COMMUNICATION: TIPS FOR SOCIO-CULTURAL REVOLUTION
When Brahmins dumped Sanskrit & took to English, why not
Dalits ?
COM. AYYANKALI
This refers to Brother Nagesh Chowdhury’s call (DV Oct.1,
2007 p.9) that the Editor should start an RSS-like non-political
body for an Ambedkarite socio-cultural revolution for caste-class
struggle. The Editor has already elaborated upon his idea in his
Editorial. He is absolutely accurate and perfectly right about
the role of an artificially constructed Brahminised Hindi being
made our so-called “national” language. This Hindi
and all other Indian languages are merely safety nets for linguistic
casteism and Brahminical cultural counter-revolution. RSS slogan
is “Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan”. So we must fight
such cultural and socio-linguistic Brahminisation and Hinduisation.
BOLLYWOOD BOMBED BRAHMINISM
Dalit writers are absolutely right when they say that we must
simply dump all such Brahminical linguistic safety nets and take
to English. As Dr. Ambedkar dumped Hinduism for Budhism, Ambedkarites
must dump all Indian languages wholesale.
In fact, one of the major and prime tasks of any new RSS-type
non-political “fire-maker” body will be to organise
the organised and wholesale genocide and complete destruction
of all Indian languages and culture, which are nothing but socio-cultural
and linguistic safety nets after the demise of their Sanskrit.
Ambedkarites must set up a Committee to Destroy “Indian” Languages & Culture,
because Indian languages as they exist today are nothing but cultural
and linguisatic colonies of Brahminism and transmission belts for
Brahminisation and Sanskritisation.
The tragic and funny thing is even hardened Ambedkarites and Ambedkarite
Budhists are “culturally Hindus” in their private lives.
That should change once and for all, if we have to successfully
de-Brahminise and de-Sanskritise today’s Manuwadi culture.
We must emulate Babasaheb who spoke fluent English and wore Western
clothes. The task is not difficult because Brahmins themselves
are discarding their Sanskrit.
We must go a step further and ask for English language to be made
part of the 8th schedule of the Constitution and do away with Hindi
and all other Indian languages, by learning only English and speaking
only English. Such a proposed RSS-type Dalit body must aggressively
organise free spoken English classes for the Dalits. Otherwise,
we will not be able to de-Sanskritise and de-Brahminise. All Aryan Manuwadi caste
apartheid crooks from fake Maoists to RSS goons want Dalits to
forever carry the stinking shit of rotten and dead Indian languages.
Only then can they deliberately ensure that Dalits are always remain
handicapped without learning the English language.
We must also dump their useless Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi dances
and Carnatic as well as Hindustani music which
are nothing but agents of cultural Brahminisation. Bollywood no
longer bothers about Carnatic or Hindustani music.
Brahmins have switched over to Jazz, rock music and Western classical
music of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. Brahmins are busy learning
ballroom dancing. But Brahmins teach all their old cultural shit
to Dalits to Brahminise them and earn money which they use to learn
Western classical music and culture.
They are simply selling these old useless clothes to gullible
Dalits who get trapped in them and get Brahminically brainwashed
culturally and become intellectual slaves with inferiority complex.
We must immediately put an end to lighting of the lamp ceremonies,
coconut breaking and all Brahminical customs.
Why must we travel to Westernisation only via Brahminisation and
Sanskritisation, when we can easily climb on the direct flight
of the English language and scientific reason?
All Indian languages have been Brahminised and Sanskritised. They
are already dead and decaying. So there is no point in Dalits carrying
this stinking shit. All Dalit writers should make an effort to
write in English and all Dalit writings must be translated to English.
CALL TO MAYAWATI
Mayawati must be convinced to make all panchayat schools in UP
teach in the English medium alone. Brahmins know very well that
it is impossible to do research on nuclear physics in Sanskrit
or any Indian language. They deliberately promote useless and dead Indian
languages only to keep Dalits backward. Once we do this, Brahmin
writers will raise a huge hue and cry, because English is their
greatest strength, just like the road block and entry barrier called
Indian languages is their biggest weapon for cultural counter-revolutionary
activities. Rest assured that even stupid mother-tongue maniacs
among Dalits will start crying - especially those Dalit writers
co-opted by Brahmins. But we should simply ignore this and launch
a linguistic Ambedkarite cultural revolution. After all, Dr. Ambedkar
could do what he did because he mastered the English language.
