Agenda for Udit Raj in America
C.L. MAURYA, NEW DELHI, (uditraj@bol.net.in)
Udit Raj, president of Indian Justice Party and the All-India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations, will tour America from Oct.2-10, 2005. He will meet US Congressmen and speak on how to empower Dalits socially and politically, address the American and Indian media in Washington.
______________________________
Wanted assurance
We congratulate Brother Udit Raj on his forthcoming tour of America, which has become the world's most hated country because President George Bush's many stupid actions at the behest of his Neo-Con advisers. But among the people of America we have a very large number of friends. Particularly the Blacks who again became the victims in the latest Katrina hurricane. As the Ambassador of India's Untouchables, forming over 20% of India's 1,000 million population, he must speak straight and be intellectually honest like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Father of India. America no doubt is a land of opportunity but lately it is becoming a land of opportunists under the pressure of its hated Neo-Cons who have joined India's tiny Brahminical rulers who are in strength in USA. The Blacks form about 20% of US population and Udit Raj must tell them how India is the original home of racism and invite them to India. He should also warn the respected mainstream Christian leaders not to be misled by the Evangelicals who are forcing the Bush Administration to promote war and violence in Palestine, Iraq etc. Udit Raj must give these assurances to the country's Dalits before he leaves — EDITOR.

Brahmins using their women to fight Bahujans
The Marathi article of Nalini Bhosle, Anandnagar, Pandharpur, Solapur dt., published in the Samrat Daily, Bombay, Sept.2, 2005. Translated by C.C. Hadke, SE (C), ONGC, Panvel, New Bombay - 410 221.
When the first Lok Sabha was formed it had 369 Brahmin MPs out of 540. This was attributed to Brahmin Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who had given 60% tickets to Brahmins of which 56% were elected. Today in the 11th Lok Sabha, the Brahmin strength is reduced to mere 69.
This is seriously worrying the BSO which conducted many secret meetings to combat the situation and regain its old glory. After prolonged discussions they arrived at the "Women Reservation Bill".
Since then BSO is pressing hard to pass the 33% women reservation Bill. They are criticizing caste-wise proportionate reservation.
This BSO move must be fought because it is a danger to Bahujans. BSO has literally failed to capture Delhi. Hence they intend to use their women to fight us. Women Reservation Bill is a BSO conspiracy.
Hindu Code Bill: If the 33% Women Reservation Bill is passed, then out of 100 men about 30 women will become MPs. Out of the 540 MPs 160 will be Brahmin women and only 15-16 non-Brahmin women. That means the Bahujan welfare plans will be thrown to dust bin. In the first LS the Brahmin strength was 369. That is how they could oppose the Hindu Code Bill of Dr. Ambedkar. The Brahmins then had used their women to take out procession against this Bill. The women knew the Bill was in their favour. Dr. Ambedkar had then asked the Brahmin women delegation:
Why are you opposing this Bill, although it is in your (women's) favour? They replied, if we don't oppose it, then our men will torture us like anything. So in fear we are opposing this Bill. This is being done at the behest of our men.
Dalit liberation war: History is repeating now. The BSO men are waging a proxy war on us using their women. To becoming the Commander-in-Chief of the Peshwa army, Bapu Gokhale, a Brahmin, had offered his teen-aged daughter to king Bajirao Peshwa. But the brave Mahar soldiers, a mere 500, had done Waterloo of Nazi Peshwa at Bhima-Koregaon war on 1/1/1818 although the Peshwa army was well equipped with 25,000 men (40 times well equipped). This was first Dalit war of liberation.
Dear Bahujans, be alert at every moment and counter the Brahminical conspiracy by opposing the Women Reservation Bill.

Confusion among cowbelt Dalits
ANIL RANGARI, BHARATI APT., GURUNANAK NAGAR, DURG - 491 001
You have rightly said in the Editor's footnote:
In the Hindi belt, even the Dalits are called shudra. There is good lot of confusion in the North on the term shudra. When the Untouchables are not even Hindu, how can they become shudra? (DV Sept.1, 2005 p.19).
Even the Chamars (SC) and Kurmis (BC) call themselves Kshatriya. Such is the mad rush to please the Brahmins. Dr. Sumanakshar of the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy of Delhi in his fortnightly, Himayati, (Aug. 2005) says:
(1) The Hindu culture or religion is unarya. (2) Hindus are not Arya.(3) The Rigved (meaning unarya) is the oldest and the pramanik granth. (4) The early sloks of Rigved are not the creations of Brahmins.
DV must ask Dr. Sumanakshar and his company not to create confusion by saying that SC/ST/BCs are Hindu. To say they created the oldest Rigved Granth is the height of stupidity, going against Babasaheb's entire dictum.
Jagjivan Ram, his daughter, Mrs. Meira Kumar are anti-Ambedkar. Dr. Sumanakshar and his company are following their footsteps. The Editor is close to Dr. Sumanakshar and must request him not to create more confusion. Dalits are not Hindu and never Hindu.
Hindu is a heinous and a mean name given by the Muslim rulers to the non-Muslim Indians and this word was accepted and propagated by Aryans to hide their foreign origin and thus become the "majority people" by cheating our SC/ST/BCs calling them also Hindu. Ambedkarites living in Delhi and the cowbelt must check this dangerous tendency to hinduise Dalits and thereby enslave them further. By resorting to such cheap gimmicks, Dalit writers may gain some favour, awards and rewards, but history will never accept such intellectually dishonest people.

