Manmohan mischief kills OBC reservation Bill ?
OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: As already predicted several times,
Manmohan Singh, with the help of Veerappa Moily, has played the
mischief in the Bill to provide reservations to OBCs in central
educational institutions.
The mischief is very well evident in the way the Bill was introduced
on the last day of the Lok Sabha on Aug.25 before it was adjourned.
But the alert upper caste students, fully supported by the country’s
higher judiciary and the media, have already started agitating
against the Bill which has killed all hopes of the OBCs getting
any justice.
The Bill will go before a parliamentary standing committee where
it is expected to be made more lifeless.
SONIA LACKS CASTE KNOWLEDGE
The problem is Sonia Gandhi — being a new-comer to politics,
a foreign-born Italian, besides being a woman — is yet to
understand the tremendous importance of the Bill from her Congress
Party’s view. With upper castes like Pranab Mukherji — a
Bengali Brahmin —surrounding her, she is yet to indicate
her mind. That is how anti-Backward people like Manmohan Singh
are taking advantage of the situation.
But Sonia, who alone can steer the Congress to victory, is being
misled by this coterie. She should have taken hints from the strong
support given to the Bill by Backward leaders like Lalu Prasad,
Karunanidhi, Sharad Pawar, Dr. Ramadoss etc. but her silence emboldened
the upper caste mischief mongers to sabotage the Bill.
TO HELL WITH “KNOWLEDGE”
Manmohan’s mischief is very clear when he talked at the
Aug.21 cabinet meeting about “knowledge strength” (Hindu Aug.23,
2006):
Three interventions by Manmohan Singh kept the discussion on an
even keel. Dr. Singh was forthright in telling his Cabinet colleagues
that they should not do anything that would destroy the country’s “knowledge
strength”. His plea was not to upbend what had been achieved
during the last 50 years in higher education and scientific research.
We know to which “knowledge strength”, he is referring
to. It is our ruling upper caste merit-mongers who have made a
mess of India. This English-educated upper castes (just 1% of our
country’s population” got the best of education at
the cost of the country’s exchequer and fled to Western countries,
cursing India and sought the highly paid jobs.
INVENTOR OF HARSHAD METHA
These are the very people today financing Hindu terrorist organisations
like RSS. Those who could not run away to West remained inside
indulging in all sorts of anti-national activities.
The evidence of the country’s “knowledge
strength” is reflected in the just published World Bank
report (DV Edit Sept.1, 2006: “Rising social tensions
will push India to more bloody violence: World Bank warning”).
If this is the “knowledge strength” that the PM is
referring to, the country would like to be saved from this calamity.
India’s 15% micro-minority upper castes have given enough
evidence of their “knowledge strength” which has sapped
the country’s energies and made it a failed state. We have
written enough on its crimes and the only thing we can say at this
stage is that the country will be very much better off without
this “knowledge strength” which created demons like
Harshad Mehta and Narendra Modi.
WEAKNESS OF OBCs
The Brahminical forces know the weaknesses of this highly hinduised (enslaved)
OBCs. They may be politically powerful, having the single largest
presence in the state legislatures and the Lok Sabha, but they
can be easily manipulated by their masters. With the entire media,
the higher judiciary and the bureaucracy hostile to OBC reservation
plus the mischievous Manuwadi marxists waiting to kill
the bill and a hostile man as PM and Congress Party boss Sonia
Gandhi, good-hearted but uneducated in the country’s caste
politics, we have no hope of the OBC Bill serving any purpose.
Dalit Sikhs kept out of Army ?
A CORRESPONDENT
Nawanshahr: Mazhabi and Ramdasia Sikh caste youths
aspiring to join the Sikh Light Infantry, which itself is a purely
Dalit, are facing problems. Though reserved for the two Dalit Sikh
castes, the caste certificates being issued to them by the government
officials do not include the word Sikh with their castes, Mazhabi
and Ramdasia.
This came to light here during an Army recruitment rally here
recently. A number of aspirant youths had to go back as they were
ineligible due to this technical error. Some said though they had
been urging the officials to issue them caste certificate showing
their caste as “Sikh Mazhabi” or “Sikh Ramdasia”,
the officials had been refusing to do so as in a Punjab Government
notification No.113-WG-51 dated Jan.15, 1951 signed by M.R. Sachdeva,
then Chief Secretary, Punjab, and circulated to all administrative
secretaries vide letter No. UO No. 3641 WG-1-51 dated June 2, 1951
mentioning certain castes for the purpose of issuing SC certificates,
the word Sikh had not been mentioned with the castes Mazhabi and
Ramdasia. However, some persons had manipulated to get the word “Sikh” added
in their caste certificate. Ironically, about 34 years ago, the
then secretary, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Government
of Punjab, vide letter number 5836-6 SW-69/26062 dated Nov. 26,
1969 had clarified that keeping in view the convenience of the
persons the word “Sikh” could be added to the castes
Mazhabi or Ramdasia as it did not in any way affect a caste certificate.
But till now Mazhabi and Ramdasia Sikh youths have been suffering
due to the adamant attitude of the officials.
Brig. Ajay Pahwa, DDG (recruitment), north, said this minor “technical
problem” had been causing inconvenience to both the army
and the unemployed youths aspiring to join the Army.
