There
is nothing wrong in it”, said T.K.S. Elangovan, organising
secretary, DMK. “We have got references and evidences from
history that we are all children of god and anybody can become
a priest and worship god if he knows the method”, said an
Amarnath historian.

The DMK Govt. move may please some non-Brahmins
but the Tamil Brahmins are capable of fighting its move with
the help of their Brahminical higher judiciary. Karunanidhi says
he is a follower of Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy, one India’s
greatest revolutionaries, who entered the Brahmin temples, and
hit the idols with the old chappals. His campaign against Brahminical
temples was intended to destroy the very faith of the SC/ST/BCs
in the Brahminical gods and religion. But Karunanidhi move is
a compromise. He is not against Brahmin gods and temples. He
wants the indigenous non-Hindus to worship the same Brahmin gods
and learn their dead language, Sanskrit. This amounts to hinduising the
non-Hindu indigenous people. This is what the Hindu terrorist
parties (RSS/BJP) are also doing. Brahmins must be silently enjoying
the joke — EDITOR.

Three Gujaratis were responsible for the partition of India: (1)
Mohammed Ali Jinnah. He had nothing to do with Islam. He followed
Western culture. His wife was Parsi. He was a good lawyer but a
bad leader. Many Muslims stood for undivided India but he wanted
to become a Governor General. He did not bother about Muslims who
continued their stay in India. (2) Vallabhbhai Patel from South
Gujarat was called an “iron man”. He bribed many kings
of India but could not convince Jinnah about the integrity of India.
He wanted to become the Prime Minister of India. He died of shock
and misery. (3) M.K. Gandhi was a good Gujarati. He fought the
Britishers but could not see the problems of Hindus and Muslims.
He had no vision. A Chitpavan Brahmin killed him. Gujaratis are
communal. They hide their evil thoughts behind their sophisticated
business-like behaviour. They do not slaughter animals but they
do not mind killing human beings. Narendra Modi gets votes for
killing Muslims and Dalits.