Also, we must never forget that Periyar also called Tamil a barbarian
language and advocated the use of the English language. If the
Editor wants to start a forest fire, this is one of the best methods,
because Brahmins will never allow anybody else to break their new
monopoly Devabhasha called English language. The sooner
we do this, the better.
CLOSING DOWN D.V.
India doomed to remain in dark
MONSUR RAHMAN KHAN, PRINCIPAL, DEKACHANG ANCHALIK H.S. SCHOOL
DEKACHANG PO, KAMRUP DT.ASSAM - 781 136
With heart-felt love and honour, I am asking you why you are wanting
to “close down the Dalit Voice”. The report
has given me great shock. I am thunder-struck.
For me you are a rare genius and a person who dedicated your whole
life for the liberation of all the persecuted nationalities of
India —not merely the Dalits. If DV is closed how will the
world know truth of the poverty-stricken and helpless SC/ST/BC
and Muslim/Christian/Sikh orphaned children of India? I am simply
startled at your sudden decision. I oppose your proposal and request
you to coolly reflect upon the matter.
You have worked life-long with fatherly feelings upon all the
oppressed people, the marginalised millions. You have rebuilt the
broken boat of marginalisation. Above all, DV is the source of
information for all the marginalised. So, if DV closes who will
hold the rudder of this boat? Will you allow it to sink? Thinking
about such a crisis, my heart is filled with fear. It looks India
is to stay for ever doomed, to remain dark in the depth of despair.
Who will question the Brahminical exploiters? Who will recast the
non-Hindu group?
Fake intellectuals: At this moment, we are encircled with
unavoidable and innumerable problems. The upper castes are well
trained in exploiting us, devoid of any civility or culture. Their
brutality is unimaginable. The so-called “independence” of
India is not for the non-Hindu groups. But only for the Brahmin
group. It looks our hopes, stored in our mind, will be nipped in
the bud.
We are far from our destination. The hopes of liberation from
Brahminism may remain a mere hope. It looks the intellectuals of
persecuted groups are fake. They have no vision. No strategy. Probably
most of our “intellectuals” are not even aware of your
movement.
I again request our Editor not to close down DV. Except DV, we
have no other media to express our agony. That means automatically
all the non-Hindu groups will lose their identity. It is the DV
that created the atmosphere for the BSP victory in UP-2007. This
victory brings up the hope that Sister Mayawati may be our next
prime minister and the Dalits may hope to rule in India. But this
hope may remain a sweet dream if DV closes down.
Some Dalit readers are planning a new party called BAMCEF. Another
group is propping up Udit Raj. All such splintering will destroy
our plan. These leaders are spoiling Mayawati chances. They are
going against Dr. Ambedkar’s vision. It seems the Dalit leaders
have no desire to change the Brahminic culture. Perhaps our future
is doomed.
I know that you are a restless person, deeply worried over the
mounting problems of the persecuted groups ground to dust by the
upper castes. I can understand your pain, agony over your failure
to unite the Dalits and make the wretched of the earth the meaning
and message of your philosophy. You have exposed the mystery of
Brahminism which was unknown to us and also enlightened the philosophy
of Dr. Ambedkar over the whole world. We are indebted to you for
your guidance on the social movement.
My last request: Please change your plan of closing down DV and
proceed with your liberation movement till your last breath. I
shall co-operate with you in all respects. I am remitting Rs. 1,000
as my humble contribution to the liberation of the Dalits.
Hindus will be minority if they don’t get liberated from
Brahminism

Why all Hindus who worship Brahma are not called Brahmins? The Bhoodevatas created
the most evil system of discrimination based on casteism over 3,000
years back. Those who worship Christ are called Christians. Those
who worship Budha are called Budhists. If the Brahmins who worship
Brahma, the creator, can call themselves Brahmins, then why all
the Hindus who worship Brahma are not allowed to call themselves
Brahmins? Did any Hindu think on this line? The evil caste system
is part of the very religion of Bhoodevatas. Such a caste
system divides all human beings coming under Hinduism. Who is responsible
for this feeling of separatism among the different sections of
Hindus for the past thousands of years? Who is responsible for
this rigid hereditary caste-based sectarianism?
Brahmin Dharma should not be called Hindu
Dharma.
Cause of Hindu disunity: Can we imagine those who worship
Christ not being allowed to call themselves Christians, those who
worship Budha not being allowed to call themselves Budhists, and
those who believe in Prophet Mohammed not being allowed to call
themselves Mohammedans?