Opponents of Dalit-BC unity helping Brahmins
JAYANT RAMTEKE, B-106, TAGORE HOSTEL, IIM, JOKA, CALCUTTA - 700 140
Many of our brothers have expressed their anger over the recent heinous incidents of Dalit atrocities like the Gohana (Haryana). Rightly so. Some have questioned the Dalit-Bahujan unity which many of our people are relentlessly striving for.
All of us must condemn the perpetrators of these atrocities and make ourselves better prepared for self-defense in future. But while doing so, let us not be hasty in passing judgements on the efforts for unity between Dalits and the Backward Castes. One Dalit leader said such an unity was very artificial and was like mixing oil with water.
While we say that Dalit-BC unity is artificial and that we as Dalits must have our own agenda, different from that of our BC brothers, we make some unrealistic assumptions. The first assumption that we make is that Dalits are a homogenous group of people having common ideals, common objectives and common problems. Is this assumption true?
Dalits not one caste: The ground reality is that there is as large a difference between one Dalit caste and the other Dalit caste as there is between one Dalit caste and the other BC caste. So, then isn't a unity among Dalits itself artificial? Neither a unity between different Dalit castes nor between Dalit and BC castes is artificial. Both type of unity are very, very natural.
By and large, Dalit-BCs form a group of indigenous people who have been oppressed and discriminated upon by our common oppressor —the dominant alien Brahmin, Bania ruling castes since last 5,000 years and still continue to do so. This makes unity among them natural.
The realization among the BCs about their identityless existence is still in a nascent stage. They have just begun to realize the age-old evil designs of Brahmins. It will take some time for the BC leadership to carry their message to the BC masses.
Contradictions within BCs: Also there are many contradictions and a variety of competitive interests among BCs themselves just as it exists among any two dominant SC castes in many states. So, let us not blame all the BC brothers for the unpardonable crime done by some goons.
As per my experience some of the BC castes are much larger participants in the Phule-Ambedkarite struggle than some of the Dalit castes.
Take the example of a majority of Chamars in Maharashtra (my salutes to the exceptions among them) who have always been looking at Budhists as their adversaries and have been associates of our all-time enemy Brahminical forces. They have been in forefront for enjoying all the benefits that the Phule-Ambedkarite struggle has yielded.
But what is their contribution to the struggle? They have been the biggest free riders of all time. On the contrary we find many BC thinkers and numerous BC activists who are marching ahead with us in our fight against Brahminism. So, whom do we consider as our friends, those free rider Dalit castes who feel themselves blessed in the company of our enemy or those BC castes who are increasingly participating and contributing in our struggle?
Let us ponder a while and do the reality check before drawing any haste conclusions.

Dalit students in BHU
Sanjay Kr. Chaudhary, LLB, 3rd year, R.No. 05, Dr. BD Hostel, BHU, Varanasi - 221 005
I read your booklet, Merit, My Foot, and the Feb.1, 2005 issue of Dalit Voice. These two inspired, ignited and agitated my mind.In North India, such standard literature and journals are rarely found. We hardly get DV. The Dalits students of BHU are eager to meet and hear you. We are committed to start a Dalit Panther movement. How can you help us? Our human rights have been denied since long. We are losing patience. We have 2,200 Dalit students in BHU but very few know and understand Dalit culture, Dalit literature and Dalit movement. We have started some activities by organising seminars on birth and death anniversary of Babasaheb, Periyar and other revolutionaries. We are very passionate to Dalit human rights and dignity. Please accept our invitation and visit BHU campus once. My parents are landless labourers. This compels me to get job very soon but my passion is to pursue higher education. How can you help?
_____________
We too are keen to visit BHU and meet all of you enslaved by the Brahminical culture controlling the cowbelt. Before that, please distribute our literature, explain to those who cannot understand English. Once they get themselves "educated" in the burning thoughts of Babasaheb, their minds will start "agitating" and that is the right time for us to visit. We will also request our DV family members to pay your subscription. You may take another 2-3 months to prepare for our meeting — EDITOR.

