China as hope of Third World
V.T. RAJSHEKAR
[Speech delivered at the India-China Friendship Association
(ICFA) seminar in Bangalore on April 2, 2005 on the occasion of the
meeting
of its national executive. Song Dehang, the Counsul-General of China
at Bombay, was the chief guest. Kosala Ramdas, national president
of the ICFA, presided.]
On the eve of the visit of the Chinese Prime
Minister to India and Bangalore in particular, as the first president
of the India-China
Friendship Association, Karnataka, I want to place before His Excellency
the Consul-General Song Dehang our views and we want him to convey
these feelings to the visiting PM and the top Chinese leadership.
I
led two delegations to China — first a delegation of the
ICFA and later a delegation of India's Untouchables. Both the visits
were made long back before my passport was impounded.
We toured
the whole China and were mightily impressed by your country's progress.
Since
the last 25 years China has made tremendous progress and as per
World Bank estimates, China is expected to emerge as the
No.1
country
in the world.
RULING CLASS HEART IN AMERICA
We are happy about this development and as Editor of Dalit
Voice, India's oldest and the largest circulated journal
of Dalits—the country's
poorest of the poor— we are proud to assure you that
the Dalits of India will be the best and the surest friends
of China and we have
great hopes that your country's revolutionary leadership
will not forget India's Dalits, Backward Castes, Tribals,
Muslims, Christians and other
oppressed people of India — comprising over 85% of
its population.
We are of the firm opinion that China is
the hope of the
Third World. And we want China to live up to our expectations.
India's
ruling class is not interested in China. Its heart is in America.
This ruling class comprising less than 15% of our population
is not only not interested in China but it is also not
interested in us.
Though India became "independent" in
1947 and China two years later, China has beaten India and today
China is thousands of miles
ahead of us.
AMERICA AFRAID OF CHINA
Why India can never, ever overtake China, I have analysed
in detail in a signed article in Dalit Voice — a
reprint of which is already distributed. (DV April 16,
2005 p.22: "India can never, ever overtake
China because of caste system").
I don't want to
go into this subject which is elaborately discussed in
this article. India's upper caste leadership is not allowing
our country's progress.
Whatever may be India's ruling class attitude to China,
I want to assure that the entire oppressed sections
of India,
over
85% of its
1,000
million population, are firmly with China.
Whatever the jaundiced minds may say, China's socialist
experiments are a marvel of the world.
We understand China has become a major world power.
If there is one country which America, the sole super
power,
is afraid
of in
the
world, it is China.
As a major world power, fast emerging
as the world's no.1 power, China has to bear in mind the conflicting interests in different
parts of the First World, Second World and the Third World.
HUMAN
RIGHTS IN CHINA
But we in India are in the Third World but I am afraid if India's ruling class exploitation continues
unchecked, India may descend from the Third World to the Fourth World. (cheers). This
danger is there and we are experiencing it daily.
America often talks about human rights abuses in China but it hardly bothers
about the daily human rights violations inside India. Brother Gunasheelan, a noted Dalit writer and a
former general secretary of the ICFA, Karnataka, has been in Bangalore jail for several years.
He is rotting in the jail with hardly any charges against him. I have met the former Chief Minister
and a former Home Minister of Karnataka but both pleaded helplessness as the case was hoisted by the Tamil Nadu Govt.
I read in the paper that last week Vaiko, a prominent political leader of TN, met the present CM in
this connection and the CM has promised to look into Guna's case. Hundreds of thousands like Guna are rotting
in different jails of India without any charges.
I
request Minister M.P. Prakash and ex-minister Kagodu Thimmappa
to take note of our feelings
and see that
Guna is released
from the jail
as all the charges against him are false.
Coming back to the subject that "China as the hope of the
Third World", I want to remind China about the role played
by America in establishing itself as the new imperial power —out
to establish its global hegemony.
The zionist-controlled
Neo-Conservatives are managing the Bush Administration. Already
they
have accomplished
their
mission
by virtually controlling
the West Asian Muslim countries. Europe has
been sidelined. And zionist Israel has virtually
swallowed
the whole
of Palestine.
Our information is that it is
the zionists who are behind the spread of AIDS disease
to control
the
Blacks in Africa
and
the bird flue
which recently rattled China.
The only obstacle before this sole single
super power for world domination is China.
