China sends shock waves round the world Bangalore: As repeatedly predicted in DV, the lightning growth of China has sent shock waves round the world. According to the pro-capitalist and anti-communist London Economist (July 30, 2005) Editorial, the Chinese currency (yuan) has nudged the weighty American dollar and that "global monetary policy is now made in Beijing, not Washington". Great news. D.V. NEVER GOES WRONGDV June 16, 2005 (p.10): "US bid to bust Chinese economy", carried our latest story on China's gallop to the world stage as India is sinking deeper and deeper. But we never expected that a just 2.1% revaluation of yuan would shake the world. International financial experts have themselves acknowledged the steep rise of China. "Until a couple of years ago nobody cared much that the Chinese yuan was pegged to the dollar." But when China announced that yuan would no longer be pegged to the dollar, not only the dollar shook but it had world-wide repercussions. The prediction is that in coming years world economic decisions will be taken in China. The USA is desperately trying to block China both economically and politically but every time it is getting defeated. Xenophobia is turning into Sinophobia. While the "Islamic terrorists" are giving sleepless nights to the US and its Western allies, China is eating into their economy. China's Central Bank owns 230 billion dollars of US govt. debt. The fear is that some day China may even purchase America. For many decades, global economic decisions were made in USA. That monopoly is dead. The US sovereignty over its own monetary policy is also eroded. In our previous stories we have said the reasons for China's rise and rise India's fall and fall. DV never goes wrong. BEWARE OF "JEWS OF INDIA"Meanwhile, we call upon China to be careful with India's upper caste Brahminical forces beelining to set up industries in China. About 50 Indian corporates have come to eastern China. Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Satyam, Sundaram Fasteners are some of the software companies and other spreading their wings into China. Mao fought back the zionist influence within the Communist Party itself and made his country a world power. But our fear is that the Jews and the "Jews of India" may combine to subvert the progress of China using the WTO. __________________________________________________________________________________ A new hope for oppressed Tamils : Dalit scientist launches party Bangalore: A new political movement promoting strong socio-cultural roots with a Bahujan concept, assuring every oppressed caste and community, a proportional share is taking shape in Tamil Nadu. Led by a youthful Dalit (Paraiah) intellectual, Prof. (Dr.) L. Jawahar Nesan who resigned his lucrative job in an American University, the new movement is already eight years old with bases in all the 30 districts of TN. Dr. Nesan is an old friend of our Editor and a member of the DV family. DV has published his long article (DV July 1, 2005 p.7): Dr. Ambedkar's Annihilation of caste thesis reinterpreted". Dr. Nesan, a scientist with innumerable foreign degrees who gave up his teaching job, was the first to discuss with the Editor his "caste identity" thesis and come closest to DV line of thinking. He wants a just share for each jati in proportion to its population. And to make the particular caste to fight and secure its share, it has to strengthen its socio-cultural roots. This is nothing but our "caste identity" thesis with one difference — that it is extended into a political party. Dr. Nesan recently came all the way from his native place at Sirkali (Nagai dt.) to meet our Editor and spent a day with him. Bahujan concept: His new movement called Katrore Pasarai (KP), meaning "educated people's chamber", claims 1 lakh cadres and millions of followers. The greatness of KP is its Bahujan concept — uniting all the oppressed sections unlike other existing caste-based parties. Dr. Nesan's party is a step forward and closer to the thoughts of Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy. It assures representation to each oppressed section in proportion to the population of each caste and community. This is what our "caste identity" theory also recommends. The TN Dalits are divided into three principal caste groups — Paraiahs in North TN, Pallars in South and Arundatiyars (Chakkaliyars) in West. The other principal deprived castes include Vanniyars, Thevars, Nadars. The oppressed communities are Muslims and Christians. Together they make up 80% of the state population which will be Nesan's constituency. Those interested in going deeper into Nesan's thoughts may order his book, Preferential Participation. Caste clashes stop in TN: He is fully convinced that a deprived section will not be able to fight and secure its share unless it strengthens its unique "caste identity" —instead of following the Brahminical identity. This is exactly the argument of DV. The thoughts of Dr. Nesan are applicable to every part of India and hence the book may be ordered and studied in depth. Dr. Nesan said his stronghold were Villupuram, Vellore, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Thiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam and Madurai districts. His argument in favour of caste-based share for each deprived caste has had one dramatic effect. He says it united the two warring major caste