Bangalore: Mallikarjuna Kharge, a noted Dalit leader, a long-time friend of our Editor and the senior-most Karnataka Minister, launched the Dalit Voice website: www.dalitvoice.org at a small function at the Bangalore Press Club here on Sept.12, 2004. Justice Saldanha (retd.) of the Karnataka High Court, presided. Editor V.T. Rajshekar was present. The Untouchables of India constitute about 20% of India's over 1,000 million population. Together with 10% Tribals, they become 30% — far exceeding the population of entire Europe. But such a vast humanity, constituting the core of India's original inhabitants, is kept enslaved by less than 15% alien Aryans. Dalit Voice was the first Indian journal to expose this closely guarded secret and shock the outside world and create history. That is how Dalit Voice has become the organ of the entire deprived destitutes of India, the original home of racism. Started in 1981, DV has become the country's most powerful "Voice of the Persecuted Nationalities Denied Human Rights". Sole spokesman: A veteran journalist, formerly of the Indian Express, a powerful and fearless writer, V.T. Rajshekar had to face the wrath of the ruling class, arrested many times, several jail sentences, passport impounded and subjected to total media boycott. Published in several Indian languages including Hindi, Dalit Voice has become the sole spokesman for the entire deprived, dehumanised lot of India. In the course of the last 25 years, DV has become India's largest circulated journal of the oppressed, fighting against mainstream dailies and periodicals which have totally ignored the plight of the original inhabitants. Hence DV is rightly described as a new experiment in Indian journalism. Its Editor is hailed as India's most original
thinker, scholar and also philosopher. As India's most famous Dalit
writer, he has
authored
over 60 world-famous books dealing with the problems of caste,
ethnicity, Muslims, Christian, Sikhs, Marxism, Brahminism, Racism,
Gandhism,
Fascism etc. Over 100 books have been published by the Dalit
Sahitya Akademy,
its sister organisation,. His most important book, Caste —A
Nation Within the Nation, which has gone into second print, is
a marvellous
thesis offering an ingenious weapon of "caste identity" to
defeat Brahminism. Dalit —The Black Untouchables of India,
published from the USA (Clarity Press, ISBN 0-932863-05-1), has
gone into several
reprints. Naturally, DV becomes the future media of India where
its Manuwadi dailies and periodicals are slowly dying. Because
only DV
offers a lasting solution as the authenstic voice of the country's
tallest titan, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Father of India. Mystery behind Western war on "terrorism" America, England and some Western people are asking Russia's Putin to quit Chechenya and grant it total independence as a solution to the "terrorist menace". But the same advice is not acceptable to America and its allies waging an illegal war in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. in the name of terror. biased media: Putin is fighting Muslims in the name of terror. America is also killing Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. Both are fighting and killing Muslims in thousands. But America and its allies are not only advising Putin not to wage such a war but actively supporting the Muslim "terrorists" to fight Putin. Who is right and who is wrong? Since the Western media like India's Manuwadi media is totally biased it is difficult to get at the truth. In the Beslan school tragedy only about 500 died but the Western media heaped the harshest abuses on Muslims and blamed the "corrupt culture of the Arab world" and called the Muslims monsters. But the people who shed so much of tears for the Beslan barbarity must know that the Russian soldiers have killed over 70,000 innocent civilians in Chechenya. The other charge is that killing of children in Beslan is a bestial, inhuman act, worse than a war itself. But in Iraq America resorted to pin-point bombing of civilian areas killing children, women and such innocents. The Iraqi civilian death is very high. One estimate puts it at 12,000. The killing of innocents in Iraq and other parts by America is continuing. Women suicide bombers: So the Western charge that the Beslan massacre is worse than a war is stupid. Beslan is a reaction to the Russian action. If Chechens are cruel the Russians and Americans are much more cruel. The Beslan tragedy was preceded by a series of attacks on Russia such as the blowing up of two Russian airlines, a week before the Beslan tragedy. But it must be noted that the airline tragedy was carried out by two young Chechen women suicide bombers who were victims of Russian attack on their homeland. The lesson from all these endless human tragedies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Chechenya is that war and violence is no solution to human problems. Russia facing defeat: Muslim Chechens want total independence from the Christian Russian overlordship. Nothing short of it will reduce terrorism against Russia which has been fighting a losing war. Western leaders give such an advice to Russia while secretly supporting the Chechen terrorism. But they are not following their own advice to Russia. Here lies the mischief and the motive of