To
give all sorts of pinpricks to China, America is creating trouble
in Taiwan,
North Korea
and encouraging the Dalai
Lama.
China is very wisely, tactfully and also
diplomatically tackling all these problems.
The Dalai Lama recently said that Tibet
belonged to China and that he was looking
forward
to his visit to China.
DALAI LAMA IS U.S.
AGENT
India committed a serious blunder in
offering asylum to Dalai Lama. This
fellow is an
American agent
and China must never
trust him.
America, having almost completed its
mission of global domination, the only
challenge
before it
is China.
So, it is in this connection we want
to remind China that it has the solid
support
from
the entire Third
World comprising
India's
Dalits
and other oppressed. Africa, Latin
America and the entire Muslim
world.
Even the Europeans are getting closer
to China.
The coming days will see a furious
flare-up in the zionist-led Neo-Con
pressure against
China.
As a preparation to meet this challenge
and see that peace and justice are
established in the
world, we
want China
not to disappoint
the
oppressed peoples of India and the
Third World.
As a student of international
affairs, I am deeply perturbed by the recent
developments — particularly
after George W. Bush took over as
president. The United Nations has
been weakened.
Sovereignty of many countries is
threatened.
Peoples belonging to the
Third World are looking to China
as the only
hope.
And we want you to convey this to
your leadership.
Long live India-China friendship.

BOOK REVIEW : JHUTH NA BOL PANDEY
Dalit scholar saves Sikhism from
jaws of Brahminism
DR. R.P. HARSH, HARSH CLINIC, BARNALA
ROAD, SIRSA - 125 055
Prof. Gurnam
Singh is a famous Punjabi writer. He is not only an honest
Sikh but also an
honest Ambedkarite.
Jhuth
Na Bol
Pandey is his latest
contribution to prove his honesty.
He
does not hesitate to admit that he is not good in Hindi. But for
us his
Hindi
is not
important but the
intentions
and the
spirit behind
his writings are more significant.
Over 90% Sikhs do not know even
the meaning
of the
words Sikh
and Sikhism.
Brahminical
forces are
shrewd, cunning and hence take
full advantage of
the Sikh ignorance.
They have
planted the Dasam Granth (in the
name of gurus) which is against
the spirit
of Sikhism
to engineer
clashes
between
Jats and
Dalits.
The Jats are our brothers.
The Sikhs are swallowing falsehood
in the name
of Sikhism
and Sikh revolution.
The intention
of the author
is
to write on the true spirit of
Sikhism.
NANAK NOT SIKH FOUNDER
He has given plenty of references
from the Adi Granth, the sacred
book of
Sikhism, to
expose
the truth and
destroy the
falsehood.
Jhuth Na Bol Pande, therefore,
proves:
1. Guru Nanak was not the founder
of Sikh Lahar (revolution).
2. The Untouchable saints and
Bhagats were the real founders
of the Sikh
revolution.
3. Nanak and all other gurus
called them as: saints, Bhagat,
Guru,
satguru and
Brahma Gyani.
4. The prominent satgurs were:
Nam Dev (Chheepa), Kabir (Julaha),
Ravi
Dass
(Chamar), Sain
(Nai), Trilochan (Sudra).
5. The Sikh revolution was
against Brahminism.
6. Nanak rejected every thing
of Brahmin origin: sacred documents,
customs,
Devi-Devtas, language, "sacred thread".
He did not get education from Brahmins.
7. Rama has nothing to do with
Sikhism.
8. Akal Purukh of Sikhism has
nothing to do with Brahma,
Vishnu, Mahesh.
9. Muslims are not the enemies
of Sikhism.
10. Budhism is the "spirit" of Sikh revolution.
FAMOUS SLOGAN OF GURU NANAK
The book is so important that
I want it to go into other
Indian languages.
Jhuth Na
Bol Pande is the famous slogan of Guru Nanak.
It is
recorded in the
Adi Granth
on page
904. It
signifies that
nobody
should
speak a lie. A lie cannot
continue for long.
"
Sikh" is a Pali word which is a Budhist language. The Vipra
(Brahmin) adopted ritis (customs) hostile to Budhists to kill the
Dhamma of Budha
and Pali in the name of Dharma
(religion) and Sanskriti. The Sikh means an educated person (full
of wisdom). Wisdom is the foundation of "spirit
of Budhism". So, Sikhism
is the continuity of "Spirit
of Budhism" and Budhist
revolution.
