Hindi Caste book released: UP proves Editor’s thesis

Bangalore: The Hindi translation of V.T. Rahshekar’s international award winning hit book, Caste — A Nation Within the Nation, published in 2006 was formally released on April 8, 2007 at the Dalit Voice silver jubilee function in Delhi.

The book (pp.120) translated by Rajendra Singh Jatav of Himachal Pradesh was released by V.B. Rawat, a long-standing admirer of DV, who hosted the silver jubilee session.

All the copies of the Hindi edition of the book sent to Delhi by its publishers, Books for Change in Bangalore, were sold out at the function.

Two DV family members from Lucknow said the thesis of the book was in full operation in UP, now facing the Assembly election. All the national parties started dying and only caste-based parties were in full swing. The future belonged to caste-based parties as predicted by the author, they said.

The English edition has gone into third print despite the total blackout of the book by the Brahminical media. Its Kannada translation is also selling well.

All the three editions of the book are priced at Rs. 140 and can be had from the DV office.

Editor becomes a big hit in Pakistan

Bangalore: Editor of Dalit Voice V.T. Rajshekar visited Pakistan on the invitation of its government to be the chief guest at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar birth anniversary at Lahore on April 13.

The function was arranged by the Sir Ganga Ram Charitable Foundation by Yousuf Bokhari. The Governor of the State of Lahore inaugurated the function in the packed auditorium of the Holiday Inn Hotel. This was the first time the state itself was celebrating the Dr. Ambedkar birth anniversary.

The function was attended by a large number of Pakistani Dalits, Hindus, Sikhs and Christians who told the Editor that they were all well protected and well looked after by the state as “minorities”.

Sir Ganga Ram was an engineer who did a lot for Lahore and Pakistan. Many landmarks of Lahore were built by Sir Ganga Ram. Though a Bania, he did not like the fellow Bania M.K. Gandhi with pro-upper caste (Hindu) bias. The Editor’s speech at the Dr. Ambedkar jayanti function became so popular that it received wide publicity in the media. He was interviewed by three TV networks and four newspapers.

Punjab University hosted a party in his honour. Top academics of the university and senior journalists of the Dawn, the leading English daily, and three English, Urdu and TV networks attended it. The meeting was organised by Mujahid Mansoori, Dy. Editor of the Daily Jung, the largest circulated Urdu daily of Pakistan.

The Editor was to visit Islamabad on the invitation of many friends but had to cancel it owing to pressing engagement back home. He will visit the Pakistan capital later in the year.

Madani not be freed until he is dead ?

Bangalore: We have two sets of law in India. The law laid by their guru, Manu, for those fighting against victims of Brahminical oppressors engaged in confusing over 85% of the country’s population. And another set of law for the 15% of the upper castes ruling India.

The one such famous victim of the Manu’s law is the revolutionary Muslim leader of Kerala, Abdul Naser Madani, a close friend of our Editor, rotting in the Coimbatore jail for the past nine years without any charge. Heard of a case like this anywhere in India? Even when the Supreme Court itself asked the prosecution to put him on trial, the Brahminical forces are refusing because they are above the court and above the law of the land.

Bomb attack: Why Madani is detained in the jail though there is no charge against him? The secret is if he is released all the Brahminical parties of Kerala like the Congress, CPM and even the Muslim League will be wipedout. Such is the popularity of Madani.That is why the tiny Brahminical forces controlling Kerala (and India) will not release him until he becomes completely disabled. He lost his one leg in a Hindu terrorist bomb attack but even after 15 years none of the attackers is booked.

Brother Madani is already half dead. Knowing the danger of keeping him in the Kerala jails, they arrested him but kept him in the Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) jail. Editor V.T. Rajshekar met him in the jail with great difficulties some years back.

Caste contradictions killing India

Bangalore: Is the unelected judiciary accountable to any one? Can 2-3 judges, who are mere individuals, decide the fate of millions? Why the micro-minority upper castes ruling India, now dancing over the Supreme Court’s anti-reservation verdict, are ruining the future of the billions who have not yet opened their eyes? Does democracy mean the rule of the minority meritocrat? Dalit Voice has taken up these questions very seriously. We have even brought out a booklet on this subject. The country’s higher judiciary has become the only hope of the upper castes who stand washed out in the current surge of the havenots through democratic process. The constitution framed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Father of India, is all-out in their favour. But despite being a massive majority they remain as voiceless slaves.

Even the slaves do get angry. But India has the world’s only specimen. Here we have not only the slaves but slaves enjoying their slavery.

Hindu drug lulled them to sleep: Upper caste rulers have adopted a two-pronged attack on the slaves. They do their best to crush them and break their back at every stage. At the same time they also go to them selling the hindutva poison to the non-Hindu slaves (SC/ST/BCs). The Hindu terrorist party BJP’s sole single policy is to hinduise these non-Hindu slaves. Hinduisation (enslavement) has had tremendous effect on these people. That is why India has seen no revolution.

Had they been mere slaves they would have by now exploded in anger and made India shake but the Hindu drug has lulled them to sleep and made them enjoy their slavery. The country is thus caught in this serious caste contradiction between the 15% upper caste rulers and the 85% slaves. That is how India is silently dying. We congratulate Speaker Somnath Chatterji for speaking on behalf of the slaves by questioning the anti-people actions of Supreme Court judges. He said:

Discharge of executive responsibilities by any other authority, howsoever highly placed, but non-accountable, is anathema in a democracy”. “One has to admit that in many instances the judiciary (without attributing any fault to it) is not able to cater to the needs of the people of the country”. DV proves right on Chettiar

Bangalore: DV has proved right in its criticism of Union Finance Minister Chidambaram, the Chettiar. CPI leader in Parliament Gurudas Dasgupta has described the Chettiar as “Mr. Failure” and said the BJP was recovering only because of the policies of Chidambaram.

He said the growth rate of billionaires in India was as high as 14% compared to 7 globally.

Quoting Union Panchayat Raj Minister Mani Shankar Iyer as saying that the 9.2% growth of the economy was only for 0.02% of the population. Dasgupta said: “He is a Cabinet Minister. These are the contradictions of the government. We welcome the minister’s statement and take it as a sign of introspection within the Congress Party, especially after it suffered reversals in its fortunes in the recent electoral battles. The Congress owes an explanation to the people.
