Turkey rejects Ataturk & secularism
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: What all we said on Turkey have proved correct.
The minority anti-Islamic forces inside Turkey aided and abetted
by the West suffered a crushing defeat in the recent Turkish elections.
Prime Minister Erdogan’s Islamic Party won a big victory
in the July 22 election.
The anti-Muslim West which consistently kept Turkey out of European
Union (EU) did its best to get Erdogan defeated. But they all failed.
DV has been repeatedly telling Turkey not to knock on the doors
of EU but go back to its Islamic roots and play a leading role
to fight the Western war on Muslims and Islam.
The election results proved that Turkey has decisively rejected
Turkey’s founder Kemal Ataturk’s policy of Westernisation
and Turkey’s minority rich Muslims efforts to turn Turkey
against Islam and then join the European Union. DV has proved right.
Erdogan’s A.K. Party draws its support from the poorer Turks
who form a big majority. Erdogan might have pledged before and
after the elections to step up efforts to join EU’s “Christian
club”. But with the election of Sarkozy, the Muslim-hating
racist Jew as French President, Turkey has no chance of joining
this exclusive club.
The country’s minority rich Muslims as exploiters have gained
a lot under Ataturk’s policies promoted by the dictatorial
Turkish Army. Both the “secular” Muslims and their
guardian in the Army have suffered a slap on their face.
Now that the people of Turkey have given Erdogan a clear mandate,
he must fulfil their wishes one by one.
Dalits must get ready for class-caste war
A CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: DV must give a call to organise an all-India
Dalit Ex-servicemens’ League which is much more important
than forming a Dalit human rights organisation. This is because
there are several signs that we may face yet another great global
economic depression very soon. Wen the USSR collapsed, nuclear
weapons became available on the black market. Similarly, after
a US dollar collapse history will repeat.
Even China’s economy may crash if US crashes because China
is dependent on the US market. That is why China is not squeezing
the US so hard. But even China may not be able to help USA for
a long time and the inevitable global economic crash may simply
happen.
In fact, the zionists in the US are already aware of this and
are trying to crash the global economy and introduce a new currency
called “Amero” to compete with the Euro. They are also
planning to attack Iran. At this point, we do not know if the US
economy will crash before they attack Iran or after. All we know
is that there are distinct signs of a global economic crash and
an Iran attack. We may even see both happening together.
India and Pakistan too will not escape all this. Nor will China.
All the three have the nuclear weapons — which may enter
the black market if and when the global economy crashes and the “Jews
of India” may try to impose their dictatorship. During such
a crisis situation caste-class struggles will intensify and reach
a revolutionary crescendo due to sheer economic pressure.
Brahminical people will never accept the verdict of democracy
but try to clamp a fascist dictatorship. Any future victory against
such master-criminal crooks, who have kept our people in bondage
for 5,000 years, will be possible only with a perfect self-defence.
We must take full advantage of the global collapse and must not
lose the historic opportunity.
Not only we must use “caste identity” theory,
but we must use even other means. So we must organise and recruit
Dalit scientists who are being discriminated against into a revolutionary
scientists’ league and a Dalit ex-servicemen’s league.
If the global economy collapses and if we miss the chance, then
we would have only ourselves to blame. We must also launch a revolutionary
Bodh Gaya liberation movement, private sector reservation struggle,
demand reservation in the armed forces as well as demand separate
electorate.
Dalits cannot afford to throw away the weapons of maoism and allow
the Brahminical forces to monopolise it. Maoism is becoming extremely
fashionable to Brahmins. Dalits must form their own Maoist Party
under Com. Gaddar.
“Caste identity” criticised at DV silver jubilee
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The Andhra Pradesh Dalit Voice silver
jubilee day-long celebrations held in Hyderabad on Aug.12 was a
big success. Not only the Madina Education Centre Hall in the heart
of the city was packed from beginning to end but it attracted five
DV members from far off Bombay led by Munlivasi Mala. Editor V.T.