That means all Hindus should be logically called Brahmins if they
worship Brahma as the creator. Why not the Brahmins accept that
idea? Never. How can the Brahmins ever allow the Hindus of other
castes to be their equals? Hindus can never be united so long as
the Brahmins are allowed to determine what is Hindu religion or Dharma. Hindu
Dharma must not be allowed to be only Brahmin Dharma.
Lower castes should be also allowed to become priests just as
it is done among the Budhists, Sikhs, Christians, Muslims and many
other communities of the world. Why should the big majority of
Hindus continue to suffer from discrimination at the hands of bigoted
minority Brahmins? Bigoted Brahmins are the worst enemies of Hindus
Brahminism against Hindu unity: Considering themselves
to be related to Brahma, the creator, the bigoted Brahmans believe
they are divine like gods, and they can never accept other human
beings as their equals. The bigoted Brahmin fundamentalists are
the worst enemies of the Hindu. So it should not be surprising
to hear about many Hindus feeling compelled to convert themselves
to Budhism, Sikhism, Christianity and Islam just to escape the
atrocities committed on them by the bigoted Brahmins. The non-Brahmin
Hindu “low castes” just cannot agree to remain inferior
for ever. They are forced to quit Hinduism by the bigoted Brahmins
who are the enemies of all mankind.
Hindus will be a minority : Hindus must think why they
are ill-treated like this by the bigoted Brahmins. They must realize
that Brahminism is extremely evil as it is against the interests
of 98% of the Hindus. For the Brahmins who form only 2% of the
Hindus, the people of other castes are inferior human beings. Brahminism
is absolutely against Hindu unity as it can never remove the caste
differences. The bigoted Brahmins can only thrive by exploiting
the wide differences among the Hindus due to the evil caste system
created by Brahminism. Brahminism, therefore, should never be equated
with Hinduism. All the other Hindus should unite to liberate themselves
from the extremely evil clutches of the bigoted Brahmin fundamentalists.
If we do not liberate and reform ourselves soon, Hindus will be
turned into a hopeless minority in India within the next few years.
LETTERS TO EDITOR
Moses Parmar, OM India, 5 - Wazir Hassan Road, Lucknow
- 226 001: . With over 10,000 Dalit children in our 66 English-medium
schools in most backward communities in India, we are changing
the future of thousands of our families. But politicians are not
attracted to those kind of things. Most of our friends don’t
know the deep commitment and the hard work our people are putting
in for our people. We will reach our goal of 100 schools by 2010.
Our ultimate goal is to build 1,000 schools with 500 children each.
That will help us to empower 500,000 children. And we hope that
it will raise lots of Babasahebs and VTRs.

Ms. V.S. Kaikasi, TC-11/20505(7), SINI, Kanakanagar, Kawdiar
PO, Trivandrum - 695 003: I am a research scholar (PhD) in English
literature. My topic is “Redactions in the Ramayana” a
subversive and deconstructive re-reading of the Epic. In the course
of my research I came across a book titled Riddles in Hinduism (Dr.
B.R. Ambedkar), which was subjected to severe criticism and opposition
from the Hindu terrorists. The easy availability of books in this
genre are always in a state of doubt. This book is urgently needed
to conclude my research as I have taken and applied the feminist
and subaltern readings of the Ramayana. I support your
idea that the Dalits have been wronged in the process of aryanisation.
I am so enthusiastically looking forward to read what Dr. Ambedkar
has to say in this matter. I need your reprint of the Riddle
of Rama and Krishna (DSA-1995) (which forms the crux of the
book) which you reprinted with your foreword. My name is Kaikasi(
mother of Ravana). I was introduced to the re-telling of epics
from a totally different perspective. Instead of being a devotee
of the gods, whom we are expected to pray, I became a critic to
the deeds rather miscreant deeds of gods. So naturally I became
interested to do research in this field, to uphold the values of
human beings (and personally I don’t believe that there is
something called inferior). For that purpose and keeping in mind
the research purpose too, I decided to contact you. This particular
book is unavailable in all leading bookstalls (you know the reason).
All works written from the Dalit point of view are banned or not
available for sale in the open market. This situation must change
and let us see what we can do. I am deeply indebted to you for
sending this book. I am not born a Dalit but my sentiments have
been always with them. I have heard that many of the “low
caste” (no one is low caste in fact) people converted to
Christianity fearing persecution from the so-called Hindus. And
what you have said is true sir. Women are a safe bait to all these
superstitions (I have no regard for all these rituals and superstitions).
