"Caste struggle" within "class struggle"

OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore: A great news has come from Kerala about a "caste struggle" within the Marxist Party (CPM) allegedly wedded to "class struggle". The upper caste (Brahmin, Nair, Syrian Christian) leadership of the Manuwadi marxist party crushed and "killed" V.S. Achutanandan (VS), the powerful Backward Caste Ezhava leader in the latest state party elections. He deserves the kick like Mrs. K.R. Gowri who too was hounded out of the party by the same Manuwadis. The toddy-tapper Ezhavas (30%) form Kerala's single largest caste continuously voting for CPM and keeping the Manuwadis in power. The Ezhavas failed to heed their religious leader, Sri Narayanan Guru's advice and also served their Hindu enemies. The moment you say you are Hindu, you come under the Brahmin leadership.

Gowriamma, addicted to marxism, loyally served the CPM and made her jatwalas to elect CPM to power several times. But having got the Ezhava votes because of Gowriamma, its upper caste leadership continued to keep her out of chief ministership. After decades of loyally serving the Hindus, Gowriamma finally got fed up and bowed out.

VS meets the same fate today having not learnt any lessons from the fall of Gowriamma. Will he now go back to his jati and strengthen its identity? This is also doubtful as the marxist injection has gone deep into his blood.

The fall of Gowriamma and VS offers yet another proof that marxism is used in India to strengthen Brahminism. (V.T. Rajshekar, How Marx Failed in Hindu India?, DSA-1988).

Bush disaster in Europe
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore: The world's most famous undemocratic giant in a hurry to "establish democracy and spread liberty" in Muslim countries came to Europe in February begging for support but the visit of George W. Bush turned out to be a disaster though nobody admits it. This is called diplomacy.

Bush, who was pouncing on everybody during his first term as President, behaved like a pussy cast in his second term and begged support from European leaders for his two major demands: Iran and China. He was threatening to attack Iran "for producing bomb". European leaders used diplomatic language to say no. He asked European leaders to stop selling arms to China but he was again told no. On both counts Bush was ambushed.

Iran making bomb: Even Russia's Putin, who met Bush in Europe and agreed not to sell nuclear materials to Iran, broke the promise the very second day and signed an agreement with Iran. The Europe visit turned out to be a slap on the face of Bush.

All this proves how much the European leaders hate Bush and the arrogant American ruling class behaving like a big bully. Iran went on publicly assuring that its nuclear ambitions remained peaceful but secretly making the bomb. This is diplomacy.

As long as the zionist-controlled American ruling class goes on backing Israeli aggression on Palestine and thus disturbing peace in the whole world, Europe, Iran, China and the rest of the world have every right to defy America. Today, the one single biggest problem facing the world is America.

Blacks persecuted in US: If world leaders don't collectively tame US, the big bully will not only foment division of Europe thereby coming in the way of European Union but go on attacking Muslim countries and destroying world peace. It is a threat to China also. Who asked Bush to "democratise" Muslim countries when his own country is persecuting Blacks inside the US and destroying democracy in Iraq?
Bush returned disappointed Ñ paying the price for his arrogance.

US-imposed peace pact collapses
OUR CORRESPONDENT

Bangalore: Did we not predict that the "Palestine-Israel peace pact bound to fail?" (DV March 1, 2005 .5). We have proved right.

On Feb.25 night, a suicide bomber killed four Jews and injured 30 more in a Tel Aviv night club. With that the American-imposed cease-fire pact between Palestine and Israel has gone to dogs. It was signed in the first week of February and collapsed within a month.

We had also said that the newly-elect Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas was a weak person and he had signed the agreement without consulting the militant groups which had suffered and sacrificed so much to fight the Israeli aggression.

Israel blamed Hezbollah for this latest suicide attack. But Hezbollah, backed by Syria and Iran, denied any role in the attack.

West Asia conflict expands: America recently included Syria also in its growing list of attacks on Muslim countries forcing Syria to get closer to Iran. Lebanon has every reason to be angry with Israel for occupying part of its territory which it vacated after international pressure. In the February third week Rafik Hariri, Lebanon's former Prime Minister, was assassinated in Beirut and Lebanese people blamed Syria. They are also asking Syria to withdraw troops from its land ÑÊa demand supported by America.

All these boils down to one single point. Israel is the cause of not only the world's longest war and violence in the whole of West Asia but the zionist state is the cause of all the trouble in the world.

LATEST BOOK
SHAPE OF THE THINGS TO COME
V.T. Rajshekar

Fears of the East over the tantrums of the West
V.T. Rajshekar's first book on international affairs has several warnings to the thinking people of the East. It predicts the shape of the things to come in the second half of the 21st century and expresses fears of Asia and Africa over the tantrums of the West Ñ mainly the intoxicated imperialist America.

In this seminal book studded with rare insights and flashes of brilliance, he covers the latest developments in the whole world which America wants to rule but is resisted by the oppressed nations led by the Blacks (Africa), the Black Untouchables (India), Browns (Muslims) and the Yellows (China).
Such a "Clash of Civilisations" is graphically pictured in this book to warn the innocent victims of this bloody civilisational war.

In this extremely provocative book, yet firmly based on Justice and Truth, the author makes several prophetic predictions Ñmany of which have already come true.

V.T. Rajshekar, hailed as India's most original thinker, is the author of dozens of books and currently editor of the country's most powerful journal, Dalit Voice ÑÊthe Voice of the suppressed Black Untouchables and the other slaves of India.