Rajshekar delivered a forceful speech both in the morning and evening
session.
The highlight of the session was a surprise attack on the Editor’s “caste
identity” thesis by AP’s noted Dalit leader
Bojja Tarakam, an old friend of the Editor, indicating the AP’s
Mala-Madiga rivalry is still boiling.
He said DV was trying to divide the Dalits and deviating from
the path laid by Dr. Ambedkar.
Incidentally, it was Tarakam’s article criticising the Editor
(DV July 16, 1996 p.5: “Call to strengthen each jati
goes against Babasaheb’s call”) that led to a
six-year-long debate on “caste identity”,
the longest in the history of DV.
Madiga demand: Tarakam is a respected Dalit leader of AP
but his criticism was not shared by the Madigas and even other
fair-minded Malas including Gaddar who was present. There are many jatis within
the Scheduled Castes in AP and Madigas (Chamars) are the most prominent.
Their demand is that the SC reservation quota should be divided
in proportion to the population of each jati.
Since DV stands for social justice it fully supports the Madiga
demand for categorisation. The Mala opposition to this has divided
the Dalit movement in AP.
A detailed report on the Hyderabad meting, held under the leadership
of Dr. Yadaiah, will be published in the next issue.
UN report calls Indian govt. bluffs : Claims of 10% growth rate
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The Indian Prime Minister, its Finance Minister
and the Planning Commission go on telling us that India is bursting
with prosperity, heading towards a 10% growth rate and competing
even with China. But Dalit Voice has been continuously
calling the bluffs of India’s upper caste rulers. Our newly
started “India Shining” column gives only
the official versions published in the “national” toilet
papers. The latest is the report of the United Nations Millennium
Development Goals (MDG) and how far India has tried to meet the
target. The figures reveal the utter failure of the Manmohan Singh
Govt. and the report below reveals the shocking truth.
This is proved in the note by the Wada Na Todo Abhiyan — National
Secretariat, C-1/E-Second Floor, Behind Yusuf Sarai Gurudwara,
Green Park Extension, New Delhi - 110 016:
In Sept.2000, 189 countries in the UN came together in the largest
gathering of world leaders in history to adopt the UN Millennium
Declaration, and thereby pledge that their countries will act to
significantly reduce the extreme poverty and inequality that affected
over a billion people at the turn of the century (70% of them being
women) and contribute to the creation of a “more peaceful,
prosperous and just world”.
Importance of MDG: MDGs are a concise set of goals, numerical
targets and quantifiable indicators to assess progress in world
development for the period of achievement set out in the Millennium
Declaration, namely 2000-2015. The MDG set includes 8 goals, 18
targets and over 40 indicators. Since the adoption of the UN Millennium
Declaration, both governments and citizens in countries across
the world have adopted the MDGs as a measure of their progress
on key development indicators, and have galvanized largescale support
for its achievement.
India has an all-important role to play in the achievement of
the MDG.
At the turn of century, India alone accounted for nearly one-fourth
(364 million) of the word’s poor. India accounts for the
largest number of maternal deaths in the world and its dismal rates
of infant mortality and maternal mortality are worse than those
in some countries of sub-Saharan Africa. India is also home to
the highest number of undernourished people in the world, and one-third
of the world’s under-weight children. Public spending on
health in India as a % of GDP is less than in countries like Sri
Lanka and Sierra Leone. Currently India spends close to 3% of its
GDP on education and less than 1% of its GDP on health.
In 2007, which marks the mid-point of the period agreed by the
UN member states for the achievement of the MDG, 34.7% of India’s
population lives below the global poverty standard of less than
$1 per day consumption during 1990-2001. In 2004-05, this figure
was approximately 7% lower, at 27.8%. A staggering 45.9% of children
under the age of 3 are underweight, 38.4% are stunted, and 19.1%
wasted.