LETTERS TO EDITOR:
Walter Mueller, PO Box-191677, Sacramento, CA - 95819:
Dear fellow patriots, Dalit Voice is the magazine for the "Voice of the Persecuted Nationalities Denied Human Rights". Welcome to India, because that is where this amazing revisionist magazine originates. It was forwarded to me by Ms. Chris Miller. She is a columnist for the Community News, when she is not busy keeping her city out of breath. I was absolutely amazed when I read the Dalit Voice. The publisher is V.T. Rajshekar, who will now receive the Community News, courtesy of Christine Miller. One article in particular caught my eyes, entitled Hitler not worst villain of 20th century as pointed by zionists. The article was written by Iqbal Ahmed Shariff, a staff writer of Dalit Voice. An awesome article. In it, Shariff writes:
Adolf Hitler was a great German patriot. Germans are one of the proudest peoples in the world. Such proud peoples today say they are tired of being reminded time and time again of their countries "crimes" against Jews. What is forgotten is the Jews, who say they once suffered under nazis and became the worst victim of war and violence, have surpassed the nazis in killing Palestinians. The purpose of anti-Hitlerism is to absolve themselves of their horrible past crimes. They want the world to believe that Hitler alone was wrong. And they were, are and will be wrong".
Community News will reprint the entire article in its October issue. So there is Holocaust revisionism in India.

Al Masari (list@tajdeedmail.net): Move over Pat Robertson. The racist Rabbi says Black hurricane victims deserved to die. Following Evangelical hate preacher Pat Robertson, who recently asked the US Govt. to murder President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. If Tony Blair wants to crack down on "preachers of hate" entering Britain he should start with the Israeli chief Rabbi who said that Katrina's victims suffered "because they have no god", singling out Black people. "It was god's contribution. God does not shortchange anyone", said Rabbi Ovadia Yosef during his weekly sermon broadcaste on Israeli TV. He also preached that the hurricane was god's punishment for President George W. Bush's support to Israel's Gaza pullout. Rabbi Yosef is the spiritual leader of the Shas Party which currently holds 11 seats in the 120-seat Israeli parliament and a member of Ariel Sharon's govt. The Rabbi once called Palestinians "snakes" and called for the annihilation of Arabs at a Passover sermon in 2001.

Dr. Parvez Khan, Bahnhonforplataz-2a, 50667, Koln, Germany: I have received two issues of Dalit Voice along with your latest book, Shape of the Things to Come, and two pamphlets Muslims & Mustadafeen and West Losing War on Muslims. I have read the Shape book and personally speaking I agree with your around 90%. I was quiet surprised to see that one of your contributors to DV is Brigadier Usman Khalid who is a well known figure not just in England but in the rest of Europe also. He is a regular contributor on many Yahoogroups and I read all his messages because they are full of wisdom and truth. He is heading the London Institute of South Asia. Usman Khalid is a very respected figure among the academics and intellectuals in many countries particularly in Germany and Holland. The initial study of DV tells me that you are not afraid of telling the truth and are quite fearless. Don't you get trouble from the Brahmin fascists and the Indian police regarding your truth-telling and "controversial" writings in DV? In this country, DV may not be liked, because it contains very strong truth which will not be considered acceptable to the Dutch people. I have now decided to photocopy it and spread it among the Dutch journalists in Holland and German journalists in Germany to spread the message of DV. It is essential that the entire world sees the true face of Brahmin fascism and come to the realisation that India is a fascist country and not the "largest democracy of the world", as is falsely propagated by the Brahmin elites in India. Germany also may not accept DV because of the truth expressed in it, especially the article that Hitler saved Germany from disaster. Hitler and his entire history is a very, very sensitive topic in Germany and there are many, many laws forbidding the propagation of certain aspects of Hitler's life. I will hand over DV to the Hindorama magazine editor also who is an Indian Hindu. There are some other Hindu organizations in Amsterdam and I will send them the DV photocopy. We live in Germany and Holland both and we will spread DV in both countries, but in Amsterdam there are more Hindus than in Koln, Germany, where we also live. Furthermore, the Hindus in Amseterdam come, not just from India but also from Surinam which is located next to Brazil in South America and which was the Dutch colony for 300 years. Dutch society in the past used to be very tolerant but now it has become quite racist and fascist particularly after the Dutch film producer, Theo Gangogh (pronounced theo vango), who made an abusive film against Islam. He was subsequently shot and stabbed to death in broad day light in central Amsterdam by a Moroccan, Mohammed Bouyeri, who just last month got life imprisonment. Things are quite bad here now and fascism is growing very fast in Amsterdam.

Mahatir calls US, UK terrorists
ISMAIL KASH KASH
Mahathir Muhammed who ruled Malaysia for 22 years before retiring in 2003, has said US and British pilots whose bombs killed Iraqi civilians were murderers and actions taken by those two countries during the invasion and occupation of Iraq amounted to terrorism. Several British and US diplomats walked out in protest of Mahathir's broadside against their countries in a recent speech at a national conference in Kuala Lumpur on human rights. He compared American and British actions in Iraq to rocket attacks by Israel on Palestinians and referred to those countries as "these terrorist nations". (listbot2@ilaam.net).