Brahminism is
the enemy of
entire humanity. Guru Nanak
coined the
word Brahmanvad
(p.136) by which
he means
a house of
sorrow and
karamkand while the sangat
of the saint, Bhagat, Satguru
is
the organisation
of liberators.
Guru Nanak
did not preach Sikhism. He preached Gurumat
(philosophy
of gurus)
while durmat
is the philosophy
of the vipras (Brahmins).
Durmat
is the path of sin, while gurumat is the path
of nirvan.
The word nirvan
is repeated
by
the Gurus.
Nirvan
is the state
of mind
in which there is an
extinction of three fires — lust,
hatred and ignorance.
Nirvan is the Budhist
element. It is the ultimate
goal
of Budhism.
The Brahmins
call the path of durmat (sin)
as the
path of vaikunth,
Brahma Puri, Indrapuri,
Shivpuri,
Durga
Puri.
The path of vaikunth
lies in the hand of Brahmins.
For them
Banaras
is Vaikunth
Puri, while the
places of Budhism
is
hell. Kabir
Das said if Banaras is
Vaikunth then:
I will not die in Benaras
but I will die in Hadamba
(Kushinagar)
where
there is
a samadhi
of the
great humanist Budha
who was the liberator
of millions-millions
of people and gave them
happiness
by
giving them
wisdom,
the sangh
and the way.
SIKH REVOLUTION ROOTS
IN MAHARASHTRA
Kabir did not die in
Benaras but died in Maghar
(Hadamba)
where
Budha got
Parinirvan. Since
the Budhists denied
the authority
of the vaidik
shastras and their "ism",
therefore, the Brahmins
called the Budhist places
as the places of
hell.
Guru Nam Dev was
born in Maharashtra.
He was
born
200 years before
Nanak. In the
Adi Granth
there
are 245
sloks that
belong to Nam
Dev. Trilochan also belonged
to Maharashtra, while
Kabir, Ravi
Dass belonged
Benaras. Therefore Guru
Nanak was not the founder
of Sikhism.
An honest Sikh intellectual,
Baldev Singh writes:
No idea or philosophy
develops or grows in
vacuum, they
are built on
existing
ideas and philosophies
(p.14).
Sodhi Meharban (1581-1620),
a contemporary of Guru
Arjun Dev
and his family
member, says:
Nanak used to sing vanis
of Guru Nam Dev, Kabir,
Ravidas.
When Guru Nanak was born,
there already existed
the ideas of
Nam Dev, Kabir,
Ravi Dass. These
saints and Bhagats
whom Nanak
called
as Sat
Gurus were the preachers
of the "Spirit of Budhism" which
was already floating
in the air.
BRAHMIN-BUDHIST
CONFLICT
Maharashtra is the land
of Nagas and Nagas were
Budhists.
Dr.
Ambedkar on
the eve
of his conversion
on Oct.14,
1956, Ashok
Vijaya Dashmi,
had clearly said that
the Untouchables were
the descendents
of Nagas
and Nagas were Budhists.
There was a fierce
enemity between
the Aryans
and the Nagas. The Aryans
wanted to completely
annihilate the
Nagas. It
was Budha who
saved them from disintegration
and
extinction. Therefore
Dr. Ambedkar says:
The Indian history is
nothing but a history
of mortal
conflict between
Budhism and
Brahminism. It is a
conflict of supremacy
of Brahminism
and Budhism.
As the Sikh gurus adopted
the path of "Spirit of Budhism",
they became the target of Brahminical forces in 1984 ("Blue
Star Operation). A majority of the Sikhs killed were
Dalit Sikhs.
NANAK ENLIGHTENED BY
DALIT SAINTS
None of the Gurus right
from Nanak to Guru Gobind
Singh
suppressed this fact
but Brahminical
forces
in the
guise of Sikhism
are hiding this fact
because of
their racist mind. Nanak
praised Untouchable
saints mentioning their
castes: Namdev
(Chheepa), Kabir (Julaha),
Ravidass (Chamar), Sain
(Nai), Trilochan
(Sudra) and said: "I
have been enlightened
by them".
He called them Satgurus
and called himself as
Nanak Das, Nanak Neech,
Nanak Garib.
Prof. Gurnam
Singh has given plenty
of references
from
the Adi Granth
to expose
the falsehood
in his book,
Juth Na bol
Pande,
in the name
of Sikhism.