The net enrolment ratio in primary education for both sexes was
89.7% in 2004. For girls it stands 87% and 92.2% for boys. The
national development goals aim to increase the primary school enrolment
rate to 100% and wipe out the drop-outs by 2015, as against 41.96%
in 1991-92.
Critical indicators
¨An estimated 431 million people living with $1 per day (with
purchasing power parity) in the South Asia region, of which 364
m are in India.
¨Foodgrain absorption has declined drastically over the last
decade. It is currently estimated at about 155 kg per capita per
annum, which is close to the absorption rate during the West Bengal
Famine of the 1940s.
¨Primary education completion rate still quite low in India
(59%).
¨In Class I to V, dropout rates are very high in Bihar (60%),
Rajasthan (55%), UP (50%) and Orissa (50%).
¨MMR (per 100,000 live births) is alarmingly high. In states
like UP (707) and Rajasthan (670), the ratios are among the worst
in the world.
¨Among the children under 5 years of age, 54% in Bihar, 55%
in MP, 51% in Rajasthan, 52% in UP and 54% in Orissa are underweight.
¨In 2000, as many as 5,09,497 people in Orissa and 1,94,689
people in MP were affected by malaria.
¨TB prevalence rate (per 100,000 population) in India (344)
is comparable to that of some countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
¨32% of the people in MP and Rajasthan, 36% of the people
in Orissa do not have access to safe water.
¨92% in MP, 91% in Orissa and 67% in UP do not have access
to improved sanitation.
¨More than 180 million of the Dalits and 89 million of the
Adivasis in the country continue to face acute social and economic
deprivation. (info@wadanatodo.net)

9/11 was a hoax
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: DV was the first paper in India
to reveal that the 9/11 story was a total falsehood manufactured
by the zionists controlling the Bush Administration. We have
published important DV references to 9/11 for verification.
The zionists disguising as neocons killed thousands of American
innocents to demonstrate the world that 9/11 was the handiwork
of the Al-quaida Muslim terrorists hiding in Afghanistan. But
the terrorist leader named by the USA, Osama bin Laden, to this
day is neither caught nor killed. Nor could they defeat Afghanistan
or Iraq.
The Muslims are bravely fighting and also dying without yielding
to zionists. But it is neocons (read zionists) who are “dying” one
by one. The latest to go is the World Bank chief Paul Wolfowitz,
the brain behind the 9/11. Next is Karl Rove.
DV has said all this so bravely and proved right.
Innocent Americans taken for a ride by the zionists must now
launch a campaign to try the king of the criminals, President
Bush, for treason and see that he is sentenced to death — EDITOR.
Jews take over France
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Shocking news. Zionists have swallowed France — hallowed
for its great French Revolution that gave us Liberty, Equality,
Fraternity.
Under Nicolas Sarkozy, the new French President, all this will
be dead. Because he is not only a Jew and a cantankerous racist
but vowed to turn France against Blacks, Muslims but even the native
French Christians. That is how he is hitting headlines and has
become the darling of the tyrants of the world led by George Bush.
The zionist-controlled Western media is giving him a big build-up.
Painting him as the leader of whole Europe, so that he will dismantle
all that is so painstakingly built by the founding fathers of Modern
France.
Jew heads World Bank: The First Freedom, an American
English journal published from Silverhill, Alabama, adds:
Nicolas Sarkozy, France’s new President, is allegedly a
conservative. So the French were befuddled that, as soon as he
was elected, he appointed to high-ranking official positions several
leaders of the rival Social-Democratic Party.
However, Sarkozy is above all a Jew. He simply appointed other
Jews. Jews are helping each other, and the different political
parties to which they belong is secondary. In fact, the French
Jews set up two different parties, the conservative and the socialist,
to give this illusion of free choice. In reality, the French voters
had but a single choice: between Jews and Jews. Sarkozy proceeded
to appoint the Social-Democrat, Jew Bernard Kouchner as foreign
minister. Sarkozy named social-democrat Jew Dominique Strauss-Kahn
to head the International Monetary Fund. Sarkozy appointed on July
11 Social-Democrat Jew Jack Lang to a committee that’s working
on the “reform” of French institutions. His campaign
was supported by prominent Jewish Social-Democrats Simone Veil
and Arno Klarsfeld. Jewish power is consolidating its grip over
France.