groups —Paraiahs (10%) and Vanniyars (10%)— in North TN. In the South, the unity of the two warring castes — Pallars and Thevars —has not taken place because the Thevars are a land-owning jati. Muslims who are 10% of the state population are also joining the movement. The halt to prolonged bloody Vanniyar-Paraiah caste clashes has brought the two deprived sections closer. Because of this Dr. Ramadoss, leader of the Vanniyar caste, has come close to Dr. Nesan. This is the first time TN is giving birth to a socio-cultural political movement that embraces all the deprived castes and communities — SC/ST/BCs and Muslim/Christians. Every political party in TN today belongs to a particular jati but Dr. Nesan has assured a new hope to all the sections assuring to unite them on the Bahujan concept. Terribal confusion in TN: Tamil Nadu, the land of Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy, is currently under a terrible confusion. What is shocking is that the purest Dravidians of the country have elected the notorious Bangalore Papatti as their Chief Minister. The rival DMK is headed by an ageing leader. Dr. Ramadoss' party (PMK) is confined to Vanniyars. Vaiko's party is elitist and upper caste. There are good lot of confusions and contradictions in TN. So much so, our good old hope — rather the assurance — that TN would show the way to the rest of India has faded. As a consequence TN has become perhaps the poorest state in the South with its people migrating all over India. Dr. Nesan, the young scientist well-versed in Dr. Ambedkar's and Periyar's thoughts, hopes to give a new direction to TN. The Editor suggested a day-long meeting of different caste and community leaders, along with their intellectuals, under the presidentship of Dr. Ramadoss, at Madras. Dr. Nesan liked the idea. But I would request you to download all the movies and see them at leisure. In fact, I am disappointed to note that the world-famous godman Baba is a very poor magician. The sleight-of-hand tricks performed by him are all too obvious. He transfers the vibhuti (ash) tablets/necklaces/lingams, etc. from his left hand to the right hand at one stage under the cover of envelopes/towels/mementos. Perhaps, he thinks all are bloody fools like his blind devotees. Hidden linga: Test your observational skills by watching the videos closely and spot the precise stage where he is resorting to trickery. You may read the ‘answers’ later from the web page. He keeps varying his tricks slightly. For example, there are four videos of him bringing out a Siva linga from his mouth. In one case, it is evident that the linga is hidden in the towel which he holds up to his mouth. Immediately he ‘spits’ out the linga. In another case, he spits out yellow bile into a towel, and produces a ling from the ‘wrong side’ of the towel; it was clearly hidden there. In a third case, the linga is small and is apparently covered in a handkerchief and swallowed temporarily and then brought out. In a fourth case, he transfers a small linga from his left hand to right hand under the cover of a handkerchief and behind the microphone, and then claims to ‘produce’ it from his right hand. Creating out of nothing: Abraham Kovoor was right in challenging Sai Baba to produce something larger than the palm of his hand such as a raw coconut or a pumpkin. It is nobody’s claim that Science can explain everything. But in areas where Science is on very firm ground (e.g The Law of Conservation of Mass-Energy which states that mass or energy cannot be created out of nothing but can only be converted from one form into another - is a time-tested and proven law), anybody who performs a feat which seems to violate such a law needs to be viewed with the utmost scepticism. _____________________________________ The Hindu "belief system"The "god" is ageing and the other day he had a fall and was injured. The VIPs in Bangalore rushed. Doctors treated the "god". The "god" has started a high-tech hospital in Whitefield, in suburban Bangalore. Into this hospital, the "god" was admitted. All these are facts but the "Hindu mind" has become so sick that it refuses to believe the facts but clings to its faith. And this faith makes them rush to this fake and get fooled. Fortunately, this Baba has remained as a richman's "god". The poor are much wiser. We have written a lot on the Hindu "belief system". A Hindu believes what he wants to believe. This belief may be a downright lie. Yet he believes in it because what makes him believe is his faith. What is faith? This faith need not be based on scientific proof, rational thinking or logical arguments. That is why the "Hindus" have not produced a single Nobel Laureate after "independence". It doesn't even occur to the "Hindus" that this stupid Backward Caste Satyanarayana Raju from Anantapur dt.of AP is a puppet in the hands of Brahmins and dancing to their tunes. It is this "belief system" of Hindus that make them gullible, confused and often get cheated. These Hindus can be easily fooled by another cunning "Hindu". This Hindu "belief system" is playing havoc with the Hindus and giving a gala time for godmen to loot "Hindus" and their "Hindustan" — a glorious fools' paradise — EDITOR __________________________________________________________________________________ How can British claim to be "innocents"? Bangalore: The cry in London about 7/7 was that the "terrorists" were