They are so easily fooled by these godmen who exploit them in the
name of religion. I still wonder even in this age of nanotechnology
and scientific boom we still gaze with wonder at a Brahmin who
is able to chant mantras from vedas, it is high
time that we consider them as mere professionals whose only job
is to chant these verses and earn astronomic figures as dakshina.
All these are indirect bribe paid in order to be accepted by god.
But will god accept these frauds who gain money through hook and
crook? Will the same people admire and adore the carpenters and
blacksmiths (who are equally professional like the veda-chanting
buffaloes)? Some women like to go in search of some place where
people gather and there is noise. If they go and sit in a restaurant
or park or somewhere people might speak ill of them. So if they
go to a temple no one will say bad words and in fact they will
honour her. So it is a comfort station where women who have no
worthy things to do normally visit. A majority of these bhaktas are
frauds who adore the swamis and not the divine god. Infact, Abraham
T. Kovoor, the great rationalist, has said of a sadhu,
a Brahmin who used to earn money by conducting pujas by
chanting verses from a poetry text (in Sri Lanka). What is your
forum planning, to salvage these poor women from the octopus-like
grip of these “religious frauds”. As a girl I would
like to know that. I will surely think about joining your forum,
but I do not know whether you will accept a person like me who
is not born a Dalit to be a part of your organisation. You have
said “A woman is also a Dalit”. That is true sir. For
the past two days I was reading all your articles in your website.
Simply great. It takes a lot of courage to publicly sympathise
with the downtrodden ones. I have several copies of your magazine
at home and they have truly inspired me to have a critical outlook
at all that is labelled as “ sacred”. I know of that
movie by Deepa Mehta, which was an entry to the Oscars last year.
I think it was bold attempt to tear away the mask of the so-called “ divine
caste”. It came as no surprise as all divergent voices were
suppressed until your forum gave voice to all those snuffed voices
and silences through Dalit Voice. Great. I admire you
a lot. Please accept me in your long list of admires and fans.
And I will be glad to be apart of this prestigious forum.

Your letter has made us so proud because you believe Brahminisation
of the country has killed us. We are also proud that you are a
critic of the Hindu gods. Great. The Brahminical people have sold
and popularised their vulgarity by selling it to women only. Go
to any temple you see there mainly women — EDITOR.
INDIA SHINING
India tops maternal deaths
New Delhi: More women die in India during childbirth than
anywhere else in the world. Of the 5.36 lakh women who died during
pregnancy or after childbirth in 2005 globally, India accounted
for 1.17 lakh. India, along with 10 other countries, accounted
for almost 65% of global maternal deaths in 2005. The maternal
mortality ratio (MMR) in India is 450 deaths per 100,000 live births.
In comparison, Congo had an MMR of 740, Nigeria 1,100 and Afghanistan
1,800 per 100,000 births. India’s neighbours are better off.
While Bangladesh reported 21,000 deaths with an MMR of 570, Pakistan
recorded 15,000 deaths with MMR of 320, China had 7,800 deaths
with MMR of 45 and Nepal 6,500 deaths with MMR of 830 in 2005.
Sri Lanka recorded 190 deaths with an MMR of 58. Poverty, hunger
and disease were the three main reasons for 99% of the deaths that
occurred in developing countries in 2005. These shocking figures
were revealed in the latest Maternal Mortality Report. Compiled
by the World Health Organisation (WHO), UNICEF, UNFPA and the World
Bank, the report, published in the Lancet on October 12.

Bihar NREGS a big zero
Patna: On Feb.2, 2006, the Chief Minister of Bihar launched
the NREGS in Bihar. For all practical purposes, however, the scheme
is yet to see the light of the day — though the govt. took
some steps. On Jan.18, 2006, Rural Development Secretary asked
the authorities to use the unutilised amount of Rs. 5,025 lakhs
from the Sampurna Gramin Rozgar Yojna (total rural employment
scheme) to implement the NREGS in the 15 districts not covered
by the Centre. But when the people apply for a NREGA Job Card,
the panchayat president says he has no order to receive the application.
This is going on in the Barh block of the Patna dt. In the Araria
dt. the BDO tells activists that there is “no order from
above about the job card”. The Bihar Govt. says over Rs.
405 crore were allotted for the 2006-07 financial year, 60% for
the payment of the workers and 40% (Rs. 162 crore) as material
component that is for other expenses like payments for officials,
infrastructure, travel, monitoring and reporting. Yet hardly anything
has been done at the grassroots level in 2006-07.

Liberation, Sept. 2007 p. 206)