INDIA SHINING
Govt. admits failure in education
New Delhi: Centre has admitted that the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan
(SSA), which was aimed at ensuring universal quality elementary
education, has failed to improve the learning achievements of the
children in primary schools. The failure in quality control was
a major road block in addressing problems like students absenteeism,
increasing drop-out rates and out-of-school children. “Primary
school learning achievement is lamentably low”, the Sixth
Review Mission of SSA by the Human Resource Development Ministry
said in its report. The deadline for achieving universal quality
elementary education for all is 2010. Notwithstanding government
claims that the SSA had been given top priority with an outlay
of about Rs. 6,414 crore (2007-08), the Review Mission observed
that improving quality of student learning still remained a major
challenge before SSA.

Schools without students
New Delhi: At a time when the country is facing a shortage
of educational institutions, over 32,000 schools do not have a
single student, a government survey reveals. And Karnataka has
the highest number of such schools, standing at 7,945. These institutions,
48% of which are primary schools, are located mostly in rural areas
and are in the public sector, says the report “Elementary
Education in India 2005-06” that was prepared by National
University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA).
The survey, which covers 11,24,033 schools in 35 states and union
territories found that 2.92% of these schools had zero enrolment.
While 15,791 were primary schools, the rest were upper primary,
secondary and higher secondary schools.

Agrarian crisis
New Delhi: Sixty years on, rural India is shambles. The
most severe agrarian crisis since the eve of the Green Revolution
rages on. In 60 years we haven’t managed — except in
three states — to push through any serious land reforms or
tenancy reforms. But we can clear a Special Economic Zone (SEZ)
in six months. In the sixth decade of our “independence”,
structural and other inequalities deepen, and rural India is in
big trouble. The average monthly per capita expenditure (MPCE)
of the Indian farm household is a long way from Rs. 15 lakh. And
further from $115,000. It is, in fact, Rs. 503. Not far above the
rural poverty line. And that’s a national average, mixing
both giant landlords and tiny landholders.

LETERS TO EDITOR
Parvez Khan, Bahnhofvorplatz-2a, 50667-Koln, Germany: I
read Nitish Bharradwaj’s hate-filled Letter in the truth-telling Dalit
Voice (July 16, 2007, p 14). I have just finished its translation
into German and I intend to send it to all the German newspapers
in Germany and Switzerland in the print and email format both.
The purpose is to show it to the rest of the world that the Hindus
are all zionists, fascists and evil and there is no equality between
different races in “Fascist India” and “Pappadum India”.
India is becoming a Hindu terrorist state and it has been carrying
out an ethnic genocide of the Dalits since many thousands years.
It has also carried out the genocide of Muslims, Sikhs, Christians
and Budhists with impunity. I intend to send your “Gandhi
nonsense” which appeared in the DV to all prominent newspapers
in Switzerland and Germany, where I live. Switzerland is a trilingual
country and along with German, they also speak French and Italian.
I will also translate it into French and Italian and would send
it to their respective media in Switzerland also. I am determined
to expose the “Fascist Hindus” all over the world.
We have already given a tarnished image to M.K. Gandhi, who, among
the Africans, is now called, Ku Klux Gandhi and also “Fascist
Gandhi” in Germany. We have also copied the article from
DV regarding “Gandhi prostitutes” in Holland and we
sent it to nearly every Dutch newspaper and freelance journalist
in Holland. We are also spreading the propaganda that the Hindus
drink cow’s urine, which is called, “Gandhi cola”.
