Mayawati road to Delhi will be smooth if political drive goes with cultural revolution

We hank our Backward Caste Brother Nagesh Chaudhary of Nagpur for telling us that socio-cultural revolution is more important than gaining political power (See articles). This is the opinion of Babasaheb Ambedkar and all other Bahujan revolutionaries.

Brahminical counter-revolutionaries (like the RSS today) have successfully experimented this concept by remaining as king-makers rather than becoming kings themselves.

Kanshi Ram experiment: We too were holding the same opinion but made slight compromise to accommodate Brother Kanshi Ram’s views and said both socio-cultural revolution and political revolution should go hand in hand. We made this compromise because Kanshi Ram’s BSP experiment did catch up in UP and brought the party to power. But before capturing power Kanshi Ram did years and years socio-cultural spade work.

However, it should not be forgotten that the key to Kanshi Ram’s success in UP was the caste factor. The powerful Chamars belonging to Kanshi Ram-Mayawati jati came out in full support of BSP in accordance with our “caste identity” theory.

In other words capturing political power in UP became easier because of the Chamars who formed a sizeable population among the UP Dalits.

But extending UP experiment to other states may be difficult because Chamars do not have such a strong presence in other states as in UP.

“Caste identity”: Rousing caste consciousness and rallying different sections on the basis of “caste identity” itself will lead to a powerful socio-cultural revolution because “caste struggle” is both a social and cultural weapon. If caste conferences are held to “educate” the different weaker jatis about their glorious history, reminding them of their great heroines and heroes and how they were once rulers — but pushed to slavery now — that itself will lead to cultural revolution.

Brahmins joining BSP:  We have had many discussions with Kanshi Ram on this subject and our pressure on him to set up a “media centre” in Delhi was part of this effort to launch an RSS-like institution.

But he neglected his health and the “media center” set up in Noida (Delhi) could not see the light of the day and he finally died pushing the socio-cultural revolution to the background.

Sister Mayawati has now included the Brahmins also to capture political power. Brahmins agreed to jump on the BSP bandwagon in their self-interest and not because they love the Dalits. Even then in DV we supported this experiment. (DV Edit June 1, 2007: “Dalits alone can protect Brahmin life & property: Lessons of UP election”).

How to launch caste struggle: But Mayawati being young, dynamic, a woman and also an Untouchable trained under Kanshi Ram must not be satisfied with mere UP, though the state is a little India itself and the heart of the cow belt. From UP, she has to march to Delhi. But the upper castes will not allow this and put forward every obstacle and fully use the “law of contradictions” to frustrate her march to Delhi.

They will certainly do everything to keep their Brahmin overlordship over “Hindu India”. When they are doing their duty, we should also do our duty.

What is our duty? Babasaheb Ambedkar and Phule-Periyar-Shahu have all said it. And that is socio-cultural revolution, the first step of which is “caste identity”.

The caste is already roused — thanks to our parliamentary politics in which every thing is decided on the basis of caste. We have a ready made weapon in caste. But we failed to sharpen this weapon. Only the numerically larger castes are today using this caste weapon. Once the smaller jatis start wielding this weapon “caste struggle” will begin.

BSP must, therefore, sharpen the caste weapon of the smaller jatis and train them in using this weapon. Half the job is done. Caste weapon is so sharp and deadly that it will kill the casteists (Hindu).

Once you set fire to one tree in the forest of castes it will simply rage and the fire will engulf the entire forest. It will be a holocaust.

Media centre: For this we need the “media centre” in Delhi and we are ready to trigger this forest fire which must begin in the cow belt first. The rest of India will follow.

UP is the standing example for the success of the “caste identity”. But capture of power in mere one state of UP will not bother the Brahminical vultures. When the fire spreads over the cow belt alarm bell will start ringing. When animals and birds start fleeing the forest on fire, then Brahminical insects will be on the run. They will then activate thousands of fire-fighters to douse the fire and push the fire-makers themselves into the raging fire and roast them. Did they not do it with Budhism?

RSS is the principal fire-making body of the Brahminical rulers. Mayawati cannot combine in herself the role of a fire-maker and also a fire-fighter. The two must be kept separate. We are ready to take over the responsibility of fire-making as we have already an all-India setup and sweep.

A sort of a “caste struggle” has already started in every part of India. But it is confined to larger castes like the Gujjar, Kuruba, Nadar, Madiga, Maratha, Patel etc. “Caste identity” is a gold mine. We are not exploiting the rich gold. But the Brahminical people are exploiting the caste-fire to further their counter-revolution.

“Caste struggle” kills Hindu unity: As the caste fire is certain to kill the casteists (Hindu), they will use every contradiction in the society to kill the caste struggle. But there is a hitch here. Brahminists always harp on “Hindu unity” so that every caste is united and stands like a pyramid to enable the Brahmin to stand at the top and lord over the human pyramid. Caste struggle will demolish the Hindu pyramid (Hindu unity) and make it flat, horizontal. For details read our book, Caste — A Nation Within the Nation (Books for Change, Bangalore, Rs. 140, copies available with DV office).

Once we make it clear that we are not against their “Hindu unity” or even Hinduism, they cannot and dare not come in our way because we never said we are not Hindu or against Hinduism.

Law of contradictions: Hinduism is a myth. Hinduism is a collection of castes arranged on an ascending order of reverence and descending degree of contempt. Once the caste struggle begins, the pyramid gets bulldozed and levelled down.

The constitution of India says the SC/ST/BCs are all Hindu. We can be all good Hindu even as we strengthen our “caste identity”.

But Brahminism will not allow the oppressed jatis to strengthen their “caste identity” as it goes against “Hindu identity”.

So when we launch our caste struggle, the casteist (Hindu) forces will put hundred and one obstacles to sabotage our caste movement. They will press the powerful shudra (non-Brahmin) castes to crush the SC/ST/BC castes fight to strengthen their identity. They will use all the contradictions within the SC/BCs to crush the caste struggle.

Three commandments: It is here that we need a powerful cultural movement spearheaded by our “media centre” to provoke our people through Babasaheb’s Three Commandments: Educate, Agitate, Organise (V.T. Rajshekar, When Dalits Disobeyed Final Words of Their Father, DSA-2005, Rs.20).

Our proposed “media centre” will take care of all the Three Commandments. Right now in DV we are confined to “Educate” only. Once a powerful “media centre” is set up in Delhi, with the experienced lieutenant-generals with us we can take up “Agitate” and also “Organise”.

RSS and the entire Brahminical machinery will then start trembling facing the furious fire which may ultimately lead the enemy to launch a bloody violence. Did they not launch a horrendous violence to tackle Budhism and finally kill it? (Read Violence in Hinduisn, Dr. K.S. Bhagwan, DSA-1986).

We should be ready to fight back and we are sure of victory. We need hundreds and thousands of fire-makers who are ideologically well-equipped in the thoughts of Budha and Babasaheb.

But this victory in the field of “Agitate” and “Organise” against Brahminical counter revolution will come only if our drive to “Educate” our people is successful. “Educate” (enlightening) thus has the topmost priority. DV is doing it but its speed and sweep has to increase hundred fold.

Brahminical counter-revolutionaries will resort to enormous violence and terrible bloodshed. However non-violent we are, the enemy’s violent counter-revolution will drive us into violence. We should be ready to face their violence.

Did we not say India’s path to socialism lies through violence and bloody violence?

Mayawati has all the qualifications to lead such a revolution. And we are here to play our part.