the West. In Iraq, Afghanistan etc., America and its allies are
fighting "Muslim terrorism" and
blame Osama bin Laden for such a terrorism. But the
same America is aiding and abetting the Chechen terrorism
which, according to
Putin, is engineered by Osama. Shocking news: US supporting terrorism? Bangalore: The cat is finally out of the bag. Do you know who is supporting the "terrorist" (read Muslim) violence against Russia? The culprit is America which itself has assumed the world leadership to fight terrorism after the 9/11. If America often complains that it is the victim of "international terrorism", led by Osama bin Laden how can we say that America is hand-in-glove with the same terrorists? For long we have been saying that when the American rulers raise the bogey of terrorism they have a hidden agenda: promoting the interests of Israel. The Russian rulers have now come out with the same findings after the latest Beslan school tragedy of Sept.1st week. Role of Neo-Cons: Tony Blair, the British puppy of President Bush who is contesting his re-election on the sole single issue of fighting "global terrorism", has given asylum to top Chechen Muslim "terrorists". America has also given asylum to some other Chechen terrorists. Russian foreign minister himself made the above accusations. These double-standards in the behaviour of US and UK make us doubt that America is not honest when it makes so much of noise on terrorism. Top-most Neo-Cons, who are in the forefront of leading the war on terror, are found in the committee formed to defend the Chechen cause. We have said that Neo-Cons (read zionists) are ruling the US today and shaping all its policies. West supports Chechenya: Chechens are Muslims and fighting for independence from Russia. They have joined hands with Osama and his "terrorist" network, reports say. If the US rulers are fighting terrorists why
they are supporting Chechen terrorists? Colin Powell: Dog of US Racist Rulers This is Colin Powell, the American Secretary of State, the No.2 in the Bush Cabinet, but always at the mercy of the Neo-Cons (read zionists) controlling the Bush Govt. Crazy Neo-Cons: Powell's extraordinary outburst is alleged to have taken place during a telephone conversation with the British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw. The "crazies" described by the BBC radio presenter are said to be the US Vice-President, Dick Cheney, the Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, and his deputy Paul Wolfowitz. (Hindu Sept.13, 2004). The Neo-Cons perhaps allowed the above leak to please the critics of George Bush who is sinking in his presidential race. Powell knows he is daily humiliated and kicked. And yet he continues swallowing all the insults. The other Black woman, Condi Rice, Security Adviser to Bush, has surpassed Neo-Cons in hate-mongering. This
is called corrupting and co-opting those fighting the enemy. India
has many such renegades. If
religions are "dying", why West is fighting Islam & killing
Muslims? Essentially Christian countries, the people who live there are losing interest in Christianity. Having lost virility, they hardly produce children. Those living are getting old. Even they are losing interest in religion. Kerala priests: Hardly any European youth is interested in becoming a priest or nun. That is why they are importing priests and nuns from India, particularly the Christian Kerala. Each Indian priest sometimes has to look after several parishes. Islamisation of Europe In a speech at Leiden University on Sept.7, he compared the EU to the late Australian-Hungarian empire, which took so many different peoples on board in such a haphazard fashion that it eventually became ungovernable. Calling demography the "mother of politics", he said that while America had the youth and dynamism to remain the world's only superpower, and China was the rising economic power, Europe's destiny was to be "Islamised". (Asian Age, Sept.9, 2004). Christianity may be dying but the White Western racism is not. That is why there is so much of opposition to Muslim turkey's entry into EU. On one side, the Whites say religion is dying, and they are irreligious or downright atheists. They say that science and technology are taking over. They also say economic progress must get priority, not religion. If so, why this "shock" over Europe going Islamic and opposition to the entry of Turkey? Serious contradictions. West losing war: It is in this background, we have to view Russian President Putin's violent opposition to the Muslim Chechenya's just struggle for self-determination. In the name of war against "terrorism", the White Western racists are trying to destroy Islam and kill Muslims. But the West and US in particular, has not given any proof of winning its war against terrorism. Rather it is losing the war. |