---------------
Pieter Friedrich (jjamesf@gmail.com): We have been busy
with our Sikh Information Centre. Perhaps you heard about the United
Nations creation of Oct. 2, Gandhi’s birthday, as an “International
Day of Non-Violence”? To protest this, we are arranging to
host protests at Gandhi statues in three major American cities
on Oct. 2. We are also working to arrange several other events
corresponding to that date which will, we hope, draw major attention
to the Gandhi problem. Additionally, we have arranged a speech
by Col. G.B. Singh, author of Gandhi: Behind the Mask of Divinity.
This will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on Aug. 26, at the Martin
Luther King Jr. Memorial Center. G.B. Singh will discuss Gandhi’s
racism, especially against South African blacks and Indian Dalits.
---------------
Ade Banjoko, Barrister, London: I found your Dalit
Voice silver jubilee held in London on July 24, 2007 both
informative and interesting. With the greatest of respect to
Editor V.T. Rajshekar I do not agree that there is a “Black
silence in the face of the continued White racism”. Many
people in Africa and in the diaspora are not aware of the desperate
plight of Dalits of India. I can say though that Runoko Rashidi,
a noted African-American historian, has consistently talked of
the Blacks of India. He has a website called the global African
experience in which he has numerous articles and photographs
on the Dalits. The late Dr. Ivan Van Sertima also brought the
plight of the Dalits to the attention of the African community.
However as this issue is not discussed by many in the Indian
Govt. or by Indians openly the topic or issue remains buried
and/or ignored. The oppression of the Dalits must be addressed
and I am therefore happy to contribute a short article. (adebanjoko@hotmail.com).

Suhail Shehzad, (Pakistani prisoner), Ward No.2, Jaipur
Central Jail, Jaipur - 302 001: I am a 49-year-old citizen of Pakistan
(r/o Chouck Fauji Basti, Baharnalpur, Pakistan) confined in India
for almost 19 years. As per record, I was arrested on 25-3-1988
at Sirsa, Haryana. On 7-5-1990, the CJM court of Sirsa, Haryana,
sentenced me to 3 years imprisonment in case no.445/1-1988, u/s
of Official Secret Act and u/s 14 of Foreigners Act. On 28-2-1991,
I was handed over to Haryana police for deportation. After some
40-50 days, I was handed over to the Rajasthan police. On 19-10-1991,
Rajasthan police sent me into Central Jail, Jaipur, implicating
in 2 fake cases. On 3-9-1994, the CJM court of Shri Ganganagar
acquitted me in the first fake case no:498/91 u/s 14 of Foreigners
Act and v/s of IPPR etc. On 27-6-2005, after a trial of 14 years
the Dist. & Sessions Court of Jaipur city acquitted me in the
second fake case no: 78/95 u/s 3,3/9 of Official Secret Act, and
directed the authorities to deport me from India. On the same day,
I was detained u/s 109 of GPC for next six months. On 26-12-2005,
I was further detained u/s 109 of GPC for next six months. On 25-6-2006,
I was once again detained u/s 109 of GPC for next six months. On
16-12-2006, I was detained once again this time u/s 3(1) (b) of
National Security Act, for one year. The State Govt. is deliberately
avoiding to deport me and playing delaying tactics to detain me.
There is no hope for my early deportation to my country. In these
circumstances, I seek the special intervention of the Chief Justice
of the Supreme Court. Kindly admit this letter as my habeas corpus
petition.

ZIONISM
(The Real Enemy of the Jews)
Contrary to what most people assume, zionism is
not now, nor was it ever co-extensive with Judaism.
Modern Israel is a zionist state, not a Jewish
state, The author, a friend of the Editor V.T. Rajshekar, has fully
endorsed his thesis that Brahmins are the “Jews of India”.
The author does not blame the zionist lobby for exercising its
influence, now in shocking and awesome alliance with America’s
born-again Christian fundmantalists and the neo-cons, in association
with oil interests and the MIC (military industrial complex).
This is the first ever book to put the struggle
for Palestine into its global context — to show how all the
pieces of a complicated jigsaw puzzle fit together.