killing only the innocents. We hear such a cry in all wars and violence in which only the innocents are victims. Fine. In the 7/7 London bombing this cry of "innocents" was given the loudest publicity though only within 60 people were killed. But nobody talks of the innocents killed in Iraq. Why no loud protests? Why the media is ignoring them? Is it because the Iraq "innocents" were Muslims and the London "innocents" were Christians? FAILURE TO PUNISH TONY BLAIRYes. Nobody will dispute that "innocents" alone were killed in London. But these "innocents" also must note that they too had a fine opportunity to punish the perpetrators of the 7/7 violence. During the latest British Parliament election why same "innocents" failed to punish Tony Blair, the principal accused in the crime against "innocents"? Did not the "innocents" fail? If they were "innocents" and convinced that Tony was responsible for making their life miserable, they could have voted him out. But they did not. In other words, the "innocents" were not genuinely innocent. They did elect Tony Blair —though with a reduced majority. WHY LIBERALS WERE LET DOWN ?These "innocents" could have voted for the Liberal Democratic Party and trounced Tony Blair and sent him hone. They did not. That means in a corner of their hearts they did have some admiration for him arising out of their hatred for the other "innocents" killed in Iraq, Palestine, Afghan etc. The "innocents" to qualify themselves to be called innocents will have to prove their innocence. When they voted for a killer are they entitled to be called innocent? Can the British people be strictly called innocent? OBITUARY OF BLAIRChildren are always innocent. They love all, hate none, suffer from no prejudices. Did those White British who voted for Tony Blair loved all and hate none? If so how did they re-elect the killer? How can they be called "innocent"? We were in London during (April-May 2005) the peak period of the British election when the anti-Blair fever was running high in England. The newspapers were virtually writing the political obituary of Blair. But the results shocked us. The "innocents" voted for Blair. Even after calling him a "liar" on Iraq where thousands died in the illegal war. We read reports in the British press that: "Blair must pay for what he has done". (Guardian, May 3, 2005).ANTI-MUSLIM RACISTS George Galloway, MP, wrote that Blair misled parliament and the people, he lied to the armed forces also. Bush and Blair hunted for al-Qaeda in Iraq but nothing was found. Whole sale bluffs on Saddam weapons of mass destruction. Lies after lies. Blair as the puppy of Bush was the loudest defender of Iraq war. Galloway concluded: "History will link this Prime Minister irrevocably with Iraq. It will be sculpting on his political tombstone." But what happened? The British voters were not moved. At least a majority of them preferred to be anti-Muslim racists. How can racists pretend to be innocents? __________________________________________________________________________________ Madras IIT racists persecute Backward Caste woman professor Bangalore: Dr. W.B. Vasantha Kandaswamy, teaching in the notorious Brahmin stronghold of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with a distinguished academic record has become the latest victim of casteism (racism) and persecuted for the past 17 years. She submitted an eight-point chargesheet against its tyrannical bosses whose racist atrocities have been the subject of two articles in DV some years ago and a furious agitation by Dalits before the IIT itself. The Editor of DV participated in it. Following our agitation on this the then racist Director of the IIT was transferred. Charge sheet: Vasantha's chargesheet lists the following charges: 1). Denial of selection to higher positions for past 17 years in spite of having highest qualifications. 2). Financial strangulation by denial of correct salary for past 9 years and failure to obey court orders. 3). Harassment in workplace and her claim for damages. 4). Arbitrariness in Ph.D. student admissions. 5). Withholding of water, electricity, phone etc. 6). Discrimination through denial of large residential quarters and reduction of quarters area. 7). Baselessly linking her with terrorist organizations. 8). Introducing new rules and regulations with the sole motive of affecting her prospects. LTTE and ISI connection: So far Vasantha has made about 65 representations to "top people" but no use. She is now planning to approach the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (UN-CEDAW). She is working as Assistant Professor, Dept of Maths, IIT Madras, with 31 years of teaching and research experience beginning from 1974. Vasantha belongs to the Backward Caste and is the mother of an up-and-coming Dalit student leader, Meena Kandaswamy, for sometime editor of an English Dalit journal from Madras. To defame Vasantha, the Hindu nazis of IIT used their jatwala, the notorious Iyer Subramanian Swamy, who is running a one-man show in Delhi called the Janata Party. He issued a press statement saying that Vasanta must be arrested under the NSA for her LTTE and also ISI Pakistan connection. The vaidiks have their media to say anything they want. They will never, ever tolerate any intellectual from the Dalit/Backward original inhabitants to challenge their monopoly even after 60 years of India's "independence".