1. Nanak repeatedly
salutes them and says
there was
darkness without
them.
(p. 89).
2. One who wants salvation
(liberation) must salute
the feet of Bhagats.
(p.127).
3. In the Sangat of
sadhus, and saints
I have achieved
happiness.
(p.68).
4. You cannot get enlightenment
without them. Bhagats
are the purest people
and real traders
of truth.
(p.90).
5. Nanak says: I have
taken deeksha from
them and surrendered
my
mind to them
to get nirvan.
(p.90).
6. I got the happiness
and pleasure only when
I placed
the Sabad
of Bhagats in
my inner sense
(p.66).
7. Light eats darkness.
In the same way, recitation
of Vedas
eats the
wisdom of
a man.
8. Satguru is the ship
which liberate from
the fear of
hell and salvation
from Yamdut.
(p.64).
These evidences
are sufficient to prove
that Nanak was
not the founder
of Sikhism
or Sikh
Lahar. The
founders of Sikhism
were
Untouchable
sants, Sadhu, Bhagat
whom Nanak and other
gurus called
as sat
guru, sat
purukh. RAMA PROTECTED BRAHMINS
Sikhism was a powerful
revolution against
Brahminism. Son of
Dasharath, Rama,
is the agent and protector
of Brahminism,
the philosophy
of hate, inequality
and violence. Sikhism is
the philosophy
of liberty, equality
and fraternity. Rama
has nothing to
do with Sikhism.
Nam Dev says:
You will not get salvation
by reciting Rama repeatedly.
(p.98).
Rama, who could not
protect his wife Sita,
how he
can protect you? (p.
53).
The last guru, Guru
Gobind Singh, on the
eve of
foundation ofthe
Khalsa gave his
final verdict
to Khalsa against
Brahminism and
Rama:
Do not worship Rama,
Krishna, Brahma, Durga
etc. (p.402).
MUSLIMS NOT ENEMIES
OF SIKHS
Brahminical forces
in the guise of Sikhism
are propagating
Brahminism in the name
of Dasam Granth.
They are
converting Sikhs into
anti-Muslim. Muslims
were never the
enemies of
Sikhs. It was Birbal,
the Brahmin,
who conspired
against
Sikhism
and instigated
Mughal
emperor Akbar
against the Granth.
The land of Amritsar
was given to Guru on
lease
by Akbar.
The foundation
of
Darbara Sahib was
laid by
Mian Mir,
a Muslim. Guru Arjun
Dev equated Muslim
saint Baba
Farid in Adi Granth
with other gurus.
Muslims protected
the family and children
when Guru left Chamkaur
Garhi
to Machhibara forest. Not only this even a Muslim women gave her blue burka to protect Guru from
the identification from enemies.
(p.87).
Those who are
misleading the Sikhs by injecting
anti-Muslim hatred
are doing
great harm
to Sikhism. It was
the Brahmin Birbal,
Sucha
Singh and Gangoo
Brahmins who
conspired and sabotaged
Sikh revolution. AKAL
PURUKH
Akal Purukh is the
combination of two
words Akal + Purukh.
Akal means
one
who never
dies. Purukh
related with man.
Akal Purukh,
therefore,
is natural and not
supernatural.
It has nothing to
do with Brahma. Vishnu,
Mahesh,
whom Nanak
called as
illusion
(p.132).
It has
also nothing to do
with Rama and Krishna.
Akal
Purukh is the another name of cause
and effect.
Akal Purukh
never
dies. It
is related
with creation
and destruction
character
of man.
According to it,
a man dies but its
elements
water, air,
fire,
earth
and consciousness,
from which
body of a man
evolve, never
die (Akal).
These element create
shape and destroy
it, it has
shape and
also without
shape (Nirankar).
" Creation and destruction" is the result of "cause
and effect" of Budhist philosophy. These facts and evidences
are sufficient to prove that the entire philosophy
of guru is against Brahminism and continuation
of the "Spirit of Budhism". Gurmat preached by
the Untouchable
Gurus continued till
the last guru, Guru
Gobind Singh.
Thus
the Sikh Lahar
was one, and there
is a perfect
continuity
right
from
Nam Dev to
Guru
Gobind
Singh. You can
call this wave as wave
of saints, sadhu,
bhagat, gurus,
satgurus or
Sikh Lahar.
